League of legends terminology.
Mid Lane= Usually casters/assassin types. Often of the blaster/kaboom variety, but not always. I would peg Lightning Pillar kid as this.
Jungler= This is harder to typecast since the actual position is fit by a wide variety of characters in LoL. I would say for the purposes of the discussion they lean more towards a jack-of-all-trades build than a highly specialized build. Effectively "one last teammate to round us out." could have sufficed here.
