Yeah, that's sort of the idea behind having Akane make a writing duplicator. So, you make a stroking machine instead of a stamping machine that's used in a typical printing press.
If Konoha have a printing press, they could develop a machine that print seals instead.
Mori and Wakahisa are traditionally seen as support-type ninja, not front-line fighters. Mist probably didn't think their lives would be that at-risk.Not sure why Keiko or Noburi would have been seen as expendable. Maybe to show the clans that Yagura is still boss?
Don't forget also thatMori and Wakahisa are traditionally seen as support-type ninja, not front-line fighters. Mist probably didn't think their lives would be that at-risk.
Wait, the genin were actually picked because "fuck 'em"? I thought that was just a cover for Shikigami to justify us being there.Don't forget also that
a) Shikigami influenced the selection
and
b) there is evidence that the genin chosen were problem children (like Hazō), as opposed to a purely utilitarian choice
Who knows? But you know for a fact that Hazō was a problem kid, and it is very, very easy to see where Keiko would have been one.Wait, the genin were actually picked because "fuck 'em"? I thought that was just a cover for Shikigami to justify us being there.
Huh.
and it is very, very easy to see where Keiko would have been one.
Actually, that's where I was having some trouble. I'm not sure how much of Keiko's current issues are a result of suffering a breakdown after the mission went south and what she was like before.
Wouldn't be surprised if Noburi had a chip on his should before.
Yo btw @Saint I don't think I ever said welcome to the thread! Glad to see a new face
This is the problem with our existing research in sealcrafting, it mostly comes across as throwing stuff at a wall until it sticks. And as such why can't we throw printing presses at the wall until one sticks or is close enough.A brushstroke is a stroke. It is a form of interaction between the chakra ink and the paper which has a point of origin, a direction, a form and a terminus. You're welcome to inquire of Kagome what would happen if you, say, reversed the stroke direction when writing a seal, but I suspect you already know what he'd say.
I can't even express how much I anticipate Kagome screaming at this ideaThis is the problem with our existing research in sealcrafting, it mostly comes across as throwing stuff at a wall until it sticks. I expect it seems like throwing shit at the wall because QMs don't feel like making up tons of sealing theory gobbledygook to throw at us, meaning we the players only see the most superficial layers of what's happening in-story.
Because Jiraiya, Auntie and the Hokage would take turns murderising you. Printing presses are expensive. And as such why can't we throw printing presses at the wall until one sticks or is close enough.
Yeah, but we could probably make them less expensive with some effort.Because Jiraiya, Auntie and the Hokage would take turns murderising you. Printing presses are expensive.

Too bad she's still a stinking Leaf ninja stinker. The way Kagome makes friends is utterly charming, incidentally.
Yeah, but she likes books, so she can't be all bad.
THAT'S JUST WHAT THEY WANT YOU TO THINK.
I just imagined us conquering Iron to use as a salt export factory, and renaming it the Land of Salt.
How are we going to do that if every nation is jealous of another's prosperity, let alone Iron as the upstart?
