It uses up more than half of the corpses, but it does finish it.

Can someone help me understand why the rush to get crest feathers ?
Seens a bit to little to spend the favor on, to not talk how this will force us to design the armor next turn.

That's... not the plan I wanted, because it gives anywhere from 8 to 12 points on Movement of Things. ><

I'd put only 2, maybe 3, Prods in it. Which, yes, doesn't finish it but. That leaves a Prod free for a critical +15 to Odd Places -- I really want to be able to do a mass-explore option, and having a +15 on all those rolls will be so worth it and sweet.
I'll be honest I don't particularly want to go exploring, and try to fit in research, and try to fit in Griffon stuff. Movement of Things gets 4 prods because once I spend prods on Diction and Dragon Ogres there's nothing else to put that final prod into and I'm assuming Yorri will be gone next turn. Exploring falls by the way side because I find research with Yorri and Griffon stuff higher priority.

Like fundamentally I want to get research projects done. Because a lot of people seem to want to cut it down a size and frankly its getting too large for my own tastes.

I refuse to vote for a plan that doesn't spend 5 actions with Yorri. This might be our one and only chance to do crazy fun things with two Runelords. We can optimize for action useage some other time. Right now is prime-time for whatever payoff (mostly narrative crazy-fun) we get for spending all 5 actions on Yorri-action.

I'd start on the KotS Armor and ask for feathers, but I'd like to do that when we're actually starting to design said Armor. I'm still not sure on how that bit between getting the Favor and doing Pt 1 work @soulcake. Do we have to start the Armor the turn we ask for the Favor, or the turn after?

I want to start out on Warded Aeries, just because from an RP perspective, it feels like the sort of thing I want to get done to start repaying the debt. Other than that, the main focus is on using Yorri. Guarantee completion of Dragon Ogre Autopsy at the cost of two sets of Destructive Research and a Prod, finish Diction Direction since we're going to be getting closer to the Griffons a lot more in the future, and then move onto the Movement of Things with what's left.

@BungieONI 4 on the movement? it needs 8, -1 from our action. 3 prods woulds gives us 3d2+3 or needing 4 from 3d2. Going 4 prods is just wastful

will have to see how things break down as I do want prod for prod, but prods are a finite resource so overspending them on actions seems like a poor idea

Suporting the plans that use Yorri prods and don't waste the sky boon to lock us into rushing the King's armor, wich makes no sense to me after the incrusion with so much research.

For the love of god, don't spend any Yorri Prods on Dragon Ogres. Please please please just do Destructive Research three times.

We can afford it, and it will finish it, and we will still have a ton of corpses left.

Why are people spending only 2 uses of it?? Was it because one of the earliest plans used it twice, and so from then on, everybody locked on to using it twice only? Guys, you can finish it! Without using any Yorri Prods. And still have a ton of Dragon Ogres left. People, please...

And again, Movement of Things getting 4 Prods means that it's 1D2+1 x4. Or 2-3 x4 for each Prod. That means 8 to 12. points of progress. That's so much overflow that it makes me want to cry.

Meanwhile, a Prod is being used up on Diction Direction (only 1 progress) and on Dragon Ogres (which can be finished solely by Destructive Research).

Fair enough. I've heard it twice, there are copies of each of my three plans in my post, with no boon and slightly adjusted titles.
 
I know that. Which is why I am saying "put 1 action in it, and then finish it up with Destructive Research."

You don't NEED multiple actions in it, or multiple Yorri Prods!

Okay, that's a fair argument. I value keeping more corpses, but I see your point.

Also, I get what you're saying about movement overflow, but I see it as an experiment - overflow on production has given us direct benefits but we've never tried research overflow before. Since we can't bank on Yorri being here next turn, I want to see if the overflow does anything for us. Epiphanies, related rune research unlocked? Who knows?

I want to start out on Warded Aeries, just because from an RP perspective, it feels like the sort of thing I want to get done to start repaying the debt. Other than that, the main focus is on using Yorri. Guarantee completion of Dragon Ogre Autopsy at the cost of two sets of Destructive Research and a Prod, finish Diction Direction since we're going to be getting closer to the Griffons a lot more in the future, and then move onto the Movement of Things with what's left.
Can I convince you to change to using Destructive Research 3 times, rather than twice and 1 Prod? Still finished it up, and still has a ton of corpses left.
Okay, that's a fair argument. I value keeping more corpses, but I see your point.
Don't put 2 actions into it or use a Yorri Prod on it, just take Destructive Researching 3 times to complete it; it uses up 9 Shaggoth and 27 Dragon Ogre Corpses, leaving 6 Shaggoth and 18 Dragon Ogre Corpses.

It uses up more than half of the corpses, but it does finish it.
Look at how many corpses it still leaves us with. 6 Shaggoth and 18 Dragon Ogre corpses. That's a ton of material still.

And as for the overflow... it will overflow it by 1-5 action. That seems a bit excessive. Feels like using up Prods just for overflow, when you can instead spend the Prods on other stuff too. Like Secrets of Light -- or my favorite, being able to spend it on Odd Places. Or maybe something will come up next turn; more Prod actions perhaps? Who knows.

I really think we should be doing a secret of light prod rather than shaggoth dissection, which can be done once Yorri leaves. So I like this plan. Makes the best use of the limited time he's here I feel.
