[x] Action Plan: Lightcone-Ending OPSEC Incident, Narrowly Avoided
To be honest, I'm not sure there'd be room in the chapter for that second scene. @Velorien hasn't been active lately, suggesting he's still busy, which usually correlates with short chapters unless Keiko or Ami are involved, and the first scene is going to be long on its own.
I'm gonna have to object to trying diplomacy at the same time we're stealing fish. Particularly learning IN secrets. That's a really bad look.
This seems vague. Who is "the clan"? Are we including Haru, who has no idea about this? The Ishihara and Yamamoto civilians?
I feel that if there are tests they could run that could distinguish between an Out-infested Hazou and a Out-free Hazou, they would have done it a month ago.Any tests they'd like to run? Otherwise, you'd like to be cleared for sealing research.
It's probably not sufficient evidence on its own, but I would argue it is fairly strong evidence in favour of Hazou not being possessed.More importantly, I don't like the implication of this section (that the absence of Out incidents means that we can be cleared, assuming there aren't any tests they'd like to run), as I would not find said absence as compelling enough evidence to clear Hazou for seal research.
- Separately, discuss your quarantine with Mari and Kagome.
- It's been a month, you've been fairly active, and there hasn't been incidents.
- Do they think it's sufficient to be cleared?
Are they known to be sophonts in mfd? I feel like if they had been shown to be capable of human language we would have chatted about that enough for me to remember, or that the QMs would have presented it to us in a way that might incite some interesting philosophical conversations or something.Random and Pointless Thought:
What's the difference between an Inuzuka dog and a Dog Summon? Both are capable of speech, both are self-aware beings with the capacity for communication, both can use chakra techniques that are unique to them, and they're both made up of a wide variety of different breeds. So what's the difference? Because it seems to me, at first glance, that the only difference is one pals around with a group of humans, and the others pal around of the Seventh Path.
I'm assuming that the line about Mari learning TH is to complement the second line (i.e. 'Mari would you be willing to find a way to make a version of SC Noburi can use?') but right now the connection looks ambiguous to me. At worst, Hazou might just spring that question with minimal context and confuse Mari with a non-sequiter.
- Mari, would you be willing to re-specialize into a Technique Hacker?
- Noburi, don't resign yourself to merely being the crucial component behind the clan's meteoric rise to power: we should be able to TH you a usable SC variant eventually, too.
Yeah, that looks great. Might end up taking it for my plan, didn't think it could work out well like that. Shows what I knowIt's probably not sufficient evidence on its own, but I would argue it is fairly strong evidence in favour of Hazou not being possessed.
Good points regarding the rest. Is this better?:
#missingthepoint[X] Action Plan: Tenchi in Konoha
Agree with @eaglejarl you should include age appropriate boys and non-binary people
modify it to include something like "tell them you need practice at dealing with girls and ask for volunteers to go on a purely platonic 'date'."
[X] Action Plan: Tenchi in Konoha
Create a sealing failure that takes you into the Tenchi Muyo! universe, swapping you with the main protagonist of said series. Cry, and get up to shenanigans.
I think I can optimize this further, but eh. This will have to do for now.
Have another abomination-plan.

Discuss with Mari and Noburi beforehand, in utmost security (in the wilderness, Tunneling Exavaction-ed underground beyond Byakugan range, Air Domes, <Mari's security jutsu>).
Separately, discuss your quarantine with Mari and Kagome.
- Explain the details of Shadow Clone, and our guesstimates.
- We suspect that with enough chakra to summon ~30 clones daily and years of training to deal with clone sickness, learning speed could be quadrupled.
- Rough analogy: If Hazou had Jiraiya's talent, he could catch up within a decade.
- Thanks to Noburi, we'll soon have this. Within a decade, we'll all hit S-rank.
- This is our path to broadly fix the world within our lifetime.
- But there are people who could abuse this harder.
- Orochimaru's already S-rank and has access to exotic abilities that could offset clone sickness. All he'd need is a Wakahisa to attain godhood.
- Ami's also in this position should she learn SC. How likely is this?
- Clans in general, due to sheer numbers.
- They may not have chakra transfer, but Hazou imagines Noburi would be pressured to provide services.
- This is clearly a need-to-know secret even within the clan, for now.
- We believe chakra transfer and SC haven't interacted before, and SC-users consider it a weapon instead of a training tool, so this may not have been discovered yet. How do we keep it this way, now that Leaf has VD?
- Should we spread subtle disinformation about VD?
- Plant evidence suggesting it's bad at interfacing with certain chakra constructs?
- Handle Ebisu's concerns on Honoka.
- Search Leaf General Hospital's archives for evidence of Ebisu's claims.
- Get details/numbers of crippled kids.
- Talk to survivors and get their stories.
- Follow-up on other leads.
- Talk with Kagome. Bring Mari and Noburi.
- Explain Ebisu's concerns and suggestions.
- Show him our collected evidence. Offer to arrange meetings with survivors.
- Ask Kagome how he wants to proceed.
- Make sure he won't harming Ebisu.
- We do believe Honoka's fine. Ebisu thinks overexertion was the cause, but Kagome'd never do that to Honoka.
- OTOH, Ebisu doesn't think Kagome can change his mind. Leaf holds his teaching skills in high regard, which may impact Kagome's desire for education reform.
Misc.:
- It's been a month, you've been fairly active, and there haven't been any incidents.
- Do they think it's sufficient to be cleared?
- Continue research into Skysliders, sanitation, etc..
- Use the scientific method and work with Kunihiro to isolate important factors.
- Perform Ami-style training daily.
HDK, but I would presume that he'd expect Mari to have something.Does Hazou know Mari's security jutsu? If not, then once Mari's ready to talk, I suggest we have them bond over it. It'd be valuable if Hazou has to have a secure conversation without Mari being able to be present. Oh... if Mari's willing to teach it. It might be a genjutsu and I know that she feels as though her techniques are something evil that should die with her.

You're right.Okay, so I've been fine with the assassination plans, the necromancy, wanting to apprentice under Oro, the neverending stream of WMDs. Let them have their fun, I thought. How bad can it possibly be in practice, I reasoned. Everything was going to be ok.
This, though? This is a bridge too far. Nobody deserves this.
