So after we wrap up dealing with Yasuji we should probably start prepping for our next scroll hunt. Grabbing the Kraken scroll will be a pretty nice get
I want to check on Honoka first. A physical condition can worsen as time goes on and we've left it lying for a bit too long for my comfort. Are the medical bills being taken care of? How's her family doing financially? How's she holding up, emotionally? She's just a kid.
Edit: I'm struck by the idea that Yuno and Honoka would get along like a grainhouse on fire. Let's introduce them!
Yasuji
- Goal: Work towards an actual deal. We do want a new barrel for Noburi and the koi.
- Method: Be friendly and straightforward, but treat him seriously. You'd like to work with him to assemble an offer the Wakahisa would accept.
- Have breakfast together and then talk to him in private, in your office.
- Float the idea of selling Kagome's modifications to Noburi's barrel.
I'm a bit concerned that trading for clan secrets with a foreign nation may have Consequences, both from Asuma and from Ren (should it ever get out). Methinks we should ask Asuma what his stance on this, both in terms of trading our clan secrets and in terms of trading for the Wakahisa's.Clan secrets are in many cases the village's most powerful weapons. The implications of trading them with representatives of a foreign military are quite intuitive.
Though it is weird that the Mizukage doesn't have a problem with it.I'm a bit concerned that trading for clan secrets with a foreign nation may have Consequences, both from Asuma and from Ren (should it ever get out). but he can negotiate for his clan in his role as an important member, provided that those negotiations don't interfere with his ambassadorial duties. Basically, if it's clan-internal then neither Kurosawa nor the Mizukage will care too much
I don't think there's a general rule that proximity to chakra makes seal failures worse. There was the case of Nightlight seals back in the Exams, where that was a concern, but it was because chakra was being directly injected into the seal, and that whole concern was retconned away so it's non-binding on the QMs.Aren't Wakahisa barrel essentially bombs?
They're massive pools of chakra in a barrel with seals. If any seal is damaged there's a potential for a seal failure.
Seal failure + lots of chakra = boom (probably?)
It may or may not be "designed" as opposed to "chakra works that way".Moreover, it's known to be possible to set up failsafe behaviour for seals. Storage seals are designed to expel their contents or vanish them into the Out when destroyed, which is why when Fifi claws at Hazou's chest and tears some storage seals it's only 'dang, we lost the contents of that seal' instead of sealing failures.
someone a VERY long time ago said:Q: What is the savagery zones surrounding Konoha that determine how many chakra beasts and danger level as measured distance from Konoha.
Here's my current plan if anyone has edits they would like[X] Action plan: Stable time loop
- Discuss Yasuji sitiuation with Asuma
- Long term it would be benificial if a Mist Clan head owed his accedancy to Konoha
- And making sure that Noburi's branch of the Goketsu is fully empowered is good for Leaf
- Ami has shown us how much influence is possible to gather in a forgein village
- Image that influence directly in the hands of a Kage instead of in opposition to it
- We have some ideas that might entice Yasuji that we would like to discuss in a purely hypothetical manner
- jutsu from the 7th path
- From the toads and an other scrolls that Goketsu might acquire
- sealing instruction from Kagome
- Which would have the benefit of bringing Kiri-nin to leaf to learn and see the wonders of Konoha
- Some of Jiriaya's seals
- trade with Konoha through the 7th path
- Of course we would never do anything to endanger our relationship with the Hokage so if any of these hypotheticals where unworkable it would be nice to know
- Time loop
- The next morning Hazou precommits that if he ever invents seals that allow for time travel he will leave them on a specific hill at a specefic time
- Go there and wait
I'm sort of curious how you'll interpret the Time Loop part, @Velorien.

Damn, ninja'd!
We would very much not be messing with time. Time would be messing with us but I can go ahead and remove it

By the official jutsu doc, Shadow Clone can be used for training if it is at or above level 30, at which point our clones can last for 'a few hours'. Each training block of 'a few hours' with which we have a Shadow Clone training gives us +10% XP for that day. So if we gain 4 XP that day, then having one Shadow Clone training block in that day bumps us up to 4.4 XP.What exactly is FOOM? I get the concept with abusing shadows clones, but cant get exact mechanics.. Could somebody help me up?
added back in. Who am I to question Noumero?
What would we need to check with the clan with?Stable time loop doesn't have us checking with clan beforehand.
Whether it's ok to ask Asuma about offering very valuable things like toad jutsu to Yasuji. As we've seen with Naruto, merely talking about things can get Hazou in big trouble.
Whatever you want? What do you want to happen next?
