Because sleep is key to long term memory formation.

I'm guessing he's re-read the quest several times. Lots of read throughs would help the details stick in mind. Most of us probably don't want to make that kind of time commitment for something we've read once, though.SLEEP IS FOR THE WEAK!

My memory has always been shite. Plus, I feel that keeping track of every secondary character in 1.2 million words of quest is a bit much to ask for. How @faflec does this, I have no idea.

Ankifying?I find wikifying and ankifying information help.
Plus, if people were a bit diligent on wikifying information, this list might have helped.

I made a forum that breaks the space-time continuum. Basically whenever I see one of you guys have a question I post it onto the forum and all my past selves, who can easily recall everything that happened over the past day or so, can fact-check it for me.
The Faflec-verse.
Should doesn't mean is. Technology isn't a tree, it's a vast field.@OliWhail @eaglejarl @Velorien
Why do we have Hazo being shocked at printed things, exactly? There should already be woodblock printing.
More of a rainforest really.Should doesn't mean is. Technology isn't a tree, it's a vast field.
Ugh. I frequently go back and re-read old chapters and/or discussion, but I stick to the newer parts. I can't stand my early chapters.I'm guessing he's re-read the quest several times. @faflec, if this is what you're doing then you have my apologies.

Also, REALLY!? REALLY!? WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU HAVE AKANE DO THAT!?
Spaced repetition flashcard system.
Passive reading is in fact one of the worst way to learn anything. It gives you the illusion of knowing and fluency as the words get repeated back to you.
What you want to do is active reading, which is the process of asking yourself question after you read a passage or attempt to summarize information, because you're doing the act of recalling information which will strengthen mental traces. This will make you feel more uncomfortable, but the process really help people learn.

I believe the seal doesn't suck air in, it 'instantly' seals air in the surrounding area, and the onrushing air that destroys the seal is from the vacuum collapsing. The planned technique is putting the seal between two solid, polished pieces of granite, or tied-together steel, or such. Though, since we never actually do real research we don't know anything for sure.Hmm, interesting. In this case I think the best way to prep implosion seals would be to place layers of permeable but thick material around the implosion seal. With the goal of slowing down the inrushing air so that it doesn't obliterate the seal. Like pop filters are used to eliminate
"plosives" (the puffs of air that come out of your mouth when you make a hard consonant sound like a "p") when it comes to recording vocals on mics. Maybe making a 5sb wooden frame in which we'd place the implosion seal, and covering the outside of the frame with heaps of thick wool blankets or something.
I'm confused. How is screaming useful for remembering specific details?
So now that we are back in leaf and hopefully have no fires to put out what are some medium term plans that y'all want to work on? Things that we can start laying the ground work for that will pay off in a month or so.
A long shot, but if we find anything exploitable there — ways to improve intelligence bloodlines or their users' performance, ways to replicate some of their effects with seals, ways to combine them — that would be incredibly useful. (We're in a pretty unique position here, too, having direct access to a Mori and a Nara.)
No, actually, Keiko will remain part of the Goketsu. If she'd chosen to marry into the Nara, that'd be the case.I would really like to do the Chakra Quantification Project since it can lead to development of the Scientific Method. Having it it will be much more easier for us to put some ideas into Hazous brain.
Also, sage-damned secretary!
We shoul hurry up, because Keiko soon will be part of Nara which implies that she will be around less and that Nara would have access to both Nara and Mori. By the way, this research may or may not be the hidden motive they had for inviting Keiko into the clan.
So next update y'all cool with trying to get Orchimaru a message? We could Have the pangolins deliver through the snakes.
As long as we 'get' Orochimaru the message through Jiraiya (when he gets back if you're patient; through the Pangolins if not). Since, well...we don't actually know who knows that the other S-rank missing-nin is in Leaf that we can ask to send a message. Jiraiya's fighting at Nagi Island, Shikaku's (presumably) also fighting at Nagi Island, and we don't really know all that many other ninja who would be trustworthy to ask the question without Consequences AND high-ranking enough to help us get the ball rolling. So next update y'all cool with trying to get Orchimaru a message? Oh, then I'm absolutely good with it. Gotta figure out what the content of the message is, so J doesn't freak out, but should be fine.I mean in this plan we would be conducting it through the summon realm. No reason to bring in any other ninja.
