1) I know that, But I recall that some people disagreed and wants to know why.

2) No, I understand that, but I don't actually know what it's supposed to be for.
For 2, you mean what the trap is supposed to be used for?

It creates a literal trapdoor that causes people to fall a foot down into a pit.

Cascading dirt from the fall triggers an LBF with a Goo bomb attached, so theyll be Goo-ed nigh instantaneously if theyre standing on it.

@Adept_Woodwright proposed we cover the safe path + a bit of a wider box shaped area near its entrance in these, so that we can pull one large strand of ninja wire (attached to small ones on the force wall seals possibly) to activate them all simultaneously.

Tl;dr Imagine we have turned all the zones in the front portion of the """safe""" path as well as a large box shaped region beyond it into shallow, Team Rocket style pitfall traps that we can activate at will and that explode with goo as soon as we do.

The last thing he remembered was that insane ninjutsu of Uzumaki's going through his defences like they were made of butter. But the boy had hesitated, just for a moment, as a shadow clone elsewhere unexpectedly popped.

So I'm very intrigued by this little bit here. I know Naruto is stupid strong in the MfD verse but just how strong is he to make Zabuza the equivalent of an academy student? What was his insane ninjutsu? What was the distraction that saved Zabuza's life? Aaaahhhhh Velorien! I need answers!

To minimize activation complexity (at expense of some set-up complexity) I suggest only having one ninja wire which takes out one force wall, which happens to be supporting the seal for another force wall (which falls, taking out the next in the chain, and so on)

But essentially yes. Depth probably doesn't need to be a foot - just enough for LBF+bomb, force wall on top, and dirt cover.

If possible, could you or someone else write a tl;dr for this? I'm a bit low on spoons ATM...

Sounds like Rasengan, or a Wind-element variant thereof.

Rasen-Shuriken?

how does everyone feel about not draining Kiba to stay unconscious longer since he is the member of Team Kurenia we can most easily manipulate?

Why are we voting on stuff? We were already told we didn't need to.
We thought of a few different ideas/minor tweaks to the old plan in the time between. Wouldnt want to change any of the desired outcomes of the old plan, but minor tweaks to implementation (limit the earbuster use, discuss/test specific strategies, quantify seal output, etc) seem to be generally helpful (either advantageous to us, or more helpful for writing)

@MMKII
Thanks for making your own write-up... I find that explanations from a different perspective really help with understanding.

  • Test (use clones as appropriate; minimize seal expenditure):
    • Max speed at which Pangolins could dig trenches.
    • Implosion seal anti-underground effectiveness/nonlethality.
    • Pitfalls: Dig shallow 4x4 pit, put primed LBF + GB inside, put FW above them, cover with dirt. Attach wire to upper FW: if pulled, seal displaces, people fall in.
      • Attach LBF to solid foundation, ensure it's not activated by casual disturbances.
      • Attach wires of several Pitfalls to longer strand of wire. Test simultaneous activation.
    • Goo-clusterbombs (like Kagome's grapeseeds): low-power explosive at centre with primed GBs attached to it by clay. When activated, scatters GBs for AoE attack.
    • (Ask teammates/Noburi to lead proctor away. If can't, test Pitfalls under Air+Earth Domes, don't test implosions & clusterbombs.)
@MMKII, @Adept_Woodwright, is that correct?

Depending on what people think, we might be able to get away without the force all below. Maybe a thin slab of MEW rock?

Really just to make sure the LBF isn't disturbed from below.

Force Wall Pitfall Trap Design Schematics

Picture:

Brief Summary:

Dig a shallow 4m by 4m pit. Attach force wall tags, attach one strand of ninja wire to one of the tags. Cover force wall with dirt to camouflage. Pulling the wire de-activates the force wall (the tags will be unaligned).

Additional:
Fill the bottom of the pit with a Goo Bomb trap (LBFs, 1 Goo Bomb, ninja wire as needed).Any dirt falling from above will activate this, causing Goo to erupt upwards.

The depth of the pit "x", should be just enough to allow this to happen.

Doing both of the above shall be termed the "Goo Bomb Pitfall Trap"

@faflec @Noumero

We want to test the above. First with one trap, no goo bombs. Then with many traps linked together (tie the activation wire in each of these to a longer strand of ninja wire. Pull that to activate all of them.) Do a handful of tests with a single trap/goo bomb. Test with clones. Aim: Make sure this isn't lethal or dangerous in some unforeseen way.

@Noumero can you bullet-ify this? I think linking to this post is ok in the bullet (pictures make things very clear) and the description of this trap is relatively simple as summarized above.

@Adept_Woodwright, @MMKII, I added testing cascading traps. Seems fine?

Oh. Ninja'd. Added about using clones. Not sure we need to specifically mention testing without Goo Bombs first? Hazou'll probably figure that out himself.

I'll link the picture.

There will be explosions and all kinds of chaos going on aboveground. I think we'll need it.

Do we really want to limit earbuster use when we have to collectively take out everyone?
The point is we don't want our Round 2 teammates to have initiative penalties because we have to Assume the Worst and we may have as much as 4:1 odds against us if literally everything wrong that could possibly go wrong does indeed go wrong.

We can't afford to waste seals. Goo might destroy forcewall tags. Erego: test the feasibility in the order it will consume minimal possible resources.

EDIT:

We don't want cascading , we want simultaneous activation. Thats why I worded the "Multi trap" test as I did above.

If people in the back have a split second to react to this they might dodge.
