"How did he know all that?" Max asked.

Russ clutched his own head.

"I DON'T KNOW!!!"

SF Informant Ring established! Rumor Mill in San Fransokyo upgraded!
Details on the SF underground and cape scene gained!
Agent Russ has gained a new Personal Action- Reach out to Fredzilla!
Max has made progress towards reigning in his own comedy!
(Reward: 89/150)
New Personal Action for Max unlocked!
AHAHA, Fantastic Fredzilla as always, now we can start making inroads towards that delectable tomokiri!
Seems appropriate? He's pretty much just doing the divination side of the cthulhubird's schtick, which might be something that comes naturally from being a human going that road. Being physically grounded doesn't mean you are in any way mentally grounded.
you think ... there might be ... a toonforce ... SKILL TREE!!!!!!!!!
Agent Unknown, I'm afraid it's true. You have a superhero vehicle, a mysterious backstory, a firm grasp of heroic repartee, and a nemesis. You've fought supervillains, and even done your first superhero team up! It's official, Agent Unknown is now a cape.
Man, do you think we can Upgrade Russ by adding on an entire extra class/race
we now have enough stewardship/diplo heroes to free up Mirage for intrigue full time
but she has useful recruitment actions!

Ok. It's official. We need to recruit Fred. We can tell him he's "undercover" converting Doof to the side of good.
We need to network with him. He needs to be a rising star in that goddamn shithole on the West Coast. That whole swath doesn't have much good going for it right now and stealing the Fred would only tarnish his shine.

As much as something that makes no sense makes sense, it makes sense. Its clearly something different powers can draw different things out of to some radically different ends.

So, is it a safe bet that we'll get Fredzilla without a National Action? If so, then I would recommend prioritizing recruiting Fredzilla to try and get more options for recruiting other members of Big Hero 6 through personal actions.

I have to wonder if things are going so well for us in a meta-sense on accident or on purpose. We've got much of the Star VS cast gathered, and it seems like it would be fairly easy for us to get the Big Hero 6 main cast as well. Made in Heaven might be trying to make this work like how Disney plots tend to work, or it might just be how things turned out.

Shego has a relatively hands-off methodology, I wonder if she would oppose us investigating/opposing Sky High, and to what extent. I mean, if I remember correctly, the Sky High mercenaries she hired did betray her and us, so I doubt she values them all that much. It shouldn't be too implausible to make an aging-inator to reverse the whole supers turned into babies thing thanks to Jumba's Human Genetics roll.

So, I'm kind of glad Max's personal got replaced (probably) by a new one. As much as I want to get that /150 to max, I don't think he's ready for the big leagues, that is, Phantom Blot, yet.

After learning here how he's trying to make a team I'm not really sure if we'd be able to recruit him with our Rolodex action.

Mmm, I think we need to work a bit more to convince Shego that Gwen is a bad investment. Point out that actual loyalty always trumps mercenary tactics, since the latter are only loyal until someone with a bigger paycheck comes along.

In other words, committing villainy through the power of friendship!

We could hire him and make a Hero Ball with him. He might even have a personal action to help that along.

You have a point. I wonder if Hego would be ideal in pointing that out or not.

He is so going to get shanked regardless. I mean, yeah, he will probably survive it... but going after the hero's protege is classic villainy. Phantom Blot would have to roll to resist it.

I meant that given how he's trying to make a team it seems difficult that we would be able to recruit him through our Rolodex action (that is, we should reach out to him with Russ). Not that we shouldn't recruit him at all.

I was saying that I was thinking that we should have Russ reach out to Fredzilla, hoping to use that instead of a diplomacy action. Do you think we'll need to use a Rolodex Diplomacy action, even after Russ does his personal action?

Max said the first thing that came to his head. "Hey, what's that over there?"

Slowly, to the tune of grinding gears, the old-fashioned robot turned to look behind it.

"It… it worked!" Max cheered, before slipping past the behemoth.

"WHAT?!?!" Von Steamer screamed. "MY AUTOMATON DOES NOT POSSESS LANGUAGE PROCESSING! WHY DID THAT WORK?!?!"

"Because it was funny!" Russ yelled as he swung in with a right hook.
The best part of this is that it's not funny until Russ tells us that it's funny. Without that it's just kind of weird, with it it's hilarious. I think that that's the only time I've ever seen a joke that only worked because someone told me it was a joke.

what an excellent interlude. We really nailed the SanFransokyo actions this turn. It's funny that we're doing so well on Danville "mundane" security that we're able to establish such strong tendrils in another direction. I bet nobody saw this coming

Like. Let's pretend someone is watching our intrigue actions
- Doof declares Toons Are People, Doom is mad
- Doof intrigue group runs circles around Doom's until Doom's intrigue guy disappears and is not seen again
- Doom makes an overture to Doof.

From this, Xanny boy whoever is watching just knows that we're about to escalate our shenanigans with Doom, which is unfortunate but we're known to be petty and Doom wouldn't let getting shown up so bad go. So what's the next play?
- Agent Unknown breaks out in the Glory Days faction of SanFransokyo's cape scene, seen tutoring who appears to be Goofy's Son in "comedy fighting" or something
- Corporate overtures are made both with SFI and Bakaemono at the same time, his own heir in attendance
- Cape known as "Fredzilla" that showed prescient knowledge in happenings present on scene, disappears alongside Agent Unknown after talking with him at length
- Geishas talked to by Goofy's Son, but uh, that part ended with them trying to hit him so that wasn't a bizarre success like everything else

So. Obviously, we're either galaxy brain or too eccentric for mortal logic. Because goddam. In like, two months? Complete set of successes on the SanFransokyo Front which, previously, we didn't seem concerned much with compared to our near-a-year of punking Doom

Truly Awful Taste
A little character piece that came out of nowhere and which will probably go nowhere. Hope somebody gets a couple of chuckles out of this.

