As part of my belated plan-making, I am going to make an argument that is going to sound weird, but that makes sense in my mind.

The argument? Don't put Cruella in charge of deciding the company dress codes. She is fucking nuts, hates the current DEI aesthetic and her fashion sense may not match that of the broader company.

Instead, I'd use her for the Super-Wrestling Collaboration where most plans have Kermit.

1) Numerically, she is close to the frog.
2) Costuming is part and parcel of wrestling and practicality is very much optional. Hell, she can even put capes* in the costumes and it'd be good for that kind of fighting.
*3) Undoubtedly, this would outrage Edna Mode, since this is one of her rivals putting some of the things she hates most and intruding in the world of super-costuming, which Edna'd hate a lot.

Now, feel free to poke at the no doubt large holes that you can find in my reasoning.

…we have a current aesthetic and/or fashion sense? I thought it was just, y'know, Doof choosing colors at random and then demanding all of his employees wear them :V

More seriously, though, I worry if Cruella might turn her nose up at the notion of designing for wrestlers, but otherwise you make a good point.

Yeah, that is the potential danger, but I think that she is likelier to take the chance for the opportunity to show up Edna than to flip out.

Anyway, did a little overview of the six plans presented so far if anyone is interested.

Martial:
Everybody is doing black ops.
Elite Units is doing the Mezmerella-Juniper-Gomez variant.
Every other plan is running with the variant that puts Technor as heroball leader.

Stewardship:
Everybody has Zootopia Climate with Roddy, with differences based on the second/third action.
Elite Units has Moseby trying to help Bonkers Bobcat and Monogram/NOWCA doing a Stewardship collaboration involving Diecast Robotics.
Both versions of Star Hunt have Alan in Civilian AI and Monogram making a Bakamono supply chain.
NOWCA Interdimensional has Alan in Civilian AI. Ditto for Hold Your Nose and Swallow.
Building Up has Alan in Civilian AI and Monogram in a retreat.

Diplomacy:
Cruella does company dress codes against the hats in every plan posted so far. I am sure that there will be no downsides. Variations in the secondary action, of course.
Elite Units and Hold Your Nose has an anti-Negaduck government collaboration starring Kermit.
The rest of plans run with the Olympia collaboration involving the super-wrestling league.

Intrigue:
Everybody is humoring the Phantom Blot by sending Russ to hunt him down as part of the nationals, with variations in the second actions.
Elite Units is sending Tobe to infiltrate Sycorax.
The Star Hunts, Hold Your Nose and NOWCA Interdimensional also do Sycorax infiltration, but using Mezmerella instead.
Building Up sends Mezmerella to poke at Doris in Celebration

Learning:
Greco-Roman Landscaping under Lizzy and Large Carnivore Domestication are both present in all plans so far.
NOWCA Interdimensional adds Monogram activating the long delayed interdimensional portal.

Occult:
Most plans have Janna repairing the avatar and Tom summoning Celena, except for Elite Units sending Kitsune to search for Magical Individuals.

Corporate Court
All plans establish a corporate court.

Personals-Doof:
Elite Units has chats with Norm, Kitsune and Russ, plus getting rid of the Flubber actions and the nuclear launch codes heist.
Star Hunt and Hold Your Nose do Norm and Kitsune, but replace Russ with Ludivine.
Nowca Interdimensional doesn't include the Doof actions (fix that, BurnBright!)
Building Up is meetings with Russ, Ludivine and Kitsune.

Personals-Council:
Coyote looks into subsidiary records in all the plans.
Goofy finishes his degree in Elite Units and searches for Mickey in Building Up, with the rest sending him to visit the House of Villains
Janus gets to finish his Coyote mutant in all plans.
Mirage does networking in Elite Units, SFIT recruitment in the rest.
Malf... gets to watch soap operas, I guess?

Personals-Others:
Khan is studying history in all plans.
Dennis is training with Maui Mallard in all plans.
Marco is training with MacBeth in all plans.
Wasabi is obsessively checking San Fransokyo Cape News.
And then we have most plans giving Max the ruby wings, because they have Max hanging with Russ, which presumably means Max hanging around during the Phantom Blot chase sequence.

Inators:
Elite Units and Star Hunt Part Two, Safe Version don't activate Inators.
The rest of the plans do.

@Nystical, I'd vote for your plan but can we not activate an Inator this turn? I feel we are playing with enough risk as it is.

Also what about clearing Bonkers Bobcat's name? Are we ever going to do that?

My impression is that DEI doesn't currently have a coherent aesthetic and people can come to work in their pyjamas.

