...ah, I just realized something. People only get to roll Athletics to get away when you try to engage with them, not simply when you enter their zone, right? So Syrup Trap is still perfectly useful.
I'm fairly certain there's an opposed athletics roll in there somewhere, even if it's not in normal fate. Not exactly - Fate doesn't use strict engagement rules, instead handling trying to stay out of melee by moving between Zones. Which is based on Athletics, so if you close on someone and glue them down then they can't run on their turn, so you're quite right there.
Do we really need to vote-in a plan which references a plan which indirectly references another plan?
What are you pinging him for? I'm the one who has to handle this. *grumble, grumble*@Velorien or planmakers, quoting nested plans below for convenience
*wakes up*
*grabs phone like addict grabs needle*
*sees the hot mess about to land in his lap*
We need to make a rule going forward: No nested plans.

Isn't the deadline for Saturdays usually noon-ish EST?
Note: This has been insightful-ed by our dark and feathery overlord.
Note well: Our dark and feathery overlord is displeased with the current logistical state of affairs.
Methinks it best to fix this beforehand, yeah?

Hello! (And good morning to some of you!)
- Perhaps we can vote for the plan that is literally the winning plan, but formatted in a way that is a bit easier for the QM to parse? ([x] Self-sufficiency)
- Or @faflec can copypaste "[x] Self-sufficiency" and edit the current plan.
- Perhaps don't unvote the currently winning plan unless you want something you didn't really want to win, to win, by the way.
Don't worry about it. It doesn't actually look to bad, I'm simply having horrifying visions of the future if this gets out of hand.
9am, meaning about 40 minutes from now. Always has been, except for a few times when I was (e.g.) traveling. The confusing part is that I don't always get to the computer to close voting exactly at 9, and I'm too lazy to figure out what post was 9am and therefore when to stop the tally. So, in reality, it's "whenever I close the tally, which is usually right at 9am but could be a bit later."
Ah, I must be conflating the two. Still-9am, meaning about 40 minutes from now. Always has been, except for a few times when I was (e.g.) traveling. 12pm (London Time) is Thursday.

Made changes to my plan FYI.
