Mmm well our money is increasing so that's okay. So we neded to make more expeditions, expand the market, and develop more in R+D. But as things are now we have enough money for an emergencie

I believe the discrepancy comes from the Tron laser, which should have cost us 2 Income to buy.

But I'm pretty sure the Income system is getting revised at some point*, since the current system doesn't even distinguish between income streams and lump sums, so I'm not particularly worried about the details right now.

*Willing to help with that, @Made in Heaven, by the by, if offloading work onto an automatically updating spreadsheet would be helpful.

Did you, perchance, miss the part where Janus's card is villain red?
Then why until now did we only ever bring *four* to any quests?

Wasn't there a whole thing about bringing 4 to Chicken Itza?
DC of Decode Odd Signals Reduced!

YES!

Good to see our new employee is putting up quite the hustle already.
Now that you mention it, we might actually become a Victor von Doom derivative.

"I am Doof! Master of the stick shift!"
[Nat 1's Dino Entertainment] The dinosaurs are eating people!
Jumba, critting the next research: A tragedy, yes. But have you seen my new dinosaur hybrids?

People after a Nat 1: DINOSAURS ARE EVIL

People when we get more dinosaurs:

because a dino park with just tiny herbivores will probably be a novelty that will get boring quickly.

Parasaurolophus aren't exactly small, man. We have plenty of midsize. I think the large are things like the sauropods and titanosaurs, and then carnivores are tyrannosaurs, spinos, and aquatic stuff.
Xanatos is going from strength to strength, his partnership with Chef Skinner and Toffee's corn are most likely beating the pants off our cricket farms. He's beat pretty much every roll we've seen in New York and he's doing great.

Yeah, but he's an ally. The only time he hasn't been was in a literal worst case scenario bullet dodged timeline.
Shere Khan is beating us in the Cold Fusion race, has succeeded two DCs and is currently stuck on the third.

Oh boy, he won a race we had no horse in.
Sycorax and InventCo are neck and neck with us on sciencey stu

And essentially not there in anything else.
Xanatos and Drakktech ar

Military might will not beat us.
Drossel Juno Vierzehntes Heizregister Fürstin von Flügel.

We're getting closer, I can taste it!
Abraham Kane maybe but I haven't seen Motorcity and the wiki paints him to be unpleasant and maybe an idiot? Like Doof played straight.

I mean, we did recruit Janus Lee, Master Geneticist Who Doesn't Understand Genetics.

Now that we've got Wendy, depending on her stats, we should probably put her on the Doppelgänger bodies and give Ludivine a break to work on the Martian robot sinc Ethan would probably help her Martial which would make upgrading Norm easier

Now that I looked at Kitsune's Traits again, I think she might be great for stealing magic items, such as a certain pair of scissors. Are there any other intrigue action that imply stealing?

Right now it's still a little out of reach for her, and by that I mean a lot out of reach. DC 170/200 on a person who rolls about 50 is just "pray for multicrits" and not really a viable strategy.

The other intrigue actions that imply theft are corporate espionage, which are dc140ish, for NMEIZ most likely, which while still quite out of range is a lot more doable.

Don't forget the non-critical failures.

Meanwhile Toffee is about to join Xanatos in the paranoia club.
Toffee : He refuses my corn offer only to give me a subtle threat a few months later with his humanoid coffee machines and new reptile meat market.

I'm not ashamed to admit that I just laughed so hard that I almost blacked out! THANK YOU!!! I haven't laughed that hard in a long time!

I've seen a lot of concern that Exposing Hawk was a waste of time, and I think it's a bit premature to say that when we haven't gotten the interlude for the action yet. Especially given the Interlude's title.

Consider:

"That's All, Folks" is a signature Toon farewell.

Neither Mirage nor Hawk are Toons (or Russ levels of Toon Adjacent).

We've been dripfeeding Doom's intel apparatus bullshit for the past couple of turns, and just yoinked his Intrigue guy in a public way before he could hire a replacement. For this single turn, Doom's effective Intrigue is abysmal, suffering from both Hawk's false trails and his sudden absence.

Phantom Blot, a Toon, is leaving LA, and he's probably going to throw one last farewell act before he does. And he knows all about Hawk.

Put all these factors together, and if this doesn't end with PB seizing on this moment of weakness to absolutely clown on Doom on his way out the door, I'll buy and eat a hat. And next turn, we can throw Kitsune at Doom to keep stomping on him while he's down. It'll be fun.
If this is the case, I would highly recommend we do decentralize Normbots next turn.

I'm sure unless we roll a critfail the Dinosaur Entertainment will work out. We know our tropes and are yes-illionairs, so unless Richard "SpArEd No eXpEnSe" Hammond I expect us to have redundant safety systems and not underpay our programmers (we learnt that last lesson from the Social Network attempt....)

I'm not sure how much the loss of a pair of DImensional Scissors would effect Toffee
Toffee uses this ability to transfer Mewnian wealth and goods wherever they are needed, most often to bribe local authorities into doing whatever he requires or to cover tracks afterwards.
Sounds like stealing his scissors will be a small(?) hit to his stewardship(resource flow) and intrigue(bribes)

I'd go to that Disneyland Doofanialand.

I'm not sure how much the loss of a pair of DImensional Scissors would effect Toffee

It's probably one of the easier ways to travel dimensions if he's using it to port food. No limit to portal size plus it'll basically always take you were you want it to.

He might have access to other dimensional scissors through overtaking Ludo and the Star family treasury?

I think we'd be better off taking "Research Extradimensional Tech" since it's a DC 140 learning action. Then we can make our own scissors equivalent.
Plus, he probably doesn't keep the scissors on earth very long. Being able to try and take them while they are in the other dimension could potentially be easier to do or we will have a longer amount of time/opportunity to do it, so it could potentially reduce the DC by a lot.

What paradigm would Psychic phenomena belong to? Aliens? Magic? Supers? Weird?

Well this looks interesting. I do believe that I'll be participating in this as well.

I do have a question though: Is Doofensmirtz an actual pharmacist, or is that just a gag? Because depending on the answer, it we wanted to mess around in Zootopia we could offer to see if we can help Bellweather with the feral predator problem.

Yeah, DC 140 learning is tough, but much more doable. We have a +82 bonus to learning, but our best intrigue is +69 and costs us a fuckton of income.

Dimensional Tech is a literal coin flip, even with XP. Stealing the scissors has a 9% chance to pass with XP, and <1% to avoid being noticed.

It's a gag, but he could totally do that anyway because he is genuinely one of the most talented scientists in the world.

It's a running gag from Phineas and Ferb (people see the lab coat, and just assume).

Its a joke from the actual P&B show that people think he's a pharmacist because he wears a lab coat. That said he does have alot of medical/pharmaceutical knowledge.

> Omnidisciplinary: You have a decent understanding of all branches of science and may work on any of them with no penalty.
