Coyote: Man and machine. Er. Well. (Pass)
Goofy: That sounds pretty silly, Dr. D. (Abstain)
Janus Lee: As if anything else here doesn't? (Abstain)
Mirage: I… suppose… (Abstain)
Ludivine: Yeah shooure, I could whip dat up for you. (Pass)
Malifishmirtz: We're putting the beavers in armor? That… huh. You know that doesn't actually sound like a bad idea. (Pass)
Coyote: Beav-[Clamps hand over mouth]
Janus Lee: Beavers? Those aren't native to Europe!
Malifishmertz: Yeah, and neither are ocelots pal, what's your point?
Ah, I see that Mirage has gotten a sitcom cast for our Council. I can feel her regretting her actions even now :D

This is going to be so fun.

If the suits would work for anthropomorphic animals in zootopia would they work for the ones we have? Like Wile, Goofy, Max, Ludivine, Dennis, and... Kitsune in fox mode?

Would they get like plus 3 to martial as well?

Your hero cards have been updated!

This would have made more sense if I posted it after "When It Counts!" but I forgot to share it!

I have two more cards I was supposed to share earlier and completely forgot about! Tune in for those tomorrow!

The hiatus is over!

That means... we're starting work on the next turn. So look out for that in a couple days!

The process of omake awards have begun again... and there's been no coherent record of XP over the last two turns... god help me

Hm.

Although being able to design uplink suits that let an ant-sized person operate a human-sized robot would logically also help us to design giant mecha piloted by a single individual. Honestly, the uplink suits really are giant mecha... they're just designed for creatures for whom "the size of a human" qualifies as "giant."

In much the same sense that a suit of power armor sized for Agent W would be built to mecha scale by human standards.

I think the +3 Martial is for NOWCA as a whole to get the armor. Remember that NOWCA is in effect a big heroball consisting of everyone in NOWCA.

On the other hand, that's kind of an underwhelming thing to spend -3 Funds on. It'd be more worthwhile if it was something like "NOWCA having power armor means all attempts to launch a Martial attack on Doofania encounter a -3 penalty," the way that Genghis Khan's PMC provides such benefits.

Eh, remember, Funds are going to be very different from Income- and speaking of, that distinction doesn't seem to have been truly implemented yet?

Making inators is always fun.

Back-in-my-day-inator (neutral): For one turn, critical successes and failures function exactly like they did in the beginning of the quest. Rolling double the DC is a critical success, and half is a critical failure. This applies to all rolls everywhere, including quests and other factions.

XPerimental-inator (good): For one turn, XP has 1.5x effect. You may still only spend 1000 XP per roll, which will add 15 instead of 10 to the roll.

XPerimental-inator (bad): For one turn, XP cannot be spent.

Regret-inator (good): You create a machine that dynamically responds to regrets by creating something that will make things better! And you have the good sense to wait until the right moment to push the button! Reroll the next critical failure.

Regret-inator (bad): You create a machine that dynamically responds to regrets by creating something that will make things better! You push the button to test it. It turns out that when there's something that will make things better, it dynamically responds by creating new regrets! Who knew? A random action this turn that would have failed normally becomes a critical failure instead. If (somehow) no action fails this turn, the effect is held in suspension until a failure occurs on some subsequent turn.

Can anyone tell me where the superhero Nimble Jack came from? Is than an OC or someone from a franchise I don't know?

Pretty sure he´s from supplementary material for *The Incredibles*.

...Now I wonder, what happened to that guy that was originally supposed to be the movies BBEG before Syndrome pushed his way into that role - I only remember that he´s an old guy whose name started with an X who got repurposed in the comics as one of Elastigirls "arches".

We already made power armor.

Doof has a set.

...Really wish I had written kept the link for my HeroForge image for that armor (and also the blurb about the Kernel-Lumper)...

Random thought. We're essentially designing sealed environmental suits. If we were to go the route of upscaling into giant mecha, all we'd need to do is add some rockets and we'd have our first spacefaring craft. I know I'm downplaying how easy this would be, but this could be a great way to leapfrog some of the progress made towards space exploration, especially if we collaborate with Zootopia on it.

Meanwhile, While No One Was Looking

After some research we're pretty sure this conflicts with canon, but it's well done regardless and a good representation of poor Stacey's headspace. 500 XP!
Peter The Panda in:
Bearocratic Hell
Unfortunately not canon compliant, but 400XP!

Special Delivery Starring Launchpad McQuack
A fun romp, if a little... confusing due to lack of exposition. 500XP

The Jackal's Rise, Part 1
Well written, fun, and we didn't have any big plans for Jackie Baby anyhow. Canon, and 600XP! If I had to give any constructive critisism, it would be to work on your transitions a bit more. Some of the plot beats do not quite flow smoothly into each other.

Omake: Okay, Coach Boomer!
Definitely not how things went down, but I understood the reference nonetheless. 500XP!

Mark Beaks NegaQuest

Always love a negaquest. 400XP!

100XP for a good chuckle.
Sir David Tushingham in "Not the Discovery!"
Prooobably not something we want to dig too deeply into, if you'll forgive me, but well done regardless. 500XP.

How Doof Regrew his Arms
Cmoon's continuing hatred of titanium ensures this isn't canon, but 300XP anyway for a short little omake that hits many of the same points as doof's freezing.

I like Vee too. Especially when she's in character. 700XP.

Poor Norm. Even in the omakes he can't get his wish. 500XP!

...What? I mean, I get hating the inexplicable amount of fictional metals that are lighter and stronger than titanium (seriously, when you look for them, they're everywhere).

Honestly, my biggest annoyance related to titanium is the number of people assuming that because it's rare and expensive it's a real-life super material. It isn't - there are applications where it's genuinely better to make something out of steel, and you especially don't want to be using pure titanium for most things because IIRC it actually has fairly meh physical properties by itself. The really fancy stuff you can do with it is technically only doable with alloys of titanium and other stuff - at which point, it might be better to work on better alloys that don't use such a rare material.

EDIT: that said, take the above with a grain of salt - it's mostly from recollections of videos I watched years ago, so YMMV.
