    Uh-huh, so the Five empowered the Sage to go do things for them, but they were totally not at all like all the other Old Gods who empowered humans to go do things for them.

    Broadly fits with my previous speculations about the Sage and his companions being empowered by a subset of the local cosmic horrors to go clear out all the other local cosmic horrors, with him then going overboard and trying to clean out his patrons as well.

    Fit with the Voices/Shards being imprisoned on the other Paths.

    No idea what to make of that one. Nice to get some creation story at last (rather than just the downfall story), but it's kind of... Really generic? Doesn't connect with anything else, seems like just your typical mythology ascribing cosmological importance to the sun and the moon, plus a coy reference to canon. (Worth keeping an eye on, though, obviously.)
