Relevant note: Noburi and Keiko have 141 points each. Hazou has 142.
Given that the top teams actually scored positive (Hinata/Shino/Shiina scored >200 points) we are so fucked.
I vote we immediately move to rip out Team Waterfall from entering the last stage altogether. They're a top scoring team, Team 8 has already agreed to take them out, and we need to get to them early before they have the opportunity to get information on the next Event and then turtle.
Does anyone recall what happens to the word-halves of people who've been eliminated?

As I said in QM chat when that happened, inb4 players decided to cheer akane up by saying "it's fine sweetheart, we didn't even tell them about the DANGEROUS part of your power!"
I am confident the Hot Spring and Waterfall teams remain, am less sure about the others but give it better than even odds.
I believe you guys are currently around +175...? but sadly I don't have a list for everyone together, so I don't have an easy comparison for you.
...did I do math wrong? Event ended at sunset, they want to give you night to recover + 24 hours to figure stuff out.

Well, if the last update ended five hours after the event then the numbers check out. Mainly, though, I was facetiously making a big deal out of nothing since we still have to do recon anyways.

Well, assuming we'll be taking out lots of people, chakra conservation will be a major issue. So yes, lots of seal use, but no Pangolin techniques, can save those for later. Have to confirm with Jiraiya whether busting eardrums counts as undue harm.

True, but we also need to explain what we want to do and how. It's a balancing act. I suspect the QMs are mostly just worried about the super lengthy and involved plans that are like 500+ words.

Finding is likely. You have value to offer as individuals who know the urban and natural geography of the area and the kinds of practices the administration is liable to engage in. During will depend heavily on the specifics of the event, though they'll be more inclined to place themselves in good standing since everyone is feeling the pressure at this point.

So how many Ninja still need to be eliminated before the final tournament? That'll dictate how much we need to dominate the scoring or knock out other teams to get that far. From there I imagine the points won't matter and it'll just be an elimination tournament.
Does anyone have any ideas for how we can cheer up Akane? She's going to be feeling devastated. We've got to be there for her and help however we can. Introducing her to Hana might be a nice gesture, but I don't know what specifically else we could do, aside from being generally supportive and present for her. (Other than apologize, of course.)

MIST ANBU: Lady Mizukage! Our latest report indicates that Team Gouketsu somehow managed to eliminate 56 teams. There weren't even that many teams left in the exam.
