The Iron Nerve isn't magic. It helps, yes, but it's not as simple as "be shown once, become perfect master".I mean, if we don't, all we need is one session with Hana to correct those flaws, forever.

Aside from the fact that yes, chakra magic and especially bloodline magic is in fact magic, I get the point. I'd like to ask though; what would Dancing be, as a skill? Would it be a stunt that Iron Nerve can cheapen? The Iron Nerve isn't magic. It helps, yes, but it's not as simple as "be shown once, become perfect master".
I don't think Iron Nerve would help that much because a lot of the time you need to adjust your movements according to the height and movement of your partner.Aside from the fact that yes, chakra magic and especially bloodline magic is in fact magic, I get the point. The same could be argued for all of Hazou's other IN-boosted skills, like Taijutsu, or Athletics. It probably helps mechanically.I don't think Iron Nerve would help that much because a lot of the time you need to adjust your movements according to the height and movement of your partner.

On the other hand I am unironically quite sure that Hana would love to help teach Hazou to dance. The Iron Nerve isn't magic. It helps, yes, but it's not as simple as "be shown once, become perfect master".
I'm not sure whether I should be happy or worried that we got to discussing the mechanical effects of Iron Nerve on the Dance skill without anyone stopping to ask why Hazou needed to dance...
'Cause if he don't dance then he ain't no friend of mine.I'll bite. What is your diabolical scheme that requires Hazō to be able to dance?
Since we will probably have a month to prepare before the tournament starts I was wondering what everyone thinks we should spend our time preparing? New Jutsu? Kurosawa secret punching technique? Kurosawa social techniques? Original seal research? Scribe a ton of Jiraiya's seals? Go on a quest to find the condor summoner and take there scroll?
Honestly it depends on who the other tournament fighters are and how we could exploit any of their possible weaknesses. Seal research IMO might take a bit longer and we can always scribe seals for Jiraiya to infuse for us, so it's probably better to get new jutsu/punching powers.Since we will probably have a month to prepare before the tournament starts I was wondering what everyone thinks we should spend our time preparing? How would we improve macerators, though; and would it be an effective use of our time? I'm worried because mechanically I feel improving macerators wouldn't give us that much of a skill boost, whereas improving combat skills through leveling taijutsu, ninjutsu, or related skills could.I'm pretty sure Jiraiya could get us somewhere private enough for sealing research if we asked him to, which would let us improve on macerators.
Improving macerators takes time, not XP. Improving skills takes XP and time. How would we improve macerators, though; and would it be an effective use of our time? Except we can't train and research at the same time, and unless we have enough time to research and train (separately) we'd end up sitting on our XP pool.Improving macerators takes time, not XP. Improving skills takes XP and time.
That said, very easily: Just make them shoot faster. Combine that with figuring out different payloads (ceramics filled with poison, etc), and we'd do well.
True. So include in the training plan that training comes 'first', so to speak -- they happen simultaneously, but run the XP dry by the end.Except we can't train and research at the same time, and unless we have enough time to research and train (separately) we'd end up sitting on our XP pool.
Flashbangs are a very strong option. We might be able to get some help with that from Jiraiya.Any seals or types of Jutsu that anyone would like to attempt to discover? One thing we definitely should do is finally make flashbangs seals and defenses against them
