@eaglejarl Clarification for the last chapter's plan (my fault here): When I was mentioning draining techniques, what I meant was "drain them as they are being used" (like, mid-handseals) not "drain them after they are used" -- the kind of stuff that could be really dangerous to practice because it'd make a jutsu blow up in someone's face.

On that note, as far as we know (and this goes to you, @faflec too :p) can Noburi drain from a specific tenketsu (insofar as those are things in MfD)? This question would probably lead to an answer to the other.

If he can we-the-hivemind don't know it.

Also are we all set on having the entire team get up to stealth 15 or do we want to try any other builds?

Remind me where Hazō's getting information about the Minami Clan from?
Oh no, I was hoping you-the-GMs had finished your worldbuilding so you could give us the conversation we had in the last Action Plan: that is, the discussion regarding how we should respond to Minami knowing about Noburi's Mist Drain.

I see. Unfortunately, I'm still away and in no position to participate in extended discussions (but on the plus side, I've got my 11-year-old sister addicted to Naruto). The question does stand, though - if we finish the worldbuilding regarding the Minami Clan, how will you gain access to the resulting information?

Um, I don't see how it matters?

What I want is for Hazou and co. to have that conversation about Noburi's Mist Drain being leaked to Minami-the-team-leader, which was stated to have happened; however @eaglejarl has stated that you-the-GMs can't give us that information yet because you haven't finished the worldbuilding. So I am asking if said worldbuilding is done or not such that the GMs can figure out what Hazou and co. said and give us-the-hivemind this information.

OK, I may or may not have a better idea of what's going on now. (I've been sleeping even worse than normal over here, so forgive my denseness.)

I assume that, for reasons similar to monkeys writing the works of Shakespeare, that if we cause sufficient sealing failures, one of otherworldy denizens we summon will create seals.

Does that count?
Even if you're right, long before you get to the seal-making denizen, you'll have been killed a dozen times by omnicidal denizens.

Maybe I'm missing something, but it seems strange to me that we ever allow ourselves to have unspent XP. It seems to me like XP don't do us any good until they're spent, and so a moment with an unspent XP is a wasted moment--a moment when that XP is not working for us. Am I mistaken?

Most of the time we aren't using most of what we use our XP on. Hazou doesn't roll Taijutsu very much, for instance, even though it tends to be really important when he does. Unused XP is also flexible XP, since we can apply it to whatever stat's most important at the time we decide to train.

If we got more XP per day based on how much we've spent, or a penalty to XP gain for having tons of unspent XP, I'd agree with you, but the only downside to keeping a modest amount of XP in reserve is the situation in which we don't get time to train and also fail by a very small amount, which doesn't measure up against the potential to, with a day or two to train, be slightly better at any one thing we might need.

Are you saying you want to increase the QMs' power and creativity by 50% again?

No.

According to the first post, when this quest started, we had a QM dedicated to mechanics and another dedicated to worldbuilding. I wasn't around back then, but that sounds like a good idea.

What I'm trying to say is that I'd like to increase the QMs' power and creativity by 2/3 > 50%.

Also because we can't always spend the XP, due to in-story reasons like having no time.

Well even if we did Noburi and Kei have 50+ exp so can work on that
IIRC we've been trying to do training since we left Konoha, to no avail. :(

Aaaaanyway, figured I might as well do training plans on the assumption we didn't get it done last time.

*Note: We have 4XP more than the current listing on character sheets, because the GMs haven't logged the XP reward for Chapter 132.

I'm probably misunderstanding, but I thought that you needed lvl 10 before you could train something with a teacher (Inoue-sensei, in this case) and Roki is only lvl 9.

Roki is a Taijutsu style Hazou developed pretty much on his own, so I'm pretty sure it's fine. Also, that's only the case for exotic things like Medicine, Sealing, and Technique Hacking: we've been able to do lots of self-training in techniques like Water Release: Hozuki's Mantle, Wind Release: Vacuum Step, and Akane's own Taijutsu style, Youthful Fist of the Mythological Beast That is Really Strong and Tough.
