So basicaly what hapened with hazo?
Hazou was yanked into an invasion force because Shikigami (the guy who proposed the mission) wanted to set up his own fiefdom and needed decent ninja to pull it off, people who were valuable immediately or in the future. The 'invasion' was his excuse to get them all out of Mist, after which point he would fake the situation seen in the OP and send us all to be missing-nin.

Didn't work out, but that was the gist of his plan.

Yeah i know the joke was if we send genin to a warzone they could create another hazo, the world cant take only one of those at the time.

HAZOU: I'm here to save the world by committing war crimes!
NOTZOU: Me too!
HAZOU: *glares*
NOTZOU: *glares*

And so, the world ended. Time to roll up a new character and a new universe!

Nara: "So, you have a seal which evenly disperses a fine mist of liquid over a wide area with imbued momentum?"

Hazou: "...yes?"

Nara: "-and, you have multiple types of seals which predictably concentrate and emit oxidizers on command."

Hazou: "...yes?"

Nara: "So, what happens if you fill a few misterators with boiling lead, wrap them around a few oxidizer seals, and wrap those around an explosive tag?"

Hazou: "..."

Kagome: "I like him. Let's keep him."

Akane: "I miss Blotchy and being explosion-proof. Let's go see if we can find him."

Also Tsunade needs to get to the front lines right fucking yesterday. The golden hour is important and wielding skywalkers from a skytower observation post right behind the combat she can make a lot of difference.

Besides, it will be hilarious to watch Rock try to deal with the unkillable demigoddess of punching things which exhaust her patien(ts)ce.

More later.

Welcome! Lovely to have you. How did you find out about us?
Pretty sure it was from wandering the quests forum after finishing the main quest that dragged me into SV, but it was quite a while, a year and then some, the lurker hole was comfy.
Could also be from r/rational, seems to recall a few old recommendation from there, but I'm not certain.

Okay, next thing. This isn't happening in a vacuum. Leaf is notorious for being the least-bullying village to the point that after the death of the Fourth the Third practically ran himself ragged running around shoring up trade relationships with other nations and it's on pretty good terms with the Minor Nations Alliance, which the Gouketsu have some personal clout with important members of after making sure they (and, by bribe, barely) Mist were the only ones to make it to the tournament and their current patriarch made headlines by publicly lecturing all five kage about the important of humanitarianism and compassion before the assembled world.

Speaking of which, Leaf has shared most-favored-trading status with River if for no other reason that to secure a trade corridor with their ally Sand, who isn't doing well at the moment, but might be willing to let a Leaf assault team pass through their territory to loop around and flank the common enemy Rock from an unexpected direction after Leaf has suffered two catastrophic unprovoked attacks from them in under a year and is under current active attack. Gee, if only there were a team with experience in Snow and autonomous wilderness operations (or burning significant fractions of entire continents multiple times) who could use it to simultaneously loop around from the North and attack deep behind their lines from another unexpected direction...

Then there's Mist, who are at least a nominal ally and know that if Leaf is weakened too much Lightning has extremely solid geopolitical reasons to join in by first wrecking their extraordinarily valuable investment in Hot Springs to secure their trade avenues, which would push them off the continent while also humiliating them as the protectors of a steadfastly neutral territory. What is Zabuza and now Ami's friend doing nowadays? Any chance she might be able to serve as an introduction to her homeland of Snow or the independant organization of biosealers she tapped to save his life?

Then there's Lightning, which knows all of this and doesn't want its hand suddenly forced against multiple major powers it has just recently signed important trade deals with at the exams while being ruled by a guy who literally owes his life to the defenders and a woman who can serve as a backchannel for negotiations through the summon path. Kagome was born there and got pretty high up in the intelligence department of either it or yet another nation which could be brought in. What was it, double-black clearance?

Also, worth talking to Hidan, who's had some recent experience with Rock. Also Deidara, who we want the autograph of anyway and has their own potential reasons to not be happy with Rock (boy, wouldn't it be fun to leave them with Kagome in a room with directions to figure out how to nuke Rock?) Hell, Itachi isn't exactly happy with Hazou at the moment, but he's proven a commitment to listening to reason, a commitment to supporting his comrades, has spoken about having little time left to live anyway and sincerely seeking penance, and Leaf has already pardoned Orochimaru for public service, so it's credible that Leaf could offer to at least allow him to buried at home with standard rituals and honors after he passes.

Then we know at least two yakuza organizations which are capable of contacting hiring significantly powerful missing-nin for service and which probably have contacts and information in the hyperfactionalized mess that is the smouldering remains of the Rock yakuza network....

More later.

Ok i need to stop you there, we cant involve akatsuki every elemental nation hates them if news that they are working to fire everyone will gang up on us. Theres no prodigial return to them on the elental nations. Unless madara shows up.

Hidan is already involved, it's completely plausible that Deidara who stole secrets and went missing from Rock before he tried to murder his own kage father while he was trying to to murder Deidara would jump in all on his own for reasons which have nothing to do with Leaf, and nobody needs to know that Itachi has been promised a future burial.

Also, Orochimaru wasn't exactly widely popular with anybody and was also a member of Akatsuki, and Leaf pardoned him without any (international) blowback.

This is war. Nobody is going to throw a tantrum over the peaceful victim of a second unprovoked surprise attack in under a year protecting itself by pointing out, "hey, our guns are bigger." If anything, they're probably more paranoid about Rock pulling another unprovoked Rockfall incident against them at the first convenience and would breathe a sigh of relief at knowing they were geopolitically neutered for a while.

Plausible deniability.
How then? I mean unleash deidara on rock would be efective but how we make that the other nations dont track them down to us.

Yeah Oro did not kill every kage outside of mizu and all but 2 jinjukiris qnd a shit ton of jounins on one go.

The is like you side with al caeda right afther 9/11 on USA, uless you jave a treath like jersey (madara) i realy think it wont fly, hazo can ask asuma priavtely (in where nobody but him can hear hazo) since he have the finger on the geopolitical pulse of the ninja world but even that is pushing.

Also, Kakuzu will do anything for money. Nobody is going to be surprised the Leaf is rich or blame the defender in an unprovoked war for hiring whoever they need to to survive.

Who's going to believe that Akatsuki, the scourge of the Elemental Nations, is taking orders from a naive 15-year-old.

Ordinarily a good argument, but far too many prominent figures have actually met Hazou. Let's stick to why individual Akatsuki members would plausibly be getting involved without implicating Leaf.

-or, just kill all the witnesses. Either-or.

HIDAN: That's right, ya infidels! Taste destruction in tha name o' Uplift, and Goketsu Hazou!
ROCK: wait, what?

Yeah, cat's kinda out of the bag on that one.

If they can use it as a excuse to kick fire while they are down and grab the farmlands... More than ypu would expect

Who? Seriously, who? Sand is a well-established ally, Mist is a publicly known ally with solid reasons to not want Leaf to fall, Lightning is ruled by a guy who is only alive because of Leaf and doesn't want to be suddenly forced into an unnecessary fight with major powers in a world war, the minor nations don't have the power to independently try something without getting smacked a lot harder than it's worth nor the organization to combine arms (there is a great deal of difference between a mutual defense pact and a co-belligerenct military alliance) and they like and profit from both the status quo and Leaf more than any of the other major powers, we're already talking about recruiting Akatsuki and missing-nin mercs in general.

That leaves... who?

Trying to hire the Akatsuki may bring issues inside Konoha, on the other hand (esp. w/Sasuke).
