I dont think this would necessarily be a get rich quick scheme either. They have odd value systems and their economies might not really be the same as ours as far as worth of specific goods. If you try to trade them gems they might pay you in buckets of fire ants or something.

They already paid us bucketload of gemss and golds, something like equal to Keiko's mass?

We already sorted this out in the skytower negotiations. They understand different mediums of exchange. Gold seems to work, and we can also barter for unique goods we can sell on the human path.

Side note: November 20-21 is when we have to give Pangolins our shipment of 5SB. This Event lasts until the 18th. Please do not forget to talk with Jiraiya regarding this.

Fine by me then, as long as it doesnt detract from the kids' training and them acquiring missions, im game.

We have three days to get enough 5SBs prepared.

I dont see what that had to do with the wuoted post explicitly, but anyways on that topic:

*groans*

Hopefully we can spend a night copying blanks and have Jiraiya infuse them all in like an hour or so.

An hour? The guy can infuse seals close to instantly; he'll be done over the course of a Seventh Path meeting. Unless he flubs his Sealing roll, that's another story.

Incidentally, we also need to get paint. IIRC about 27 gallons of it.
Thats what we need to get immediately for the next event. According to @Adept_Woodwright 's calculations?

Im unsure as to the numbers involved here, how many do the Pangolins want?

As far as i knew it took Hazou something on the order of a few minutes to make a blank, so "three all nighters" to make the seals (Event ends: Nov 18, theyre due Nov 21) seemed to imply A LOT. If its on the order of ~4-500 even i still think thatd only be 48 of work split over the three days, being pessimistic.

So if the Mizukage found out that the Wakahisa were planning to research how to bring back the dead, he might see that as bringing back the competition, and squash that project like a bug.

Molochh

) I don't think it's ever been formalized, but I think this is what we were supposed to be doing with the Minami clan before Nikko took a kunai to the throat

Do you know where this was mentioned?

We need 110 5SB.
"So," Keiko said carefully, "the upfront payment will be three pounds of diamonds, the full-time availability of Pankurashun and five elite pangolin of my choice, plus the training jutsu for each member of Gōketsu and five other jutsu of our choice. After that, we agree to a monthly payment of sixty pounds of gold in exchange for ninety of the Pantokrator's Judging Eyes." She paused, considering, then nodded. "My clan leader will probably be angry with me for doing such a poor job of bargaining but I suspect he'll accept the deal rather than shaming me by forcing me to go back on my word with such an important ally as the Pangolin Clan."
Keiko went to the 7th Path and did a quick deal. Next month you owe the pangolins an extra 20 seals but they are giving you half the payment now. Keiko got a pound of gold (all they were able to put their claws on immediately) and more will become available over the next couple days.

Hazou really needs to get around to learning to do sealcraft with both hands at the same time.
We just need to put like ~70 xp into calligraphy and i think EJ and @Inferno Vulpix settled on that bringing him to roughly "1 seal a minute" instead of the slightly more ridiculous "1 seal every few seconds" the calligraphy bonus wouldve allowed

@faflec
90 skytowers = 2*90 5SB seals
so 200 seals total

During the construction, we alternate between two seals - a lower construction platform + the level being constructed. Once that is done, we recycle the lower one to rise another stage.

Oh, and the wooden frames and ninja wire might be part of the deal as well, I'm not sure. The 'extra 20 seals' indicates otherwise, but we can't rely on that without word of GM.

Estimate of amount of paint needed. I am purposefully overestimating for simplicity and because, in our haste to apply the paint, I imagine we wont be perfectly efficient
There are, approximately, 9 of the 32-ft up/down sections on the map, and 7 of the 50 ft left/right sections. Assuming the walls are 10 ft high, we get 9*32*10 = 2592 ft^2, and 7*50*10 = 3500 ft^2. The floors and ceiling are, at max, 32x50, so 32*50*2 = 3200 ft^2. All told, there are no more than 9292 ft^2 to be painted. Apply a safety factor of 1.2., for 11150 ft^2.

Estimating How Much Paint to Buy - dummies

Indicates you need a gallon per 350 ft^2, but unprimed dry wall will need slightly more. Say 300^ft2 / gallon.

37.2 gallons. Probably ask for 37 gallons of paint.

37 gallons to ensure plenty of paint over the interior, which includes at least a factor of 1.2 for safety.

Is this for the 5SB idea to protect our facility? I find it questionable as to whether or not that would actually work. And would it dry in time? Does a 5SB even work on liquids?

Might want to test it in the Seventh Path before we actually try to implement it. It'd be a waste of time otherwise.

Point of clarification: eaglejarl never settled on anything, he just mentioned what interpretation off the top of his head sounded most reasonable, and I expressed support for that interpretation. We'll need to wait for the QMs to discuss it (and/or maybe poke them a couple times when they have spoons to spare) if we want a proper ruling.
