  • Spend a week studying J's notes with SCs.
  • Purchase MARS-suitable seals in reasonable quantities from other sealmasters.
  • Scheme with Ino and Akane: Take control of the public narrative.
    • Hire acting troupes to put on sfw performances of Jiraiya's works/missions. Pay generously, draw attention to how many stories J wrote and war stories he had (implying stable work), don't work with troupes that take part in the smear campaign, and let incentives do the rest.
    • Be seen with both Ino and Akane publicly laughing at the less insulting of the opponent's plays, and generally being "in on the joke", and "a good sport" about them, thereby proving them misleading to the audience.

i don't think our clan mates really need better jutsu (excepting atomu for whom handless jutsu would be great). they already got armor, and KEI has stuff. the more important factor is adopting them faster, and maybe giving them explosive seals.
if we focused on jutsu that doesn't need much XP would be better
also the rift just sounds like a power grab to me. vague thoughts of combining seals/jutsu? if you add requiring mari to ok it, i guess it's ok. i don't want her to optimize it though, that makes social stuff feel fake. and would be bad if naruto finds out

Apologies, @Oneiros, but IV's made a good point that this change happened late in the cycle, and I'd rather do less... controversial changes this late in.

      • Search particularly for seals that would play well with MARS. The intention here is to improve our MARS loadout for future missions.
      • Things to offer in exchange, in approximate order of desirability to do so, to the limits of our capacity to do so: Money, influence, a vetted sealing project within X timeframe (intended to be after effective sealing is ~80, so 2 years or so?), providing seals for tower requirements (The X storage/explosive scrolls required monthly of a sealmaster), our time (in the immediate sense), missions in the near term taken for their benefit
    • Go over all the rewards we got from trading with Oro

Fine with leaving what exact business partnership you make up to you, but it would be nice to say who you're forming a partnership with. Choosing Hagoromo is different than choosing Amori is different than choosing Hyuuga is different than choosing Akimichi. I will admit that there may not be enough information on the Gouketsu's relationships with various clans to make this decision effectively. Would it be helpful to have an infopost about Gouketsu's current relationship with other clans?

Hey, Jiraiya's works were famous for a reason. Fairly funny and advances the plays plotline.

...That's a good question, where is the money that Icha Icha presumably still makes going? Do we have the, uh, copyright-equivalent?

Glass industry Action Plan for future votes.

  • Talk to Shino about a joint venture in the glasswork industry
    • The Goketsu has a large concentration of talent and interest.
      • We have lot of craftsmen and engineers, some of them are known for their innovation
      • We have interest in glassworks for various applications(Lab equipment, microscopy & telescope, eyewear protection, etc)
    • Cooperation is better
      • We are willing to invest a large sum of money for R&D and expansion of business to get what we want.
        • We don't expect this to pay off for a long time(Mention skysliders if allowed by Asuma)
      • Don't care to earn enmity from elbowing out clans out of their economic niches.
        • This is more about enabling technologies and capabilities than profit.
  • Commision eyewear protection for the Goketsu clan.

Waaaaiiiit. Earthshaping can affect gemstones... did we try that with simple glass? I think i remember a bunch of questions had been asked about what Earthshaping can or cannot affect, but I don't remember which (my research fu isn't on point today).
If we can Earthshape glass then we won't even need the Aburame (we should still work with them rather than against them. Why? Because it's better to have them as friends than enemies)

Doesn't work on glass unfortunately, we'd need to make quartz lenses or something
