To help out players that are new and on-boarding the quest? It would take ~30 seconds of work, but would save many new players hours of fruitless searching and confusion. Even if neither of the lists above are 100% accurate (The first doesn't have runes. The second is maybe(?) missing some seals), it's much better than the current official doc which is hopelessly out of date and leads to much more confusion and frustration about the quest.
I wrote the second one. I'm confident it has all of the seals Hazō can make; it's only the list of ones he's seen but not researched that might be incomplete.

Makes sense to me, democracy and all. Implemented
Given that this is now in place:

[X] Action Plan: Mad Science Cave Clearing

I have concerns about studying the chakravores, but the characters are in a far better position to judge than I am. If that many of them think it's fine, it's probably fine, and it would be interesting even if it doesn't turn out to be useful.

Huh. Then (@eaglejarl @Velorien @Paperclipped) did there appear to be any medium between the otters and Noburi? Like, was his chakra moving in a straight line through the air from Noburi to the otters? Did it travel through the ground to reach the otters?
It was moving through the air, yes.

@eaglejarl @Velorien, @Paperclipped

How does Hazou et al feel about sprinting to the nook if the cave has sufficient time to unclear, ie a few hours so that Noburi can determine how badly Yuno and Mari are hurt, is it incredibly dangerous?

If so, we might want to just blitz it right now.
If by 'time to unclear' you mean 'time for dangerous critters to move back into the area that Noburi cleared out' then Hazō thinks it's a terrible idea. There's no way of knowing exactly how much life is in the cave and how likely it is to return to areas where previous occupants were killed.

Pinging also @eaglejarl @Velorien

How far did it take in terms of distance (Zones?) for Noburi to run outside their range
About one Zone, Noburi thinks.

Has it ever been confirmed that ninja are even able to sense how full their reserves are at any given time?
They can sense their chakra reserves in much the same way that you can sense your own energy reserves, i.e. how tired you are.

Request to the QMs (@eaglejarl @Velorien @Paperclipped ) or a very active and generous player from the playerbase? Can someone add the runes we've discovered to the "PLAYERS - Known Seals" google sheet in the "Rules, Stunts, Jutsu, Characters, etc" chapter at the beginning of the quest?
This has been an item on my quest to-do list for a long time, but there's always been something else...

Can somebody (the QMs?) with access to the "Seals Know to Players" google doc found in the beginning of the quest just copy and paste either the:
I'll see if I can find the time this weekend.

Ping me with any proposed last minute edits or suggestions about the plan but I'm softlocking it in as it stands modulo some minor word count optimizing.

inb4 Kagome just walks up to the demon otters and puts them in a storage seal

"What? Everyone knows you can't store human chakra, but Preta chakra is just fine!"

As long as we make Kagome happy by letting him know we pay attention to what he says - specifically, by stating that it seems like there's Gaki in the caves - and asking him for his take first thing, I'm good with any plan.

Especially if we A) Save the Stone Otters if they're dead, or B) The statues mean nothing because our Doggo went home and left a statue, so we can experiment with Earthshaping on Nature-Chakra Stone.

Mari and Yuno are empty, Hazō, Kei, Kagome, and Tenten are at around half, and Noburi is at around 80%.
A SC each from Kei and Hazou is easily doable then. Summoning one SC each will use up what they each have left, Nobs can dole out 200ish CP per prime/clone and still have a ton of chakra left over. He's not gonna need much either with just WW and boosting being single cost for him.

Jiraiya and Mari agree that Pangolin Flash would be extremely useful to ninja who were properly specced for it, but don't think it's as useful for the clan as some of the others. Kagome, on the other hand, was extremely excited to hear about it, and strongly recommended getting it since "some people in the clan" would be able to use it to "outrun the stinkers and get real close before they can do anything and boom squish 'em real dead real fast"
@eaglejarl @Velorien @Paperclipped

From this description, I would assume that Kagome enthusiastically learned Strength of the Storm pretty quickly after it went into our vault. Is that correct?

I would feel much more comfortable with him being a part of our cave assault with minimal arachnid bodyguards if he had that S-Tier Athletics buff in his pocket.

Let's say that immediate healing is the sole domain of medical ninjutsu. Without magic, these effects are not replicable. To perform immediate healing, you must first roll MedKnow against the wound TN, then MedNin against the wound TN.
  • This feels about right to me, so I'll stick with it. Still, I made this up on the spot, and I'll probably do something different next time.
Pinging also @eaglejarl @Velorien

Are you guys planning on keeping some form of the immediate healing rules from this example?

What does studying the chakravores mean, in practical terms? How will Hazō describe this process to the team?
Presumably it would mean at bare minimum taking readings with our suite of Sensory seals (chakrascope, MS8, etc.) It has always been kind of black boxed how he e.g. takes readings on the Rift so I think that's why it tends to be underspecified, we just legitimately don't have information on what studying something is like.

My interpretation would be that the person with a jōnin-level medical research stat would examine them over the course of a few days and try to learn about how they drain chakra, paying special attention to details that might enable him to improve his own draining capabilities.

Pinging also @Paperclipped and @eaglejarl.
