Every ninja who matters is a clan nin. Clearly they turned her parents years ago and she was born into the life.

Also you seem to be pretty calm about the possibility of Minami being a spy...

Where is the real faflec and what have you done to him?!??

Buddy if Minami were a spy nothing would change for us. We can't prove she's a spy and thus can't act on the information. Minami's best course of action is to send enemy nin against us so that Hazou and Kagome can be captured and used to make Skywalkers for Suna. Which we can't stop because they will send overwhelming levels of force to take us down.

So basically, I'm not worried because there is literally nothing we can do about this possible outcome, and thus I am more worried about other things.

Like a lupchanz showing up and infecting Minami.

See if we could have taken ninja missions we might have gotten Minami seriously injured. Then we could have just sent in Akane. Who we know is an international terrorist
 
This whole Minami is a spy business would explain why she didn't execute Kagome, she needs to deliver him to the Kazekage. But I don't think we need to worry, we will just trigger some Akatsuki sleeper agent (like Yura in canon) and Sasori & friends will show up and save us....and then Kagome X Deidara 2017 will become canon.
 
Clearly Minami is Black Zetsu. I mean common, the foreshadowing is pretty obvious.

Speaking of sky squid, I was having a discussion with @OliWhail, and ended up drawing how I imagine sky squid.


At which point @OliWhail mentioned that it looks kinda nervous because of how its rubbing its tentacles together.

Here's another one. Stick upwards of a thousand Tunneler's Friends in a sheltered place that's still open to the air, set them all to charging, and run like heck. They should create an enormous amount of negative pressure, possibly making some sort of vortex, and then when they finally break they release an enormous amount of air in a very small space really quickly. And it's entirely scalable. We could alphastrike Rain if we did this, and claim it's a secret, A-Rank Wind jutsu.
Let's tell Jiraiya when we get home. (Unless Leaf is a smoking crater. In which case let's just use it on Rain.)
