So about the chakra monster farms, why do you want to farm them instead of just harvesting the hordes of them in the countryside that need killing anyway? And how would you safely contain and feed chakra monsters?

I suppose you'd have to pick a species carefully. It can't be something that only lives on people or blood or something else equally inconvenient. Can anyone think of any chakra monster herbivores? I can't. Having to raise cattle to feed the chakra monsters is a really resource intensive prospect.

Edit: Maybe wild cabbage? I'm not sure if it needs meat or just wants it. It seems like it isn't too terribly dangerous if it got out, like armed civilians would be able to handle it.

Convenience. We don't have to go out to get the chakra if we have them all penned in a central area.

The containment/feeding is obviously more difficult, though if we found some sort of herbivorous chakra monster that uses its enhancements as defense...

Something tell me that this will be nothing but pain for a clan of only six people.
 
What's 5SB wire?

Wild cabbage might grow like a plant, not sure if it needs supplementary meat in its diet. Still, with all the chakra monsters out there that need killing I'm not sure we need to think about farming any time soon.

Five Seal Barrier is a five-seal set (four surrounding, one on the object in question) seal that can render immobile and invulnerable objects that the central seal is attached to. It lasts 30 days, notably.
 
Ah, I didn't know you could attach five seal barrier seals to a wire. I figured it'd have to be something big enough to attach the five seals to.

All this talk about penning chakra monsters keeps making me think about what happened with the raptor pens in Jurassic Park. It seems like one of those acts of hubris that inevitably gets your face eaten.
 
All I am saying that this chakra farm idea will be harder to manage and cost more than you think initially, especially for a clan of six people.

I would be very dissapointed in Kagome if he let our faces get eaten.

I know we have a lot of income from Keiko's deal with the Pangolins, but I've also heard things about Jiraiya needing to spend a lot of money on Goketsu and Leaf interests. It might be likely that in the next few months we'll soon have a large surplus of money as our income overtakes our expenses in a big way.

Pay off our mortgage and get our house renovated.

Then invest.

(We need to set up tipserator bars with the Yakuza for clandestine interactions and as a source of revenue )
 
You know, we could probably sell those gems through some foreign yakuza group (perhaps a friendly one) in order to devalue the country's native currency. I wonder if there's a country in particular who we would like to be dependent on Leaf economically. :whistle:
