Come to think of it, that's two Halloween updates in a row that ended in "and it was just a (prophetic?) dream". I really would be predictable if that happened a third time.
To this day, I still remember the rollercoaster of emotions that was the first April Fool's update. I actually had to put down my phone for a bit when Kagome was revealed to actually be Itachi. It was great, but now we know to expect stuff like this on holidays (and the occasional genjutsu fever-nightmares that Mari trains us with) so I end up getting suspicious quickly when things veer this wildly. It might be worth it to do more existential horror fake outs like when Kagome revealed that the fundamental nature of ninjutsu changes every few years and the universe destroys all knowledge of this fact within minutes of it being written or heard. (Actually, was that even a fake out? I don't remember the resolution to that but I recall Kagome being very hesitant to talk about his weird henge in chapter 74.)

Damnit, no. You were supposed to be freaked out at the insinuation that the dreams were real and Ami was about to become Hokage. Now I just feel guilty. :<

*sigh* It was a prank. Aspect deleted. Sorry. :< :<

Oh, thats fine, no harm done. You got me!(i suppose :p).

If we can survive til the next EN new years, (and keep the job) can we get a Lord Gōketsu aspect?

Honestly, I would love to see how the hivemind would try to work their way through things if that dream actually did come to pass...

Lord Gōketsu: You are Lord Gōketsu.
Invoke when drawing on your authority as a clan head or acting in support of the clan as a whole.
Earn fate points when living up to your reputation as Lord Gōketsu.

How much dignity will you sacrifice in the name of power?

Dignity is overrated anyways.

(Besides, once we get the power we can fix the rep!).

@eaglejarl @Velorien

I have probably brought this up before, but have y'all considered issuing FP bounties for reasonably interesting or exciting (or even weird but in-character?) things? It seems less agency-gordion-knot-screaming than compels did and would probably incentivize that more things to your liking happen while being fun as a reward mechanically speaking!

Does Keiko mean all of them or just the non-SC version?

So it reads to me as if Ami is referring to Keiko and not Snowflake (or anyone else) here, and the Snowflake (and others) don't currently want to spend time around Ami in this context for whatever reason, and that this troubles Keiko some. Embarrassment maybe?

We should probably talk to Snowflake and Keiko about this.

What kind of activities are you envisioning?

--form a mutually beneficial alliance with Orochimaru

--make the Goketsu indispensable to Asuma

--Bring Jiraiya back

--Bring Leaf and [Hidden Village] together to secure coffee for Hazou's caffeine addiction
Those seem very broad and large-scale for FP bounties--not to put words in @MMKII's mouth, but it's not the sense I got from his post. Besides, on the whole they seem like either things the hivemind wants to do anyway, or things I don't think it would be appropriate for me to steer players towards in my capacity as a QM.

To be fair, I think there's actually merit in rewarding what people want to do already. Especially if it's stuff we all want to do but never get around to doing due to administration simulator lol

Not wanting to weigh on decisions as a QM is a whole different thing though, which is valid
