@Ronan O'Brien : That gets all the feels. Thank you, it's a brilliant Christmas present.
My understanding is that breaking a storage seal normally causes the sealed object to be unsealed. That said, I've also never seen us particularly concerned about storage seals being damaged while we've been ninja-ing (and we've got quite a few of them normally), so I'm unsure. The wiki says:
"The tag is destroyed by the inrushing air, which causes all the air that it sealed to reappear in a small area, at which point it goes surging out with enough force to wreck a building."
About the implosion seal. Do storage seals act the same way when destroyed? Couldn't we use a giant pile of storage seals in conjunction with a unmanned glider and a sufficiently high platform to level a city at night?
That'd still work for a more targeted strike. Multiple 100kg payloads falling from above would damage a structure pretty badly. I wonder what techniques hidden villages have for detecting something flying above the village at night time.My understanding is that breaking a storage seal normally causes the sealed object to be unsealed. Yep. Plan "carpet bomb via storage seal" is, so far as we can tell, the primary offensive advantage we may have given Jiraiya by revealing the sealing towers (ignoring the obvious uses as observation and communication platforms). Like, before you needed an elite ninja who had some weird flying jutsu which still allowed them to unseal things for carpet bombing. Now you can just use a genin or two with some easily mass-produced seals. That'd still work for a more targeted strike. Boy is he gonna be happy when we give him the ability to unseal shit a kilometer up and ten awayYep. Merry Christmas, everybody!
A couple of guys asked me to draw something for this quest, so here's the christmas pangolin, Santaa!
Check up on Akane, attempt to encourage her
- Remind her of the good times we have
- Beach episode
- Games
- Sparring
- Remind her of the times she's done really well
- Compliment her construction of the towers that let us find Arikada
- Compliment her demolition of the zombies --> she did better than we did
- The times she's been positive: she's been a huge encouragement to Hazou
- Point out things we have to look forward to
- We can work more closely with Leaf now.
- We've stopped Arikada from doing more harm in the world!
Ahahahah. I suspect the QMs just felt a chill run down their spines.Random question, @eaglejarl @Velorien: Has Hazou ever heard of a limit to the number of times you can use a storage seal before it stops working?
- Apologies (Auntie, Team Asuma)
- Talking to Nara about what we read in Vol 1 so far
- Next visit to Akane. Talk about library and printing press, get her started on the path towards Mass Production specialty?
Something like this?straw practice dummies, painted alternately in green and white.
Could prolly go offscreen, but has fun character stuff that'll probably end up onscreen:
I'd like to follow up on Tenten as well; she's apparently a pacifist sealmistress prodigy, which is pretty promising. Plus, helping Keiko make a friend! (Uh, without stepping on her toes wrt her "overcoming incredible barriers to decide things on my own" arc.)
This is downright beautiful. Thank you so much!Merry Christmas, everybody!

You already know she throws shuriken that way. Maybe if you give it time and opportunity, she'll progress to kunai. We don't know if she throws kunai that way yet, or at all, but we should probably still encourage them to spend time together.
This lone makes me wonder if this is serious. If it is, I'm sorry for being insensitive, and I hope you excel in your classes.
Good luck with your studies. Look after yourself. Hopefully one day you'll come back to this quest, catch up on the thread, and go "well, that sealcrafting research is sure going well... huh, they're netting a lot of XP from that nonad... so that's what Orochimaru was really up to... wait, they still haven't won?!"I am quilting this game
Enough is enough
I lost 5 years of my study
Gess what I am 24 in September
I an only year 2 in university
All my friends finished their degrees
I am an expert in this field but I need to catch up on real life
So apology for leaving you at this stage
I am sure you will arrive without me
Goodbye friends
A seal idea that is hopefully not too high tech, that was briefly discussed on the Discord server today/yesterday: a seal that, when placed on a solid surface, prevents chakra adhesion to that surface within some (preferably large) radius.
Makes walls not wall-walkable.
All the best to you. It's been a pleasure having you as a player, and I'm sure you'll do just as well in the real world.I am quilting this game

This actually reminds me of a question I had. What would happen if we replaced individual brushstrokes with a stamping equivalent? I.e., if we stamped each individual brushstroke in the appropriate order instead of drawing them by hand, would it still form a seal?@Sigil, we cannot print seals with a printing press. The specific order and thickness of brushstrokes matters, you can't just stamp them down at once. Maybe possibly we could specifically research seals that are designed to be stamped, but I would want to hold off on that until like Sealing 25.
A brushstroke is a stroke. It is a form of interaction between the chakra ink and the paper which has a point of origin, a direction, a form and a terminus. You're welcome to inquire of Kagome what would happen if you, say, reversed the stroke direction when writing a seal, but I suspect you already know what he'd say. This actually reminds me of a question I had. If we can do this it shouldn't be too hard to create an automated seal printing press that works by moving the paper down a line.