Truly Awful Taste

It has to be the salmon, mused the woman officially known as Elizabeth Peña, closing her eyes after taking another sip from her newest little vice to wash down another bite of her sandwich. Why Trevor Trengrove had been surprised by his company's failure to secure a position in the soft drinks market, she just couldn't fathom.

A salty soft drink? With turmeric?

It was no wonder that Funirade had done so horribly in the market, but for some reason the Funtelligence CEO clearly still had hang-ups about that failure. During their recent dinner, she had accidentally stepped on that mine and the man had instantly fallen into a funk.

She had only been able to direct the conversation towards more productive topics, after promising to drink a can of Pink Funirade (with extra salmon flavour!) that Trevor had promised to send her as soon as possible. He had said that he had kept a few as a memento, after production had stopped.

Considering that he had sent her a pallet, that may have been an understatement. What did that say about him?

And what did it say about her that she had actually found herself enjoying the concoction?

She had known for a few years that she had absolutely awful taste in men, but she had never expected to have such an awful taste in drinks, too!

Fortunately, before she could walk any further down the well-trodden path towards self-flagellation, a convenient distraction showed up in the form of somebody sitting next to her. Mirage opened her eyes and glanced to the side.

Unfortunately, it was none other than Hego. His usual cheerfulness and devotion to the ideals of heroism were painful remainders of old mistakes at best, while his almost childish innocence was annoying most of the time.

Not that he was looking particularly cheerful at the moment. In fact, he looked unusually haggard and was giving the small bowl of pasta in front of him a thousand yard stare.

"I take it that you had a bad trip?" she asked, curious. Preparing her trip to California had kept her out of the loop in regards to some of the company's recent projects, but she knew that he had been earmarked for something that was supposed to be a journey of exploration. Clearly, things hadn't gone according to plan.

Hego startled, looked at her in confusion for a split second and then, after a flash of realization passed through his features, he started laughing. It started like a weak giggle, but it swiftly grew in volume and intensity, unitl the hero was roaring in laughter.

It took him perhaps a couple of minutes to regain his composure. When he did he was looking much closer to his usual self.

"Yes, miss Peña. You could say that I had a really bad trip!" he replied with a smile in his face. It was not his usual 'dazzlingly heroic' smile, but Mirage couldn't help but feel that this one seemed more honest. More attractive, too.

Realizing what she had just thought, Mirage groaned internally. She had truly awful taste, indeed.

Why did you do that, Disgust? He is cute!
We already went through this once and we are not doing it again. That's my job here!
Maybe we should give it a try? She has been getting better, but I still have too much work and...
No! Disgust is right. She could get hurt! It is too soon!
It has been years, Fear. She cannot live the rest of her life in the shadow of Buddy...
AAAAAAARGGHH!!!
Fire alarm! Fire alarm!! Where is the extinguisher!?

Honestly, Fredzilla is uncanny in terms of how often his bizarre genre-savvy predictions turn out to be true in Big Hero 6 the series.

It might be toon force, but he is also the son of Boss Awesome who while 'natural' seems to be either insanely lucky or have some kinda luck or precognitive power, if it was actually some kinda genetically linked superpower I would not be at all surprised.

We're too eccentric for mortal logic.

It's obvious that we're only interested in San Fran to stop Doom from being able to produce his cogs as easily as he has been doing.

This will be good practice for for you in turning Toonforce to your advantage."
repeat word
"Yes, we've done battle many a time." Steamer corroborated. I curse you for daring to continue his legacy. If I could discover your secret identity, Fredzilla, it would mark your undoing!"
corroborated. "I curse you

"Riiiiiight, right, I gotcha. You're undercover. Probably pretending to work for a villain while slowly turning them to the side of good in a dramatic twist-reveal."
Ahh Fred. You say the nicest of things.

The longer we go on the deeper other people's cuts keep getting. We're going to have to achieve entirely new levels of deep cut! 500xp.

The Corrosive Blade

Bit short to be a full omake, but fun! 100xp.

====================================================================================================================

Negaverse Janna-Quest:

====================================================================================================================
I like that Janna is somehow our biggest negaquester. Unexpected protagonist powers continue. 500xp.

NEGAVERSE: The Beginnings of Purple and Green
Not to say she's the only one, and how! 500xp on top of the original version.

We need a Xanatos Negaquest that's just attempting to figure out what Doof's plan is, because he clearly is planning something, HE JUST HAST TO BE.

Like a Ninja of Love, Rappelling Down from Above
--OR--
That One Song by Poison; What's its Name Again?

An excellent idea, and one I would've considered if it weren't very difficult to justify. 500xp nonetheless.

A Welcoming Hand (Part 1)
250xp for good taste.

Good a time as any to repost the Omake Trackinator, then.

By Walt thank you. So much. You already got your 2000xp but let me repeat you deserve it.

God, I hate that this isn't even that far fetched. Obviously not canonable anyway, but sheesh, that show. Weird priorities sometimes. 500XP.

What's the Probability of Nemeses?
Noncanon unfortunately due to and I quote "malarkey from Milo Murphy that I greatly disliked.", but very good nonetheless. 500XP!
