Hazo has something like 70 hours in a day, Kei is around 80. Noburi is still at a regular 24 hours. Mari is possibly much higher than even Akane at 84. Her Resolve skill level is unknown.

ACE doesn't speed up FOOM, but it also doesn't slow it down. It helps us mainly be allowing us to chakra boost more than before. The extra CP for jutsu and whatnot is just the cherry on top, as a clan of mostly summoners needs higher CR in order to summon the strongest summons.

What would an 80 cap build look like? Having a hard time picturing. Resolve cap. Sealing and Alertness second row. Taijutsu, Althetics and ??? third row starts breaking down.

New rules make a stronger case to go ninjutsu shopping with Noburi than before. Interested in trying to bargain with the Sharks or Kisame and collaborating with Naruto on possibilities of high cost techs. Something to boost Resolve appeals with slower growing pyramids. Good to find out how Lee's 8 Gates works and what it would take for him to share. Has the space been explored for a CR expanding ninjutsu? Spend 100CP to expand pool by 50CP for 10 minutes. Would only be useful for shinobi who could refill their pool with time to prepare before combat. Cheats out higher cost summons.

Send Mari on a mission to acquire a Blood tracker from Hot Spring. Track blood on Jiraiya's clothes to find him in Naraka.
 
I mean... Hidan is almost certainly a member of that clan.

Just realized Naruto will be getting this news about his dad on Father's day... and neither Hazou nor Asuma's fathers are around anymore either

All S-rankers are by definition exceptions, and are created bespoke every time. The pyramid rules cover the typical use cases (genin-jounin) best. S-rankers get special jutsu, stunts, etc.

So based it seems like we will hit s-rank once we fill in our pyramids and pick up one or two more tricks. Especially since we already have a bunch of tricks that are S-level or incredibly close to being S-level
 
More like: piramids will not turn you into a s raker alone so you need some special weapon to do it, be senjutsu, bio sealing or even just a special technique that is a battle ending on most cases. Be a S ranker is about having that soecial cool trick because the jounin threshold is when you really hit diminishing returns.
 
I haven''t read this quest in a loooooooong time, I stopped reading at chapter 119 and now I'm back and the first thing kagome does is dropping truth veiled in a bunch of conspiracy, I am fully invested in this again while having way less knowledge of the MFD setting then I had when I stopped, I think I'm just gonna keep reading until I catch up in like a month and then go back if I need to 10/10 sucker punch making you questioning reality from a unreliable source. would read again

Could this starchart accounting be incorporated into a seal? Normal to account for everything in the research phase, then standardize every activation so any shinobi could do it. Is there a benefit to downgrading seals to require consulting starcharts to activate at risk of breaking? More activations before degrading because each activation is tuned to specific circumstances rather than generic?

Kurosawas who visited it when it was fresher maybe faced worse. Mission hook? If there is a Nagi-crippled Kurosawa being kept in a basement we could offer to help or take custody. Other lead, hunting for prototypes in Rain.

100% agree. You need a baseline level of strength to just be able to survive against the amount of force thrown out at high levels. Once you hit that baseline you need an edge to take you over the top. We have a few that are close to that edge. Our crazy strong buff stack, having 4 summoning scrolls, Skywalkers (though they are weaker now compared to when we invented them), multiple armor jutsu and, MARS. If we can add in even one or two more tricks that should take us over the edge
 
a problem I've noticed when reading this quest's updates for the first time today as opposed to when they were originally written is that you can't read the discussion between the updates at all. I'm currently at what the wiki is calling "the minami incident" and the discussion doesn't reflect the update at all because of all the edits. chapter 128 specifically was updated 2 years after the post first was made and a lot of what seems like important discussion pieces wasn't even in the version of the chapter I got to read. So I can't even understand the process that lead too the chapter turning out the way it did and specific comments made by players that aren't their any longer, until I hopefully see a comment made 2 irl years later in the thread I presume.

TLDR binge reading this quest is confusing because of the limited information presented both in quest and irl OoC being unreliable after the fact another clear cut example I'll quote

This had me confused and as Im writing this I realize that I might just not be paranoid enough yet for after my recent return to reading this quest, but this was also edited so I have no idea if I can even take Shneddly's post at face value or if the QM's forgot to give details that the questers needed. Either way it's hard to get a feel for both the thread at the time and the thought process because I don't read the same things they do and Im not gonna read the 6000+ pages needed to get the full context I need.

Anyway this is a me problem that I'm hopefully alone with as a semi new reader, and since this quest is legitimately almost 2.5 times as long as the entire harry potter series, only counting the actual story updates it would be crazy to expect it to be easy to join...

this is a great quest I'm just a little confused and doesn't want to spoil stuff for my self any more then I've already done. As I said I'm only at chapter 128 and I managed to semi spoil and skim the wiki about "the battle for nagi island" which sounds crazy to me and it's barley at the half point of where the quest currently are...so yeah

Thanks bro, who knew that quoting an entire update would be a good thing someimes

edit: yiiiiiikes that's really screwed up and I can't even be mad because it makes sense in and out of universe with how the quest was set up, if had been participating at the time I would probably have left the quest and become a salt sheik though.

This quest is special in the best kind of way, I really mean it. Why did I come back when I literally haven't been here since 2017? because I from time to time remembered snippets of chapter 46 for years
