Personally i find this plan somewhat of a filler(if interesting) plan, as i don't consider the telescopes important compared to our current priorities, i feel following or starting(even by asking the Clan/Mari/Kei on how feasible it is to complete these project/if they can do so/what would be needed on) these projects would make the plan more active and useful.

-Obtain/Obtain information on the Resolve Boost Jutsu from the Yamanaka(Do we even know if it exists?If it does, could we do a jutsu exchange?What can Mari find out?)
-Work to obtain any type of XP lootbox(Toads,Tsunade, ect...)
-Find information on useful Jutsu/resources(Kakashi's Jutsu? Gai's Eight Gates? Do the Spiders have anything useful they can offer us?)
-What is the FOOM situation according to Kei or Mari? Could we FOOM on the 7th Path?(At least the ones that can meet Noburi in the 7th Path).

Relevant feedback:
-According to the character sheet Hazou has 0 FP, is the Minato's seal easy enough Calligraphy/Sealing wise that we can research it? I'm pointing this out as our last Sealing Failure was caused by putting Sealing Research without managing FP. If we do not have FP, or Hazou will do multiple research rolls during the plan, we risk another sealing failure, depending on what we decide to research.

Would be helpful if we have specific goals in mind. Do we want better resolution? More zoom? A microscope for Noburi and medical research? Cheap enough telescopes that we can equip the entire Leaf military? Scopes for sniper works?

I just want to point out before the thread gets 10 miles downstream, that microscopes and telescopes are completely different optical setups, and Hazou doesn't know anything about optics.
 
We never told oro he needs to marry spider, sleep in her web, and swear off all other women to see great seal. Sleeping in web looks like clencher since he values his time. Well can tell spider queen to pay him goodies to convince him.

Oh we should ask spider for jutsu/goodies. With framing being to help us survive. Wouldn't want her sealmasters dying
 
Someone mentioned we low on FP so I'm voting for plans that don't have seal research (reminder that plan titles are ignored by QMs. So a plan with just a title is an empty plan)

Why are we prioritizing telescopes so much? They don't provide nearly as much value as we're pretending they do. This seems like a waste of time tbh.

Can you explain why Ma and Pa would bother teaching Naruto and why we would advocate that rather than have Noburi himself learn it?

And how would this make Sage Mode easier?

This is not true - the QMs ignore plan titles when the plans have content, but you can vote in a 'title only' plan of <10 words no problem. We vote for things like []Interlude: Kagome Loses His Underpants without any problem.

I agree that plan rules could be made more clear, but what you're saying is false and would only be true if the QMs weren't ending with us in good faith.

Plus having the reserves to Summon them seems like it probably checks the box on having enough chakra to make Sage Mode work.

I specifically asked before about the exception of one line plans. The QMs didn't make an exception so by default they would follow the rule of ignoring the title. The QMs have made exceptions before, I think for continue the previous plan type plans, but it was not a general exception to one line title plans.
In fact you specifically have agreed with my point of view before

@Velorien @Paperclipped @eaglejarl, would you be open to including something like the following in the rules doc? These topics come up periodically and generally cause headaches. I think that unwritten understandings are bad as well as being a barrier to quest participation.

I'd be happy to write a few example plans that illustrate what I've laid out below - I didn't include them right now because I'm too lazy to replace X with chi.

(Also apparently you can schedule automatic close of voting according to the link in the 'how to voting' post? That's neat.)
To be considered in voting, plans must adhere to the site standards. Marked for Death uses approval voting (you can vote for as many plans as you would like in a given cycle) and the plan with the most votes at the close of voting will win.
In addition to the above features and requirements, Marked for Death has the following rules for plans.
  • Plans cannot include links or references to previous plans or other posts: they must stand entirely on their own.
    • This restriction may be relaxed on a case-by-case basis The QMs may allow links within plans on a case-by-case basis, but the underlying requirement that plans must stand on their own will always be a requirement.
  • Plan length, which is a factor in determining the awarding of brevity XP or penalties associated with overlong plans, will be calculated by copying and pasting the plan into Google Docs.
    • Plan titles and indication of current plan length are not included in calculations of plan word count.
  • Plans must consist of both a title and content. Plan titles are only for the convenience of players: the QMs will not take titles into consideration when writing updates. Additionally, plan titles must be fewer than ten words.
  • The QMs may occasionally call for votes on specific sub-topics: in these cases, the players are restricted to the choices presented and write in votes are not allowed unless explicitly permitted by the QMs.

