I think, pound for pound, "Summons pre-equipped with seals" outstrips "Shadows clones who must yoink and equip our seals." by a fair bit in the effectiveness department.

Man I can't wait till we have Shadow clones and summoning contracts for the whole team. The amount of shenanigans we will be able to tru should require all the aspirin in the world

Remind me, what's the maximum range of a shadow clone from the original? Was it limited like other clones, or could they go further?

Jiraiya's Shadow Clone popped out of existence in Mist at the Fifth Event when he ran off to keep anyone from draining Pangolins. It's possible this was him planting false information about Shadow Clones, though, and their range is much larger/unlimited.

Thanks. Also, can shadow clones stay awake while the user sleeps?

It seems that it was an intentional move on Jiraiya's part, given the quote later in the chapter where he mentions the clone dispelling itself.

His Shadow Clone had given the others just enough to tantalize before dispelling itself; they should be on their way. Still, no reason to wait.

Almost surely not the case, or Jiraiya wouldn't look so exhausted all the time.
"Sir, I've made something for your birthday you're going to love. It's a seal-animated golem abomination that can absorb one of your shadow clones and use its knowledge and appearance while you're asleep to fill out paperwork and sit in meetings. Oh, and there's a 95% chance it's not secretly inhabited by a malignant intelligence from the Out that wants to destroy all human life."

When I first stumbled onto this quest I toyed with the idea of a combination of sealing-ninjutsu animated golems that did stuff for the user.

I'm still fond of the idea, but I think it would be very hard to do at the moment, even if you just had a preprogrammed golem.

Still, there is hope.

Bookkeeping request:

1)May we have the character sheets updated so that Forged in Fire/TYS applies the TYS points to Rapport and Empathy/Intimidation? Perhaps add the TYS cell to the skill level in the "Effective level" column, as is done for Hazou with the IN's +3?This might ease computational complexity of future rolls for y'all, as well.

2) There are disguise-related Stunts listed in the rules doc with Cost ??. Just checking: Have you guys sorted out costs for these, and if not, would you be comfortable giving ballpark estimates for the costs? I promise not to hold you to them explicitly. :)

Did we purchase that yet? I remember one attempt to purchase it stalling because we didn't do the 'try to resist J's Jounin Aura' thingy.

My first reaction to 'Let's break the action economy wide open' was 'If the QMs see their system getting broken easily, they'll fix it'. My second reaction was that you were talking about Shadow Clone and Summoning
This.
The emphasis is in the word "easily". If we are convinced that it's plausible that no one has ever thought of it before (eg skywalkers) then we're fine to let you do it. Otherwise, no.
