[X] Dog scroll: Hazō

As per my previous analysis, there's more utility in having Hazou be the Dog Summoner, and I agree with my past self.

Eaglejarl specifically wants to write this.

If we are going to use meta reasons to campaign for votes, do you also have an assurance that the Dogs will accept Hazou without issue - or rather with the same ease they would as if we gave it to Akane?

Because it'd suck for both players and EJ to find out that they don't get along due to being the key player in supporting the Pangolin war machine.

She's going to be busy helping Kagome out
Isn't this a plus? Now Asuma knows that any mission Akane goes on is less time spent decoding. This then leads him to limiting the amount of missions, (only sending her on vital ones) increasing Akane's life expectancy.

[X] Dog Scroll: Haru
Haru doesn't have the responsiblities of being a clan head or has to work on decoding. Haru can focus full time on the 7th path.

1. That's a pretty convincing argument for me.
2. Your vote is missing a bracket. Might want to fix that.

[X] Dog Scroll: Haru

You are missing the [ , so the vote won't register.

And a friendly reminder that Haru hasn't proven himself yet as an asset or just being trustworthy enough to get a scroll. Our long-standing Team Uplift members have.

This is the guy whose loyalty lies with the Hokage first and Hazou second, make of that what you will. Please don't make the mistake of treating NPCs as people without their own motivations.

And we know very little about the guy that's not him being generally grumpy, aside from the loyalty thing mentioned above.

QMs enjoy writing missions. We enjoy reading them. QMs getting what they like leads to more XP and less salt. So, not really, no.

I would like to note that giving the Scroll to Haru over Akane is going to snub the latter. It'd make sense if we keep it for ourselves, but how is it going to look if, given a choice between two formerly-clanless clanmates, we chose someone we knew for a couple of months who'd almost gotten us killed over Akane? And if we're giving it to random people instead of those who are absolutely loyal to us...

[X] Dog Scroll: Yuno

It'd at least be kind of funny.

[X] Dog scroll: Akane

Because she already has such huge Big Dog Energy that it just makes too much sense. Upbeat, energetic, revitalizing, and she can knock you the fuck over: she is already a human Labrador.

Incidentally, if the Cats are any indication, the Dog Clan is likely to take a broader view of 'Dog' than what we might initially think. It might be in practice a 'canine' clan with 'dog' focus.

What other animals are canine but not strictly dog? Wolf is the obvious inclusion, but there's also coyotes, jackals, and even foxes! It's impossible to say right now whether all of these are part of the Dog clan, but it's worth keeping in mind that we might be meeting with coyotes and foxes as much as wolves and dogs.

"We were the elite of the elite!" Panjandrum said. "A top secret unit under my command, responsible for most of the great unacknowledged feats of Pangolin Clan derring-do! It was we who stopped the Bear incursion at Big Rock. It was we who negotiated a settlement with the Rat Clan, and who made the Jackal Clan's spymaster weep like a little cub! Yes, those were the days!"
May not be true if the Jackal Clan is a separate clan from the Dog Clan, though it's also possible that they've split up like the Cats and Leopards.

@eaglejarl @Velorien @OliWhail Timeline update:
All these chapters took place around the same time. Chronologically, Chapter 346 took place during Chapter 344 (as in, started and ended within 344's timeframe), 345 took place directly after 344, and 347 after 345.
Thank you! Bounty awarded, timeline updated, chapter updated with FP / XP awards, character sheets updated.

Wait.

We can just check the Nara library to see if there's any usually-useless chakra reserves-improving technique there that Noburi can use to cast shadow clone.

While I'm super stoked for library delving, and I'm hopeful that this would work, Nob's issue is with his physiology. Such a jutsu may be incompatible with his chakra system.
