• Whipguns Another by Cari. Macerators work because objects released from storage are stationary in the seal's frame of reference. If you punch with a macerator on your fist and release during the punch then the chunk of granite is released at the same velocity as your punch. Whips break the sound barrier. Stick a seal on the end of a whip, and keep trying to get the timing right. Hazou only needs to make it work once, and then his bloodline lets him time it perfectly every time.
Pretty sure that one wasn't me. Was it... @huhYeahGoodPoint ?

While I too like to claim credit for ideas that aren't mine, faflec found the first one.

Honestly, I maintain that that supersonic macerator delivery method is still strictly inferior to Zephyr's Rifle (take a paper disk, mount macerator on end, one end of the LBF on the disk and another outside, spin disk ludicrously fast, wave something between the disk and LBF to fire)

What happens if a shadow clone screws up a seal in a fatal or otherwise very bad way? Does it just kill the clone?

Ah, so it's not a reliable way of insulating yourself from the personal dangers of seal research. Figured, but worth checking.

So I just started watching the anime for the first time and something I notice is that the anime has an obviously post-industrial level of tech. That was changed for this quest, then, to something medieval-ish?

Also, what do those red swirls the adult ninja have on their outfits represent? Fire country?

Edit: Oh, and what's that thing on Naruto's shoulder?

If something unspeakable and lovecraftian happens you might be pretty screwed if you get the memories back.

If your clone is gibbering it's probably not a good idea to reabsorb it, yeah.

Yes. Basically schizo tech was absurd for a number of reasons, and so was nixed entirely so that the setting could make sense.

Kishimoto doesn't think before he includes things. Period.

No, I haven't read any of the manga. Reading my entire way through this quest was my first introduction to Naruto.

I started with the first episode of the first anime, not part 2, so I can't speak to whether it's on drugs yet.

Oh, what's with the crystal ball the Hokage has?

May I suggest continuing on with the play by play in discord or in a separate thread so that things don't get too cluttered or derailed?
