1000 x the number of national actions
We're doing 12 actions, but Jumba doesn't need XP so I think it's 11k total, probably less for efficiency's for some of the higher odd ones
1000 x the number of national actions
Ah, dang, I still don't have enough to cover the full slate. Well, I guess i'll give 1000 to Civilian AI if we have a plan that includes that. Seems fitting, given what one of my Omakes was about.1000 x the number of national actions

No! Wait!1000 x the number of national actions

What the hell? Put my 1000 remaining XP on Jumba. Might as well make it a complete set and lower the DC
Flashback ends.Actually, you know what? That's a good point. Never mind, XP rescinded. Ignore me, I'm slightly tipsy thanks to the many glasses of cider I had. Hopefully my shower will clear my head
Wouldn't have helped? He rolled a 1. That, under the old rules, was a crit-fail, regardless of any bonuses. No! Wait!
Flashbacks begin...
Flashback ends.
Please. I fear the dice will be insulted. Please, give XP to Jumba.
It's not about the XP, or the numbers! It's pure dice superstition! The idea is that Jumba's dice were insulted we didn't add any XP, and so, well... we got what we got.Wouldn't have helped? He rolled a 1. That, under the old rules, was a crit-fail, regardless of any bonuses.
In fairness, we have a product. It's screws and washers and bits and bobs and everything that manufacturing needs. The point of branding isn't just PR, it's to make money by getting customers to associate a need or want to one of our products. Just wanted to clarify that because people seem to continue to get confused about that, for example people who originally wanted to dive headfirst into a big branding thing before actually having a product to advertise.
I disagree with basically your entire post but this in particular stands out.As for opportunity and action costs, if Negaduck attacks this turn, we're just going to have to collaborate with the Feds on something else. Oh no.
Is specifically a colab about dealing with Negaduck. If this is what the winning plan has then we will get one or more colab actions exclusively for dealing with Negaduck and nothing else.--[] [Diplomacy] Try to Collaborate with the Government on an Issue [Negaduck] (Kermit)
We aren't the police. None of our customers care about us doing the police's job.Okay, but I'm pretty sure that helping with the Negaduck situation will make people buy our stuff more. If nothing else it's great advertising. I'm thinking of getting the government off our back when we score our Widget monopoly.
Depending where Kermit ends up, he might not need it either. I was thinking of a final Omake (Russ getting caught up to speed by someone), but I might save it for after the turns are up for dear Arathorns Sanity.1000 x the number of national actions

Not pictured: Phantom Blot (though he is actually Russ's nemesis, the nemesis of your employee is your nemesis-in-law, as per Monogram), and though Doof doesn't yet know it, an impending confrontation with Yokai.Toffee and DOR-15 funnilly enough Doof doesn't really view as his enemies. It's not personal, not yet. Doofs Enemies are
Though do note he froze himself before we learnt the hats are evil and not just a tool of evil
If you go into the negatives this turn, your yearly income next turn will almost certainly bring you out of the red. If you go into the negatives on another turn, you'll have to gain income in some way to get yourself out of it- staying in the negatives on income is very bad and will carry with it a lot of harsh penalties.@Made in Heaven
If Doof goes into negatives for his liquid funds, does it balance out by deducting from his next yearly income, or is that not actually mechanically possible?
I mean, no, us actively helping to catch a terrifying serial killer would probably help PR. Also, Olive decided he wanted that.We aren't the police. None of our customers care about us doing the police's job.
Also when the heck did we decide we wanted a monopoly? And since when did we have any Widget-advancing actions?
I think for your plan it would be best to give Monogram a shot.Do we believe that Monogram can beat the coin flip odds and finally join the big kids' table at the letter agency?
And he's more likely to get us more serious return on investment. Are we gonna send a mascot or a Major? They'll treat us differently. I'm starting to lean towards Hearts myself, it's only a 26% difference, not that bad. This isn't the critical roll, worst case we won't be able to mitigate whatever Negaduck is planning, not a dead hero.I think for your plan it would be best to give Monogram a shot.
Imagine this storyline:
Monogram goes to washington with a plan to defeat Negaduck
They laugh at him but hear him out (bare success)
Two months later, Negaduck is defeated
Monogram's character arc complete
Regarding this, I'd like to ask for some clarification
[ ] Try to Collaborate with the Government on an Issue
DC 100/Variable
The DC of this action is like that of Assault a Rival- once you suggest a specific issue to speak about, I'll estimate a DC for the following action for you.
Okay I have found a justification for labeling the Collaboration [Negaduck]. Monogram's odds are now +64 after xp. The difference between his and Kermit's odds is now 16%.And Put a Stop to It!: Major Monogram has a lot of experience dealing with minor to moderate threats to law and order. He also has a veritable zoo of secret agents helping him. He has a +10 to any rolls made to combat, infiltrate, or otherwise deal with villains that have a DC of 100 or lower.
Are you serious? You think Negaduck's Dc is below 100? Cuz I'm telling you it aint so.Okay I have found a justification for labeling the Collaboration [Negaduck]. Monogram's odds are now +64 after xp.
Organizing the collab is DC 100, and it's still 'otherwise dealing with villains'.Are you serious? You think Negaduck's Dc is below 100? Cuz I'm telling you it aint so.
@Arathnorn Confirmation on this? Would Monogram's "Put a Stop to it!" trait proc on the collab or no?Organizing the collab is DC 100, and it's still ' otherwise dealing with villains'.
This isn't the intent of the action, Monogram is negotiating with the government on if they want to do something with Negaduck next turn or not. Negaduck isn't involved in this action to a degree that would proc the trait.Okay I have found a justification for labeling the Collaboration [Negaduck]. Monogram's odds are now +64 after xp. The difference between his and Kermit's odds is now 16%.
Lightbulbs are taking this 4:2 and I want to sleep. If the votes change, we can put up another version. Before I finalize Hold Your Nose And Swallow V3*, I'd like a quick vote.
May I suggest that, if we are having Monogram do the collab, you swap to the Golden Oldies instead? It's lower DC, and seems to fit Monogram's talents better.Alright, then I'll take one of Angelform's objections into account and change the tag to [Preferably Negaduck].
