If I had to guess at the most useful action to take to find Kat, it would probably actually be galfed computers
[ ] Decrypt GalFed Computers

DC 140

The GalFed computers onboard the ship were stripped of a lot of their data and functionality so as to make it more difficult for Jumba to use them for evil, but there's still a wealth of data locked away. You're sure that decrypting things will give you a better picture of the galaxy as a whole, and maybe some insight into how these aliens think.

(Reward: Knowledge of galactic-scale politics, happenings, etc)
Seems like it would probably include mention of Kat's species.

Also, I just realized Khan has an amazing trait that lets him roll 2/3 his stats on two Nationals a turn, potentially rolling two lower DC martial actions at 48 on the same turn. We've just never used it because we haven't unlocked second Martial action and are in no way close to doing it.
Once we get rid of Artifact of the Past, Khan will be the go-to guy for all our martial actions

I can't possibly support Genetic genius because its putting 18 Intrigue Monogram on an intrigue action instead of 28 intrigue Mirage.

Ok so with the new changes, it looks like the main points of disagreement on the two leading votes is:

[ ] Plan: Genetic Genius
-[ ] National Actions:
--[ ] Reach out to leaders of the Zaibatsu (Mirage) (99%)
--[ ] Infiltrate a Hotspot: San Fransokyo (Agent Russ) (81%)
--[ ] Investigate Supervillain Attacks (Major Francis Monogram) (67%)

-[ ] Personal Actions:
--[X] Genghis Khan (Study science and technology)

-[ ] Item Asignments
--[ ] Jī Talisman: Roddy Blair

[ ] Plan: TECHNOR and Hego Go On a Road Trip
-[ ] National Actions:
--[ ][Diplomacy] Reach out to Shere Khan (Mirage) (91%)
--[ ][Intrigue] Investigate Supervillain Attacks (Agent Russ) (86%)
--[ ][Intrigue] Infiltrate a Hotspot: Las Vegas (Queen Lizzie) (61%)

-[ ] Personal Actions:
--[ ] Major Francis Monogram (Reorganize OWCA (150/250))
--[ ] Genghis Khan (Get an apartment)

-[ ] Item Assignments:
--[ ] Jī Talisman: Wile E. Coyote, Genius
--[ ] Potion of Fire Breath: Hego
--[ ] Yáng Talisman: Agent Russ

Both seem fine. However, between the two, and based entirely on my desire for good comedy in the near future...

[X] Plan: Genetic Genius

We'd know the species exists, sure, but Kat isn't that remarkable. It might make it easier to find him on an appropriate action, but it won't solve the problem of an intrigue nemesis secretly operating in OWCA

The evil has now been defeated, no need to thank me ! 👍

How could you call those poor grandmas evil, you monster.

Browse Online for Interesting Stories might also works in at least bringing some spotlight on Kat thanks to Candace.

I'm guessing Doof would be unable to recognize Kat in a similar way that he was unable to recognize Perry without his hat.

Although it might be a good idea to bring Candace in if we want. Not sure if we really want thought.

While it's true that drive-by voters don't benefit, I know for a fact that a fair number of the votes the top 4 plans have right now are from people abandoning their plans as they've become less competitive to start voting for more competitive alternatives. That's about the level of attention necessary for tweaked votes to gain traction.
Oh I know. That's why I said it didn't wholly negate it. Just felt an addendum was necessary :D

[X] Plan: Genetic Genius

This one seems the closest to what I would find ideal. I'd prefer having Kitsune go cause chaos in Doom's terf, but that's not one of those options I'd find to be a threshold "not gonna vote if this is/isn't in the vote" ones.

A Welcoming Hand
Just spent the last few days reading through this entire quest and I've got to say I love it. After I saw that Twilight Zone is cannon to this quest I was inspired to do this.

A Welcoming Hand (Part 1)

You sat in your office, reviewing your plans for DEI in the following months, so much has happened over the years, the incident with that Bill creature still haunts your memories, you and your allies were barely able to stop him, It made Hated Enemies Doom and Toffee seem like some last weeks doonkleberrys!

Let's see, invoices, diplomatic information, reports... It seems the work of an Evil Dictator never ends! You were just about to send and answer to Xanny's request when you heard a knock at your door. You got up and used your caneinator to help you reach the door, your legs just aren't what they used to be, why you can barely do a show toon anymore!

When you opened the door you found not one of your employees, but a nondescript man in a black suit, how did he get past your traps? Is he related to Kalabar guy?

"Hello there, I wasn't expecting anyone at this time of night."

"Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz?"

"Well yes, my name is on the building after all. Come in, don't stand in the door have a seat." You tell the strange man, now that you think of it he seems strangely familiar. Oh no, did you forget someone who works for you? You hate it when you can't remember someone's name, you really should have passed that law.

You turn to your desk only to find the man has somehow crossed the room and sat down without you seeing him.

"Thank you," He tells you as he looks back to the small notepad in his hands. "Your parents are Mr. and Mrs. Doofenshmirtz, and you were born in Drusselstein in 1963, well, 1963 relative to this areas time, correct?"

"That's right... Jared? No, Tony!"

"I assure you Doctor, we've never met in person before." He says as he returns to his notes. "Now your departure is scheduled for tomorrow night at the stroke of midnight, I'd suggest having your affairs in order by then."

"Departure, to where? I'm not planning on any trips!"

"Nobody does."

With that he stands and begins to leave. "Honestly you should count yourself lucky, few are fortunate enough to have natural causes."

I'm going to hold off on voting but I couldn't help but make something for my favorite recurring character in Twilight Zone.

Since approval voting seems to be a thing, I'm voting for any plan that includes investigating employees. I think that's really important this round.

[X] Plan: Googly
[X] Plan: Utilize Heroes
[X] Plan: Fantastical Felonious Felines V1.5
[X] Plan: Turtle Formation
[X] Plan Sabotage Investigation

(again, skipped most of the discussion, sorry)

Despite my optimism in the middle of last turn, looks like this will be another turn with a mix of undirected self-strengthening and responding to immediate threats, rather than putting any specific long-term plans into motion. Oh well. Perhaps next time.

Of the top 3 so far I'm torn between Genetic Genius and Road Trip. Road trip has us reach out to Khan rather than the Zaibatsu (which isn't worth much IMO if we've given up on messing with Doom), but I'm not sure how comfortable I feel with only 3 people on the quest. Sabotage Investigation is out because it doesn't have the quest.E

EDIT Wait what when did approval voting become OK?

It did not, if I recall.

Today in awful ideas: Every vote, at the stroke of voting opening, post all the plans proposed at once, thereby allowing people to get straight to voting without having to clog the thread. Would this be a dick move? Probably.
