What sort of things are you looking to create?
Also, a quick reminder that in order to get the award you need to be 100% in compliance with the NSF's grant-writing guidelines, and the QMs need to determine that it would have passed the review process. I disrecommend actually trying to do this; writing a grant takes
months of full-time effort. I did promise an XP award if someone did it and I'll back that up, but I said it mostly as a joke, not expecting anyone to go for it. I think it would be a poor use of your time, but I certainly won't stop you.
(I will note that my cofounder, who spent most of the last year working on a grant proposal, was hella amused that this might actually happen.)
You numbered from 1, adding new ones as you went, with most of them being footnotes nested inside footnotes. You had a footnote #7 but did not actually have a
[7] in there anywhere -- was that a mistake?
Welcome! Nice to see new people. How did you find out about us?
Other people have answered most of your questions already, but I'll point you to
post #2 in the thread, where a lot of information is collected and linked. That includes the rules document, about which some background: When the quest started, the QMs designed a completely homebrew system which has been nicknamed Augjev for the usernames of the creators. It was horrible, and it eventually broke us, so we threw it out. We then spent several months writing interludes while making a bastardized version of the Dresden Files (a variant of FATE) rules that integrated as well as possible with the Augjev rules so that we ended up with as little discontinuity as possible in character builds, jutsu, etc. The new version is (IMO) waaaay more fun and much easier to write for. (Among other reasons, it does not have skill check formula with fractional exponents.)
He was being sincere. You are thinking right in sync with the existing playerbase, and even tapping into some of the local memes.
What essay?
Welcome back!
Are you suggesting that Keiko is the Angel Summoner or the BMX bandit in that situation? :>
Note that there is not currently an update in progress. I don't think I'll have tuits to produce a Keiko/Hazō fight before Wednesday, so either
@Velorien will write it or he'll do an interlude and I'll produce the K/F fight thereafter.
Oops! Your images didn't come through. Easiest thing is to post them to imgur, then use the icon on the editor that looks like a stylized landscape to link them. (It's the 8th button from the left on the bottom row.)