I'm not cutting it (partially because it's in the plan title) but a) I will note that saving some for Ami doesn't mean feeding it to her, it just means that we keep some and b) I'll add a note about not doing it if it feels uncomfortable etc.

I suspect it's just egg custard, and probably pretty good at that. Or it'll be mundanely inedible because it's actually a cypher system he abandoned a long time ago.

Orochimaru eats, too, and he probably eats conventional food at least sometimes.

    • Emphasize throughout that what you've done was only possible because of the skill and diligence of Aburame craftspeople, and the goodwill they extended you. You would never knowingly dishonour that.

Again, I think this is a cool opportunity to work with the Aburame more than anything, as well as a potential win with Asuma ('hey, do you want to equip Leaf away teams with ocular jutsu you don't need weird eyeballs for? we're calling this a telescope and it lets you see things which are far away like they're up close').

Mass production of what we have as well as overall 'better'. If we show the Aburame that we can mass-produce anything they can make, they suddenly have incentives to work on things like zoom.

Again, prioritizing working with the Aburame and a win with Asuma. As well as getting to show Kei that we consult her, I guess? That's another win.
 
Well I def wanna keep doing more high impact stuff so here's what I would want to do. I'm super flexible if people want to change how anything is phrased as long as we make the effort with Naruto

[X] Action Plan: The real cool stuff where the friends we made along the way
Sanity check everything with both Mari and Kei
  • Noburi & Naruto
    • Since Noburi now has the chakra to summon Ma & Pa find out if they would be willing to continue teaching Naruto their secret martial art
    • If they are willing arrange a time for Naruto to start to train with them
      • The only thing you ask is that either before or after the training Hazo, Naruto and Noburi get a chance to ask the sages to share stories about Jirayia
      • It feels important to keep his memory alive
    • If things go well see if Naruto would be willing to visit us at the new estate
      • Hazou thinks it's important that tries to reconcile with Naruto especially if our secret project works out
        • Plus we want to talk to him about it
  • Kumokōgō
    • Have Hazou & Kagome meet with her to discuss their trip to the GS and if their are any arachnid jutsu or other resources that are usable or adaptable to humans
      • Since both sealmasters live a dangerous life we would like to acquire anything that could increase our safety.
      • If there are any trade goods or resources that she would like in exchange we are more than willing to negotiate with her
  • Misc
    • if it seems safe/interesting, make Orochimaru's egg custard. Try it. Save some for Ami.
    • Research chakrascope
    • Check with Mari & Kei if can get back to FOOM

This section implies that we're only doing the telescope examination in private, as opposed to doing [all of the above] in private. I vastly prefer the latter.

I like the plan, especially because we're trying to see what resources the Arachnid have and if they can help, in fact, i would suggest to change it from "Jutsu" to "Jutsu or other resources". The Toads for example know Sage Mode, and there could be something helpful for us with the Arachnids that isn't a jutsu.
What do you mean with "Naruto would be willing to come over" do you mean live in the estate?

Personally i think my previous feedback on the other plan is still useful here

Personally i would appreciate talk Mari/Kei about the possible Yamanaka resolve jutsu, find out if it exists, how could we obtain it. It would be easiest way to improve FOOM we just never even started investigating it.
Also the FOOM situation, did enough time pass? Should we find a FOOM safely regardless of the ANBU survelliance?
Particularly the part when we try to research Minato's seal with 0/1 FP, we could add a "If FP < X, research this simpler seal instead".
