So since the break is coming and we finally will have some time to potentially do things in Mist what do people want to do? Any schemes that you are cooking up that we should be aware of? Anyone you want to interact with?
I wouldn't mind making more contacts with people from other villages. Like spreading the good news of uplift, but more general. Going out to eat, playing more board games, uplift workshops, etc.So since the break is coming and we finally will have some time to potentially do things in Mist what do people want to do? I like this idea a bunch. I'd really like to make it a twice a week thing with the members of our current red team while we are all in mist
That would make me so incredibly sad. We get to go to Mist but don't get to do anythingYou seem to be working under the assumption we'd be staying in Mist which seems highly erroneous based on what QMs have said in the past.

Also, do we have any way to keep in contact with any friends we make here? Is casual mail between villages something that happens?
I was teasing @MadScientist by pretending that LBF and ARS are the same thing. It took something like a year for the difference between the two to finally get embedded into the thread's zeitgeist and I'm pretty sure he's run out of hair to tear out.
35, actually.
@MadScientist By the way, we need a seal that activates a BUNCH of other seals as a variant of the ARS. Even at the start of the tournament we'll have like five seals to activate: Two banshee slayers, a banshee, disco murder, and Casino Seals.
I can only imagine how many seals we'll be activating to start combat off in a year.
What do they have to do with ARS?One of the many reasons we should have researched casino seals. They give a path to breaking action economy in half
Ooh, I just had a thought for what I wanna do during the break, if we get to stay in Mist, say, an extra week.
Talk to all the other nations' genin, figure out who among them can cook, and host, with their help, a nice get together with all nations' cooking. Invite everyone; jounin, kage, even the genin that didn't make it to the fifth event.
Right? The one thing that'll always get people together is cooking, and hosting a party with every nations' cooking is a great way to show what (yummy) things the others have to offer.I regret that I have but one like to give this post. This is a fantastic idea.
The biggest potential snag in this is if the other genin go back to their villages too, which they may very well do if they have favourable training areas there. It is possible that actions like this could undermine the potency of the message the event sends, can we do anything to mitigate that risk?Ooh, I just had a thought for what I wanna do during the break, if we get to stay in Mist, say, an extra week.

I'm not sure I get what you're saying here. The biggest potential snag in this is if the other genin go back to their villages too, which they may very well do if they have favourable training areas there. If the intention is to have a get together with ninja from all nations showing up, but half the genin who made the tournament went back to their village to train and some minor villages left entirely, we'll have a lot of absent positions not only on the guest list but on cultural representation. Those absences decrease the effectiveness of the get together as a friendly gathering of ninja from all nations, and we should do our best to either minimize such absences or be able to mitigate the damage the absences would do to the message.
Yes, that's something I noticed too. Not everyone comes as prepared for the chuunin exams as us.One problem is the lack of access to ingredients to make use in a nation's cuisine.
