THIS IS TERRIBLE WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU[X] Action Subplan: Akane: Shipper's Delight
Ask Akane how you know when you like someone. She's older than you, she probably has it figured out, right? Watch her blush, let her respond. Then tell her she checks off all those boxes for you (or a lot of them; don't lie if she brings up things that don't apply). Probably hold her hand or brush her hair off her forehead or something, I'm pretty sure that's what people do with people they like.
Let's compromise: I'll vote for this if you avoid bringing up engineering texts except if she asks for something productive to do?
Don't tempt meSounds like someone's jealous. Why don't you work on getting Ino in the hospital so we can go all hurt/comfort on her?
Sure! And who, me? Tempt anyone into ridiculous drama plans? Neeeeever.Let's compromise: I'll vote for this if you avoid bringing up engineering texts except if she asks for something productive to do?
Don't tempt me
[X] Action Subplan: Library of Unknown Unknowns
Goals:
Methods
- Gain general knowledge relevant to our interests
- Gain knowledge relevant to running our merchant empire
- Gain knowledge relevant to Hidden Heaven
- Seek out a wordworking book for Kagome
- Because (1) stress-reduction and (2) we'd rather not have to buy one; the freer the better
- Seek out and read Elemental Nations Vol. 1,2 and 4, unless Nara is willing to lend us a copy (ask him first)
- Because (1) this is good for building rapport, both by showing genuine interest in one of his interests and the Ben Franklin effect and (2) the freer the better
- Read them, starting at the beginning, until either we're finished or are out of time
- Seek out books that are at the root of a large knowledge tree we know nothing of.
- Ask a librarian for an introductory book on every subject we anticipate being relevant to our interests. If we're unsure whether a tree of knowledge is going to be relevant, get an introductory book and give up on it if it's looking like a tree we won't use.
- That is, ask the librarian to iterate through every subject they've divided their nonfiction books into. If we anticipate it being relevant to our interests or are genuinely uncertain, ask for an introductory book in it
- Because, for all we know, there are fields of knowledge that could prove enormously useful but we don't even know they exist to study them.
- Read the introductory bits.
- Order them by importance
- Read them until we're finished or are out of time.
- Seek out books relevant to setting up a merchant empire, if we finish all above books
- Economics
- Geography (or caravan routes, if that book exists)
- Management
- Because there's a good chance we begin setting up our merchant empire before we come back to Konoha or anywhere else civilized enough to have books.
- Read the introductory bits; order them by importance; read them in that order until we're finished or out of time.
- Seek out books relevant to setting up Hidden Heaven, if we finish all above books
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Government
- Because Hidden Heaven is our long-term goal.
- Read the introductory bits; order them by importance; read them in that order until we're finished or out of time.
[X] Action Subplan: Library of Knowing Unknowns
Goals:
Methods
- Use our limited time in the library efficiently to select future targets
- Seek out knowledge relevant to running our merchant empire and / or Hidden Heaven
- Seek out books relevant to personal interests
Contingencies
- Seek out a wordworking book for Kagome
- Because (1) stress-reduction and (2) we'd rather not have to buy one; the freer the better
- Check if the History of the Elemental Nations Vol. 1,2 and 4 are available, unless Nara is willing to lend us his copies (ask him first, and be understanding if he refuses to lend us very expensive books)
- Because (1) this is good for building rapport, both by showing genuine interest in one of his interests and the Ben Franklin effect and (2) the freer the better
- Ask Nara because we were told actually borrowing from the library would likely not be allowed, and we'd like to be able to read in our downtime instead of just at the library.
- Figure out how the library/ies is/are organized - what subject areas are there that relate to politics, social science and psychology, logistics, engineering, chakra and ninja arts (particularly sealing and technique hacking), natural sciences, agriculture, and tactics
- Nicely ask a librarian for an overview of what is present and where it might be found.
- Because being nice helps, and the librarian(s) will know a lot more about what's present than we or even our minders (except quite possibly Nara, since he's a nerd like us).
- If asked why we are interested in these subjects, answer that we anticipate that at least some of them will have low-hanging fruit and/or be relevant to building up our own skills and resources in the mid-to-long term. If asked whether or why we seriously think we're so clever as to personally be able to improve on areas hundreds or thousands of people have worked on, reply that we're afraid that's classified and we can neither confirm nor deny any such thing.
Included. Will go add math now. Both of these plans lack a necessary step 0: doing reconnaissance to see all non-fiction topics available in the library.
Why you no vote for combination?
Every player ever said:Go to the library! Read AALLLLL the things! Find out all the topics that are known to exist and make the GMs give us an exhaustive list of them all!
Do we really need to talk to Akane and go to the library this update? We already have to choose how we respond to Ino and one of the former options should be more than enough for one update.
Actually, what is our itinerary for the rest of the day? Are we booked to go to the library? Are we scheduled to visit Akane again? Do we know which order those events are going to happen in, if they are going to happen at all?
I just don't want to give our QM's a heart attack when they see this latest vote.
Low key expect Kabuto is making Akane a sleeper agent right now.Kabuto told you that she was asleep and shouldn't be disturbed.
I'm both a Hakane and an Akou shipper, but claim that the former term, while referring to the same pairing, should only be reserved for formal occasions.Hakane shippers, hear me! The true menace isn't the force of Inozou shippers at our door, but the Akou shippers in our very midst!
We must root out these quislings wherever they appear!
Fair enough, I was just saying the set of [non-gay-non-asexual teen boys not physically attracted to gals] very probably includes 1000+ people.I claim the set of [gay guys, asexual guys, and guys who have not hit puberty] covers the set of guys not physically attracted to gals
You tried to see Akane when you dropped Noburi off; Kabuto told you that she was asleep and shouldn't be disturbed.
Take your funny and think about what you've done.Low key expect Kabuto is making Akane a sleeper agent right now.
As far as I can tell, 'complex seed' and 'it's complicated' are the same plan under different names
Akou doesn't work for me. It just doesn't leave room for expansion. Hakane on the other hand could easily become Hakanee.I'm both a Hakane and an Akou shipper, but claim that the former term, while referring to the same pairing, should only be reserved for formal occasions.
Just pronounce it "a coo" and it becomes adorable.
