Chiefly, I havent done that yet because I was almost certain we would vote to go easy on her or something, and then all the effort would be wasted. If we commit to not throwing in the towel, I will give it a good faith effort.

I would be willing to leave the planning to Hazou rather than optimizing it ourselves, but that's not the same thing as going easy on her. Hazou is canonically quite good at battle plans himself independent of the hivemind's influence.
Of course... the real obstacle is Noburi. If we somehow defeat Kei we will then have to face our favourite brother S-rank McS-rankface, who has been receiving secret XP, doing secret training, and going on S-rank missions.

Seal everything but the pin used for firing the ballista, so that when it's unsealed, the bolt immediately fires? Seems well within the reach of the current sealing tech we have. Do we have any guarantees as to which direction things point when they're unsealed?

It was in response to my post of "Fake injury" but I didnt intend this as an emotional manipulation.
By the way, we should suck it up and ask Anko for some good nonlethal nonpermanent poisons/sedatives/paralytics whatever.
I doubt she has compunctions against letting little boys play with toys that they are too young to be playing with.
As an aside: Our personal clearance level when it comes to dangerous chemicals/toys/what have you should be:
"I'm a sealmaster. When it comes to playing with dangerous shit on a daily basis for fun and games, I outrank you."
