Haru(?) and do a light exploration of the mine without going too far, check with Akane about what she wanted to tell us, check on Honoka's health, punch Naruto's stupid face, avoid Sasuke like the plague, check on skyglider experiments, begin initial research on implosion seals, begin metal testing for sanitation stuff, ask Mari for ideas about what to do with clanless sealscribes, spar with Noburi, Haru, or Akane to reduce stress, scream our annoyance into the Out, have lunch with Ami, ask Ino about Lavender?

I hope we can mend that bridge with Asuma... He's a genuinely good person in a world where that's rare. Maybe if we sent him that fruit basket, he'd be less annoyed with us! xD
And I actually liked this conversation with Naruto. I, much like Hazou, am getting tired of the constant suspicion because of our lingering Other status.

Mari's the wrong person to task. Ask Kagome. Even so, we should come up with our own suggestion on how to use their labor.
I don't see the point of doing this unless we have ideas for improving skyslider development process.
Like building mechanisms for generating winds and building a wind tunnel to test models in. Also, smoke generator to see the flow of air.

Changed Mari to Kagome. My initial reasoning was that she would know how to leverage their use the best, but Kagome has a far better grasp on their skills. Changed it accordingly.
As for the smoke generator and/or wind tunnel, any ideas on how to accomplish that? I feel like the researchers/experimenters we've hired would have a greater chance of success if we brought them ideas on how to build a wind tunnel/smoke generator rather than just giving them the idea and leaving it for them to figure out.
The smoke generator could be smoke sealed away in a scroll, then brought out? Can that be done?
The wind tunnel... something about a low-intensity, long duration wind technique? Do we know if there's a jutsu like that?

Paper fans. They probably exist in medieval Japan, and likely the EN as well. I already used the idea of wind sails from windmills, but apparently that's too much of a leap.
Otherwise, we could scale up the air puffer seal way up like we did with alarm seals.
Burn wood for smoke, then pipe it.
The intention is not to create a wind generation machine but to have controlled conditions to test models in. A building blocks incidental winds which may skew results.

How would the paper fans work? Hire a genin to wave the fan at a near-constant rate for the wind generation?
As for the controlled conditions... we could build a sort of long indoor yard using MEW? A sort of building/testing area that wouldn't have extraneous winds?
Edit: we know it's theoretically possible, since entire apartment complexes were built using MEW. They're not perfect, they're not pretty, but they're functional.
Would the air purifier seal work, scaled up? Do we have the seal knowledge to do that?
I'd be okay with adding that, if Leaf has the piping knowledge... or if Hazou does.

I would assume writing is a skill to level with XP, much like cooking or anything else.. So any writing we create would be horrible and nothing we can put out there, aside from letting Mari read it and laugh at us.
We could invite them to the beach episode?
I feel that Taijutsu and Athlectis don't change much, while preparing Akane for FOOM would be far more efficient in the long run.

- Timeskip as close to the end of the contest as is comfortable with Velorien, whilst following up on other projects
- Let Hazo take a break, now that his situation is more or less under control. He's Out compromised, "genjutsu compromised", he should take the backseat for the time being.
- Ask Mari for help in dealing with Haru. No speeches, just help make him feel welcomed in the clan. See if Haru would want to regularly train with Hazo.
- Have another heart to heart with Akane, this Chekov's sword is getting heavier by the day
- Check up on Kagome's other Sealing apprentices. Are they ready to do original research? If so, ask them if they want to work with us on new avenues of research, like better air puffers, heating seals, and alternate methods of activating seals. Double check with Kagome.
- Invite Keiko on weekly family dates with the Goketsu
- Check up on skyslider development. Do they need anything?
- Hazo has suggestions:
- Wind generation: flap paper fan to constantly generate wind. Maybe a seal could do that too(stronger air puffer seal)
- Environmental isolation: build a wind tunnel to test skyslider models in. Hazo offers to build it.
- Illustrating flow: Maybe we can see how wind spirit flows by using smoke? Burn wood for smoke then pipe it into a wind tunnel.
- Hazo has suggestions:
