More usefully, where is a list of seals that we have access to? How can we kill everyone half the elemental nations the entirety of rain amegakure all the akatsuki our targets with those seals? Can we get directed force seals that obey Newton's third Law for literal Iron Man suits better TacMov?

E: just realized minaturized force walls are the answer. Holy shit ignoring physics is absolutely wonderful

More seriously though, I think I have something here as basically a fast team transport device that doesn't require skywalkers. Give me a bit to complete it.

I just caught up again man I can't re-read the entire thing. So that means Kagome has no idea who any of the members might be? He worked in some super secret high level intelligence so he should be able to recognize some high rank ninja by the description Jiraiya gives (gave).
 
Man, I am really worried about being out there in the field for a few weeks. At least skywalkers make us really hard to track and chunin-level in tactical movement.
 
I don't think we should plan to do R&D or sealwork while on the mission here. This is a crisis situation, and Jiraiya wants us getting the messages out as fast as possible. That means if we have time outside of basic needs, we should be using it to move.

There probably isn't anything wrong with bringing the tools with us, because storage scrolls, but we shouldn't plan to sit around making seals when we could be getting those messages delivered.

A ragtag bunch of former missing-nin countermanding the orders of their Hokage on the first mission they've been assigned, to complete their own personal agenda...even though the Hokage already gave his word with regards to actually doing this?

Being part of Leaf (not just physically in Leaf) means we listen to the boss. That's the price we pay for having greater safety: lesser freedoms.
 
Mommy might be dead. Or maybe the Mizukage don't trust her enough to bring her on the mission. She could be doing a mission that is completely separate.

Whatever the case, we cannot be thinking about rescuing Hana. The ninja world is in trouble, and there is an Enemy of the World on the loose.

Blitzkreig situation makes things more dangerous. I would not be surprised if, after killing the jinchuriki and resealing the bijuu in an appropriate host, they immediately go out against other jinchuriki/villages. If they haven't already.

Really worried about getting spotted here.

Yes, it continues in all three dimensions. It has a slight upward movement to begin with, and then accelerates because of increased downward force increasing the upward force (thanks forcewall!) which then accelerates until we bodily lift ourselves off the floor and into the ceiling, at which point we will decelerate against gravity. If you want to move in a direction, have everyone push on the opposing forcewall. Force walls on both sides of the frame are so that the force wall seals remain, although we are going to be at high risk at anything under cloud level (hey, what's that flying metal frame?). Replacing the seals in midair is going to be a hell of a bad time, but we can use the frame as a doubled skybase when the seals finally give out. Having footrests on the frame is a good idea that Akane with MechApt should be able to point out near instantly, and now we have a skyranger, with skywalker backups. Admittedly, this is much harder to hide, but we can always just drop it into the ocean.

I really hope that we can miniaturize force walls. I want that to be Kagome's next priority after the Zephyr's Reach Rifles (artillery pieces?). Then test out whether force walls will cut other force walls if perpendicular. If they don't, well, force wall armor for flight suits, no skywalker required. Holy shit we'd become literal flying mages with that. If force walls cannot be miniaturized, then hopefully some of the other seals that we learn should do interesting things.

Yes, this is true. It does not mean that we should be the ones to do this. Nor does it mean we should be doing it right now since Leaf just lost its Kage, Jinchuriki, and 11 ANBU in a single day.

Is the idea that when you pull the trigger the wheel goes forward at exactly the moment to make the seal connect with the LBF and simultaneously triggers the LBF to activate the storage seal? Because if so I'm going to save us all some time and say "no way in hell will that work". Getting the LBF seal and the storage seal to perfectly align like that is just not going to happen, and that's leaving aside all the engineering issues.

Also have a proposal for Banshee seals and Hazou's macerator rings
Banshees provide a -2 penalty on all characters effected by them for there next action.
Macerator Rings provide Hazou a +3 bonus when using them and allow him to make taijutsu actions from mid range

Thank you for the suggestions on the rules -- seriously, it's really helpful to us when people chip in on this stuff. The only thing we ask is:

1) Don't metagame.
2) Make it balanced.
3) Before throwing it over the wall to us, please have the hivemind try to break it so your poor overburdened GMs don't have to burn cycles looking for what problems it will cause.

The macerators you have will exert up to 50MPa of force. That's enough to chop up granite but not all kinds of wood. (NB: 50Mpa == 7251 psi)
 
once we on the mission we can make our own calls. So if an opportunity presents itself we can try to save mom. Regardless we should ask if Jiriyia saw anyone who matched her description
