Ok, who proposed we make a camp in Hidden Swamp? I lost you, but the idea is interesting.
I mean, I'll be adding a bit about making a pit-stop somewhere nice and quiet so we cen check our border town(s) at sane hr of morning, and our old swamp place is really close. You can see that upside-down Y river thing on the bit of map I have in plan (unless I'm wrong) e: i'm not wrong.

I mean, we know the place, the monsters aren't scary to Chunins (and up) with mostly full chakra, sensory skills from Noburi, and a paranoid explosives expert...

Remind everyone to keep the priorities straight/"Can we save this till later?"
Clear communiation? Yes, please!
(Tho I still think that plan: remind everyone of how hurt we are was a good one. Ah well...)
Let things calm down a bit.
Settle in for the night, treat injuries, set watch shifts, get dinner, check perimeter, - something normal, a routine team can cling to while we adjust to what happened.
Prepare to leave ASAP for a run:
Quickly & quietly fill in Kagome on basics of what happened: ran into a jounin, had to kill him, had to run. Complicated stuff save for later.
Strip our camp of everything. Everything.
A quick snack, a drink from Nobby (he has chakra to spare) a visit to latrine
Stabilize injuries as best as possible with henged travel in mind
that's tightly wrapped ribs for Noburi and.. nah, he knows better at this point. (Better than me at least)
Noburi gets his chakra up via the many, many rivers we come across
Keep drama on down low, we can have a nice big breakdown once we arrive at the new place
No really, autopilot is good here. Do the necessary things first. Compartmentalize, etc.
Just run.
Go to Iron. Why?
Because that's one place where they won't expect missing nin to go
Enough time passed since Big Stuff happened that it shouldn't be crawling with hunters anymore.
Because we have an expert on survival in Iron forest right here with us.
Because we know a healer in Yuni who might be amenable to patch us up and resume Noburi's lessons
for a price, but we have something like 5k and we can get more.
Because there are casinos there which can serve as a source of money, info and perhaps even more seals.
Go to Iron. How?
Run West into Fire, past Rice, get into Iron via Fire/Iron border.
Better yet, run past Rice and Iron into Waterfall, and from there cross into Iron.
Follow rivers when possible&reasonable.
This even lets us visit a pretty big border town, if we so chose. Or not visit. Maybe we pass it. Mari can pick.
On the way to Iron:
Make a pit stop someplace nice and quiet so we can visit [border town] at sane o'clock in the morning.
HIDDEN SWAMP.
It's practically on our way.
It's nice. And quiet. And familiar. Home away from home.
We can get closure.
We can investigate that damn shELTER AT LAST MY PRECIOUS THE TRUTH SHALL BE REVEALED
*cough*
Briefly visit several (small) border settlements
Catch any rumors on hunter-nin activity and state of the world in general
Check town(s) for wanted posters with our names and faces in particular
See if we can learn about the fallout from our mission
we probably won't, since it'll be less than a day by then, but who knows...
Once in Iron?
Settle down somewhere else in the forest, defer to Kagome here.
Save Sealing shenanigans till we have a proper lab.
Also save shenanigans till we're at least 2 dice better
Once we are fit to do research, see research plans
Scout out Yuni and it's surrounding, keep an eye/ear out for rumors, our mugshots, anything that might make our trip to Yuni difficult or interesting.
Avoid interesting.
Visit the clinic in Yuni for that sweet healing, arrange for Nobby to resume his lessons once he's fit for it.
Hashimoto-san, Noburi missed you so. Please take him back under your wing for a bit longer.
Make money by small-time gambling
Buy sealing supplies (we know a good paper shop, Nobby can have that rematch)
Get Kagome to work on salvaged code
Keiko and maybe Hazou might be helpful for Kagome doing the crypto thing, which might in turn be a nice distraction and hopefully confidence boost for Keiko
Keiko has plenty of time to hang out with Pangolins now. Make friends, get relashionship advice. Can't be worse than ours.
Something else?
Once we settle down, full debrief:
Winning debrief plan goes here.
Contingencies:
If someone comes after us, running is preferred to fighting.
Opsec, yeah? Disguises, fake names when we're visiting places, the usual.
Minimize trail while on the road. We've done so much running, we should have a routine by now.
Update can be limited to moving to Iron+Big Talk, if thread/QM prefers, with long-term things to do saved till next time.

Did Mari never check the shelter out herself? Like...that seems like a real bad idea, even if you're planning to leave.
Anyway, you should add that when we're in the swamp, Noburi should be mass-draining and giving his water to everyone, which means that we are essentially free to chakra boost everything while there. Which we totally should.

Possibly off topic but I just want to air a grievance.
We do not have a tech tree. No matter how much people describe that list as one. Its not tall and it doesn't branch.
Its more of a tech lawn, its relatively flat and covers a large area.
