I mean, most people cannot trivially vomit on command and I don't immediately see reason to assume Hazou should be an exception if the Iron Nerve isn't in play.
Don't actually care. It can be treason all it wants to be treason
e: I mean, we already sent a care package of explosives to our teammates from the fifth event.
Hey, did you know that Hazou's adoptive father is the dictator of Leaf and could in fact give us permission to do this?I mean, that was before that we could plausibly argue that it wasn't foreseeable that Leaf might take issue with the Leaf Royal Clan donating absurd amounts of precious military hardware to hostile foreign states without authoriza- fine. Horses and barns it is.
Hey, did you know that Hazou's adoptive father is the dictator of Leaf and could in fact give us permission to do this?
I mean, we, uh, do, yes? In both plans. Is anybody planning to mention the whole, "In less than a month the entire world is probably going to fucking burn", thing?
It seems as if it might be kinda important.
The charcoal eating might have been important, depending on whether there was actually anything in the food.Immediately vomit up food into bucket.
- Seal for later.
- Drink water.
Both plans have something to the effect of "report the meeting exactly to Jiraiya".
Thank you!

[X] Action Plan: Debriefings and Doctorings
- Immediately vomit up that food.
- Puke it into a bucket. Store it in a seal for later.
- Eat charcoal. Drink water.
- Debrief Jiraiya
- OPSEC: Follow his lead.
- Recount everything, word for word, gesture by gesture.
- Be objective and factual.
- Afterwards, politely offer own analysis and conclusions.
- Analysis:
- Kept us off balance permanently by switching personas, altering narrative to her advantage.
- Knew about Ghost Scales coverup, connection to Yakuza.
- Subtly showcased ways to destroy us yet executed at a level we could barely overcome.
- Offer to buy your soul, killing intent, seduction attempt, rapport, etc...
- Topics avoided
- Biggest secrets: time as missing-nin, Skywalkers, CSK.
- Keiko
- Current Mist/Leaf politics.
- Verifiable facts and concrete offers:
- Yukizome story
- Offer to test out uplift ideas.
- Cannot guess what level she's playing beyond that.
- Conclusions:
- Extremely talented, bloodline proficiency far exceeding Keiko's.
- Proactive in procuring favors.
- Possibly acting in good faith due to avoidance of more effective topics/methods
- Need to up our game. Significantly.
- Ask permission:
- Get full check up by medic.
- For contact-poison, poisoned food, etc.
- Talk to Hana about Kurosawa stuff.
- Possible to get secret Kurosawa body language training?
- Ask about Ren's attitude towards us/odds of getting permission for training mentioned above.
- Spend the rest of the day hanging out with Noburi
- Hazou's thoughts
- Noburi always struggled with self esteem issues. His loss to Hinata must be especially hard on him.
- He's always avoided the topic of his family. Maybe he feels especially ashamed before them?
- He did specifically mention his sisters. Perhaps he misses them, but is afraid of rejection?
- Commiserate with Noburi on being out of the tournament.
- Good thing Keiko didn't scar us because that'd make winning back Akane harder (serious tone, resolute expression).
- Once Noburi has suffered enough trying to gently tell us not to get our hopes up, admit it was joke.
- So... how scary are all the kunoichi we know?
- Gently bring up his family. No pressure.
- He mentioned being upset his sisters didn't talk to him after his match.
- Wanna talk about it? Plans to visit them?
- Maybe it's better to see his family on his own terms?
- In any case, Hazou has his back, and is willing to go pretty damn far to help.

I put this back in, actually. The charcoal eating might have been important, depending on whether there was actually anything in the food.
Is anybody planning to mention the whole, "In less than a month the entire world is probably going to fucking burn", thing?
It seems as if it might be kinda important.
She could have just been lying to signal a sense of urgency to force Hazou to accept her bargain.
Or she is speaking the truth but that doesn't mean she isn't exaggerating, or that it would involve us, or some other possibilities.
In any case, we don't know the real reason and I am very suspicious about the fact that she didn't expand on it once we didn't take the bait.
Best thing to do is keep calm and let Jiraiya deal with it after we have told him word by word what happened.
"Humanity is not only doomed but I don't personally care and the entire world is about to burn so intensely that despite having more than a month of forewarning and Kage-level skills and resources I probably won't be able to keep it from killing me, so you should accept my buy-in to your plan with an ROI measured in centuries."
?
She has lied about so many things and consistently manipulated Hazou during their meeting but somehow that particular bit is now entirely truthful and we should do - what exactly? If she wanted to tell us what the problem was, she would have. Because she knew we would report to Jiraiya. And either way, this is way above our competence level to deal with.
[X] Action Plan: Debriefings and Doctorings
The point is more what the GMs are going to infer about Hazou's priorities. Right now it looks as if he's going to explicitly focus on the armor leak, yakuza link, seduction attempt, uplift offer, potential poisoning, personal development, and, oh yeah, if Jiraiya happens to notice it, maybe also perhaps the imminent apocalypse.
I mean we're just floating the idea by the J man. It's not like we're going to actually have this conversation with Hana or Ren this update. Why would Ren obliges to let Hana teaches Hazō Kurosawa body language?
Is that pretty much the only thing we're going to do?
We'll go to Ren and she pretty much says, "nope!" What then?
I mean we're just floating the idea by the J man. It's not like we're going to actually have this conversation with Hana or Ren this update.
