Now I want an omake of our characters suddenly acting as if what happened in the omake actually happened, but in canon. Akane and the villagers are maximally confused.

EagleJarl's bot counts all votes so we get to vote for multiple plans over several posts. Voting rules are at the bottom of first post.

Really?
We're voting with X's rather than numbers so I would assume that it's not approval voting and also that his previous vote got overwritten.

Approval voting doesn't require ranking, just "I approve of this".

You really should take a look at the bottom of this post so that you know how the system works.

Poor guy must take an age.

Nah, I wrote a bot that counts it for me.

Eh, I'm just not sure I understand.
All votes count unless you do a post with [-] to cancel it?
How is priority considered? Most recent = most approval? Or does your bot manage to find common themes about keeping warm?

After some discussion, we bring you the following insight into the minds of two thirteen-year-old boys on the auspicious occasion of Inoue-sensei wrapping Kagome around her little finger and Keiko getting all jealous and territorial.

Hazō: "Why is she angry at Inoue-sensei being nice to Kagome-sensei? She's never met Kagome-sensei before except for that one incident. Is she still mad at him for nearly blowing up the team?

"Besides, she must know Inoue-sensei's just doing her social manipulation thing, right?"

Noburi: "Yeah, I get where you're coming from, Keiko, but maybe tone it down a bit? You don't see me glaring whenever you're ignoring me because you're totally focused on Inoue-sensei.

"Well, at least now you know what it feels like.

"Sigh. I should probably be feeling more sorry for her than this."

Approval voting means a different thing here. Just read the post EJ linked, and maybe take a look at some tally. Plan with most votes wins, but you can vote for more than one.

Just read the post EJ linked,
Boy that had never occurred to me. Perhaps I should have read that rather than asking for clarification based on things I didn't understand that I had just presumed.

I am not sure what causes your confusion.
My confusion is that Cariyaga is saying that its not approval voting.

Anyway my sarcasm level is getting too high so I'm going to have to step away for a while. If someone can give an answer to these questions, then I hope we can put this to bed.

I know we tend to have *ahem* some confusion surrounding our voting but this discussion ranks pretty high up there at least in hilarity.

We are doing approval voting.

When Cariyaga said "simple majority" he meant "The thing that's voted for the most times wins". Simple Majority as a term is used to mean some other things too but that's what he was after.

And it is an accurate description of what happens in our votes. Everyone votes for as many things as they want and then the QMs pick the option with most votes.

In the case of a tie, they either extend the voting time or just pick the one they like best (read: the shortest one.)

Omake: Reverse summoning considered harmful
"This is a terrible idea, Hazou."

"Keiko, you just don't understand sealing."

"Kagome does, and he ran away screaming."

"When does he not?"

"...point. But it's still a really awful idea."

Hazou made his finishing brushstrokes and inspected his work. "Oh come on, what's the- not finishing that sentence."

"Look. I understand that you want your own summoning contract, but don't you think this is going a bit far?"

"All it's going to do is send a message to the summon plane asking if anyone wants to make a contract with me. It won't even summon them! Where's the harm?"

Keiko gave him a look. "Do you want me to use my bloodline? I could give you a full list."

"Urgh. Do not care. Doing it anyway." Hazou slammed his hands on the now dried ink. There was a bright blue glow.

"Your account has been banned. Reason: spam (sending an infinite number of friend requests). Your ban will expire: never."

"What."

And then Hazou ceased to exist.

So another priority I think we should work on getting is some type of sensory jutsu. I have been doing a bit of research on jutsu used within Naruto to form the backbone of my double/half velocity seals and early on in the list I am using it references Garra creating an eye out of sand for use while he is within his sand sphere. OK sure that could just be tailed beast stuff, but would not the nation that contained the tailed beast try and replicate his tricks and teach it to their own ninja? Learning how chakra beasts do their things and adapting it would be very much in line with this world, yeah?

Jiraiya has his toads to act as scouts and I am thinking that we could do similar things with our own summons if/when we obtain them, but having other options or a wider spectrum to draw from would be nothing but good for us. We might have the processing power to do human echolocation[1] if we can selectively enhance our ears and make a clicking noise. With our bloodline power giving us all the information of stored actions to do the combat that we do we could have the processing power to overcome our sight and learn to do human echolocation to give a short range omniscience of the things physically around us.
