I'm not going to weigh in on the logic of either side's arguments, but I will ask that everyone read over what they write and really consider if the words they used are polite and won't be inflammatory intentionally or not. You cant account for people's tolerances perfectly but at least try to say your piece without saying things that can be easily construed as overly dismissive of the other side of the argument, thank you.

were there is gromril there is proportional amount of warpstone and troll county had enough warpstone to support one of the four great clans of Skavendom , odds are there is massive deposit of gromril in troll country waiting to be found roughly in same site Hellpit would be founded on

That kind of needs the South and North holds to remain in contact. I'd be all for Slayers making a pilgrimage North into the chaos wastes to find their doom. I'd honestly prefer Slayers don't come about, because that is how the Dawi lose a lot of knowledge.

But yeah, ultimate Doom for Slayers. Either Slayer Throngs to fallen Holds (when they happen) with actual Throngs not too far behind just in case the Slayers succeed, or get far enough in success is nearly there. Or pilgrimage North to kill daemon shits.

I would love it if that Trait can be passed down. Then over generations it slowly increases the bonus it gives and becomes a legitimate secret skill of our "line". Something like a +20 would be amazing and put our runesmiths/runelords a step above the rest. I can see it narratively as being able to tell the purity of something by smell alone. Mechanically a +20 to loot would be awesome for treasure diving.

*Plus Ultra Intensifies*




Maybe omake a canon timeline WFB quest where the players choose to be a runesmith and roll to choose a master and gain one of our future descendents and gain that skill.

That...actually isnt that big for an encyclopedia of all things plant. Maybe add a zero in one or the other? Especially if you include detailed diagrams of each species too.

Has the rocking chair been invented yet? Or is it considered not sturdy enough due to the motion reducing its fixture to the floor?

Already made my own version of this one. Less gromril than you'd like but a lot of runes.

As for the banner one I can pop the sucker in as well, might have to change the flavour text tho.

Snorri ends up blackout drunk and wakes up to find out that he had made a bunch of golems made out of stonebread. Basically he made a bunch of gingerbread men golems using the runes.





Weapon idea. I saw people say the rune of flight acted as a boomerang so if we can figure out the propulsion and targeting runes why dont we make a gromil arrow?

I saw this and it made me think of what if the gift was so strong in someone, or they lived for so long and mastered so much that they could literally speak in runes or carve runes on the very air. That would be amazingly badass.

What runes do we actually have? Also I had an idea, could we tweak the Rune of Grudge to give enemies a beserk debuff? Basically make them get really pissed off at their allies and make them start killing each other. It would work great as a distraction and eliminating the chaff as numbers would be turned against our enemies.

We're a Runelord, so we probably know every non-Master rune that has been invented so far.

I suppose not every runesmith is going to be devoting part of his attention to arming the throng without a reason or a commission. I suspect we'll see that despite our services being needed more than ever when the daemons come, the requirements won't be as high as expected by dint of every runesmith now actively working for the common defense.

I doubt we will be able to make a 1:1 replica with the control system so we need to figure out a more simple version.

Okay for the Gromil Arrow it would need a Master rune of flight. Add a rune of piercing to give it extra damage. If possible a grudge alternate rune that will allow it to home in on enemies.

Make a glove with runes to increase the power of our throwing and the arrow is basically a gun or canon that returns so you dont run out of ammo.

Give it the force of a bolter then....though that might just take the dwarfs arm off either from the recoil or the return. Honestly why not just use that for a sling? No Dwarf is ever short on rocks right?

Three runes on the sling and three on the Dwarf using it.
