A clarification on further discussion:

1+3: You may assume that these are happening in the background, although they likely won't be shown onscreen.
2: Reports to Cannai are handled verbally, so that's not happening.
4: There isn't time.

Also, one of your dogs is stationed with Pandā so you still have contact with Keiko and the Isan team, although only once per day.

Does exhausting our Chakra on a daily basis count as Chakra training for XP allocation purposes?

Doing any kind of experiment like that close to a border sounds like a bad idea.

I suggested finding out if there is a living Summoner in River or elsewhere. It's been 15 years, that scroll could have easily been recovered by someone. The Kangaroo's might have simple contacted someone and told them the last known location of their Summoner. Asuma knowing nothing about the current status doesn't mean much.

And Asuma actually told us that the last known guy was a Cloud ninja:

Enma argues that it's the same guy until fifteen years ago, so the only difference is that Asuma said meeting the Summoner 30 years ago and Enma 40, could have been miscommincation between the characters or EJ just making a mistake. No idea why both of his Summoner aren't telling him the name.

It's been six months: many of our plans involve 'wow, if only we could TH this' and sniffing around seems worthwhile.

EDIT: can someone cite me Mari still working on her, and the most recent update she's given us? I don't remember it, and (once she's back) bringing it up again seems reasonable; I would like to promote it to QM attention in any case.

    Meet the official Marked for Death kitten, Minori.



    Minori is eight weeks old, black, and of mixed breed.



    Her favourite place to sleep is office chairs, likely because there were two in the room where she was born and spent her early days.




    This does not always work out well for her work-from-home owners, since for now she refuses to be touched (maybe we should have named her Keiko after all) and therefore can't simply be lifted off one's lap.




    She is a worthy genin, already skilled in the stalk-pounce-drag to safe place-thoroughly dismember cycle, and really too good at snatching dangly things before they can be yoinked away from her. We don't have many photos of that yet, since once she uses chakra boost, she is pretty much a black blur.

    Most importantly, she is a gamer kitty. She watches my partner and me play PC games, and bats at the monsters. (I suspect this isn't good for the monitor, but I'm still looking for a protector that isn't designed for laptops.)
