I don't think we've started yet. That's what I thought. So then the first road to Tanzaku Gai should be about done, right?
It's possible that Noburi has been going out and doing this...but I don't think Asuma would risk deploying him, even domestically, until we've got a handle on this whole world war thing."If Asuma were authorizing till'n'fills, yes. He won't unless and until AMITY pays out and the peace is secure. We could find twice that many Earth-aspect genin but I don't think it would be worth it. Apparently there's a hefty startup cost to get the jutsu working and then it absorbs as much extra chakra as you want to throw at it in order to produce wall. The width and height are always the same, it's just the length that depends on chakra spent. Genin's smaller reserves would make them less efficient."
...AMITY (the exam portion) began on the 25th of March. I don't know when we expect negotiations to end - it doesn't sound like we know what's going on at this point. Kei or Shika might, but they might be sworn to secrecy, too.
Done. Thanks for the reminder.
Yeahhhhh, that would not be ideal. If I can find an extra word (probably from the description of cheesy romantic activities) I might slip in 'rudely silenced a guest', but I'm hoping that sort of thing is clear from context and I do not want this to come across as 'Noburi, control your wife'.
His character sheet has 'foot in mouth' and I don't feel good about our ability to navigate the situation given how close we are to everyone involved. Someone with some emotional distance feels better-suited to the task.Maybe we should offer Hazōas sacrificeas a mediator? He's clan head, so holds authority in Yuno's mind, and for the same reason it could be considered his duty to do this kind of thing. I also think he'd be perfectly fine at it, which in the ninja world is a glowing recommendation.
Mostly reposting from Discord:Offscreen:
- Spend a day with Ino. Focus on your (individual) relationship with her. Plan some activities of varying moods (exciting, calm, overtly/subtly romantic) and follow her lead.
- Continue MARS research.
We could include Kagome in the research, and spend the meantime catching him up on our ARS research.Mostly reposting from Discord:
To get to 29 Sealing, we need a total of 168 XP. Hazo currently has 24 Sealing XP banked, so we can reduce that to 144 Sealing XP Required.
If the current training plan for Hazo is implemented, he will have 47 Resolve which equals 14 SC training blocks a day. If we take 3 away to read the sealing notes alongside Prime, that leaves him with a 1.1x FOOM multiplier and 16 Sealing XP/day. This means that in 9 days, Hazo could accumulate enough Sealing XP to switch over to FOOM full time.
Could you add mention of taking a "standard" 10 day cycle for the update? This should get us enough to level Sealing to 29 next chapter.
I would also recommend removing the bit about researching MARS. It is not safe to do so at our current Sealing and Calligraphy, especially not with only 2 FP in the tank. We could instead research something simpler, like the pressure activated activator seal for civilians to be able to use storage seals. Perhaps worth crowdsourcing a replacement seal.

There is an easier way to keep F from blackmailing us with that action. Also, F's going to use that as blackmail against us, so we should stay as far away from her as we can until we're S-rank and can laugh at treason.
You could ask the QMs directly if Noburi thinks he can now that he has a bit more spare chakraCan I suggest querying Noburi as to whether he thinks he can train his internal reserves now through more traditional means?
The smaller your reserves initially, the longer and harder you need to train to be able to feel them. In particular, you almost certainly need someone who actually knows what it feels like to be guiding you through the process and helping you weed out false positives ("No, that wasn't you feeling your chakra reserves, that was your stomach rumbling. Time for lunch.") Civilians have absolutely miniscule reserves on a ninja scale, implying that it would take a crazy amount of time and effort to get them to the level the party was at when the quest started. I believe last time this was brought up @Velorien (or maybe @eaglejarl?) said something like "the idea of teaching civilians to use chakra would be heresy if it weren't so absurd".
So Little
This cold and gloomy yestermorn
I wandered a dark and dusty street
A fruit man I happened on to meet
Long-gone 'twas, the day he was born
Face like an apple, wrinkled and brown
Rheumy eyes, two teeth, and a smile so round
"Praise be," he cried aloud
"Why so?" I asked.
"I've my apples and home," he said, his voice so proud
"From Mist did I flee,
"To make a new home beneath your mighty tree,
"Protected I am, by all from genin to thee,
"Medicine for me and school for the lad,
"And for him a greater life than I've had."
I smiled, brave and bright and wide to hide that my feelings were sad
How little he asked, how small a gift for him I had.
Which is why I think it could be worth his time to pursue now that he has non-1 reserves.
I don't think "marginally stronger than a civilian's" is enough to boost him to "able to feel internal chakra reserves".Consultation with a friendly Hyūga reveals that the chakra in his body has doubled, which makes it only marginally stronger than a civilian's.
I mean, he sort of has an advantage when it comes to feeling his internal reserves, being as he can now drain himself.I don't think "marginally stronger than a civilian's" is enough to boost him to "able to feel internal chakra reserves".