I imagine Cruella's uniforms would look a bit like Megamind's suit.

So I can't help but notice something:

We got this explicit warning in the previous turn.
  • Goblin Fox is active this turn! Kitsune must be assigned to an action that causes chaos.
  • Jumba is not Hungry for Science this turn! He can be assigned to non-genetics actions!
  • Monogram has not been requisitioned by the government this turn!
  • Doof takes a -10 to all personal actions for this turn!
In this turn, we have this instead.
  • Goblin Fox is not active this turn! Kitsune can be assigned to any action this turn.
  • Jumba is Hungry for Science this turn! He must be assigned to a genetics action!
Is the lack of warning about Monogram's availability an implication of the government having called NOWCA to work for them?

All of the plans have Monogram attached, I feel like between the fact that we need to know if he was called for planning and the fact most of the recent debate has been over what we're doin go with Monogram the QM's would have commented on if he wasn't by now.

I was hard, but I ultimately felt the 2 main plans I wanted, Star Hunt and NOWCA Interdimensional, were similar enough that I should just try to get the vote through as fast as possible. I also figured Bakaemono getting screwed by the inator is fine. It's an action we can take to make something slightly easier, but isn't needed.

Okay, so something that seems relatively safe here.

Martial: My preference was for a Mezmerella led heroball, but Technor's higher martial and pre-existing relationship with Juniper point towards him being ultimately the superior choice and we need to get heroballs out of the way, so... let's get this done.

Diplomacy: As mentioned in a previous post, Cruella is fashion related, but she is also scary and a bit of a bully, so giving her a free hand for dictating the company dress codes sounds like the kind of thing that could be an issue. As a result, Kermit gets to decide on regards to the dress code issue and Cruella gets to chat with Sinatron in the Golden Oldies project. I think that there is a decent argument for Cruella being willing to do super-wrestling, since it'd 100% annoy Edna Mode, but if nothing else Sinatra is never going to be unfashionable.

Stewardship: Roddy in the Zootopia collaboration project and Alan in Civilian AI for follow-up in that front.

Intrigue: Odds are a little worse, but with the return of Russ, Cloverleaf is going to be actively hostile again, while Sycorax isn't yet. Let's keep an eye on Doom, instead of further stretching ourselves, please.

Learning: Jumba in dino-domestication, like everybody else, but Lizzy does the Otherdimensionator activation for that permanent loyalty increase, and NOWCA get to play around with the landscaping technology. Remember that the Zootopia collaboration only requires attempting to develop GR Landscaping, not actually completing the action.

Occult: Many actions I'd like to take, but I'm fine with taking steps towards getting Malf a ghost girlfriend and repairing the avatar.

Personals: Talking with Norm, Russ and Ludivine seems like a must, after respectively the recent character development, returning from the Twilight Zone and the Flubber scare.

As for Ludivine, I want to see what that robot does, so putting some actions into finishing it there.

Finally, in regards to Moseby, I think that getting him in contact with toons ASAP is a good idea. Following up on his old contacts is presumably not super-time sensitive, but knowing if he is gonna adapt well to DEI seems like a better use of his personal.

This is also my NO INATOR plan.

Things this plan doesn't try to tackle: Negaduck and Bonkers. The challenges for both seem to large, so with this one I've decided to go with things that we reasonably can hope to accomplish. If that's a dealbreaker for anyone, the plan is definitely not for you.

The slightly more daring version of my previous plan in which Cruella actually is tasked with the super-league, in the hopes that she'll enjoy the opportunity to mess with Edna via supercostuming with capes, and in which we activate an Inator. Maybe this time the gacha will give us something decent?

Remember that the Zootopia collaboration only requires attempting to develop GR Landscaping, not actually completing the action.
It actually needs to complete the action, failing it but succeding the stewardship action means that we will have to try the GR action again next turn and we won't recieve the rewards from the Zootopia action until its done but we would not get penalties from failing to attempt the collab.
Story wise the GR Landscaping tech is needed to fix the Zootopia Climate Systems

[X] Plan: NOWCA, Interdimensional Pioneers!

Sure, but that's the point.

Upside of swapping things around like that is that Lizzy gets that sweet, sweet loyalty for activating the otherdimensionator.
Downside of swapping things around is that with NOWCA there is a 31% chance of the Landscaping research not getting done (21% chance with full XP).

[X] Plan: Building Up And Breaking Down

I favor taking the Company Retreat action as soon as possible. The chance of DC drops for actions and/or stat boosts for some units with all the extra Personals it lets us take genuinely makes me think doing it this turn instead of next is a good choice.
