Old Ties: Make amends with Major Monogram, Roger, and Norm.

Reward: +5 Opinion with relevant heroes.

+Opinion/Loyalty is never a bad thing to strive towards by itself.

We're Moving in a Different Direction: Remove a Hero Unit with a Personal Action.

Reward: Gain 1 Funds.

And of course us kicking out LM *during an interlude* doesn´t count for that...sucks a bit.

Ad Astra Per Capitaleismus: Create a permanent space station.

Reward: Gain 1 rank in the Aerospace sector (max rank 5)

A "Pharmacist": Reach rank 3 in the "Pharmaceuticals" industry.

Reward: 2 Income, the ability to smirk to yourself whenever people tell you that.

Nice to have (the space one for my "Project D. E. A. R." idea, the "pharma" idea for sheer cheekiness), but not really all that crucial for moving forward.

Sixty-Five Million Years in the Making: Complete the Dinosaur tech tree.

Reward: All Geneticist hero units gain +5 Opinion. Doofrassic Park provides +1 extra Income.

Pretty sure that we are actively gearing towards doing that one ASAP just to meet FGs expectations already...but good to know that it´ll be that profitable for us.

Eisenhower's Nightmare: Repair your reputation enough to become Established in National Defense.

Reward: Improved government opinion.

Well, since at least I am very invested in mending relations with Uncle Sam as much as possible without completly gutting us, that´s something to keep in mind - although trying to reconcile *any version* of the "Doofanian Dream" with that will be TOUGH.

Then again, we still do own Disney, the founder of which had this dream about a fully-autonomous city called EPCOT *and* we got concepts regarding dimensional travel collecting dust...definitely would be an angle we could try here.

Golden Lion: Break someone out of Impel Duck.

Reward: New hero unit.

Disregarding the fact that I *loathe* Shiki as a character and therefore are a bit wary of having to deal with an expy of him as Operative, we´d also have to do that without tipping off FG preferably, because I´d rather not have our Dino collab fall through because of that.

Something Rotten in San Fransokyo: Discover the truth behind the Zaibatzu's odd behavior.

Reward: Wendy Wower gains +10 Loyalty.

Definitely nice to have, but do we have some sort of "angle" to start working on in that regard?

The Terror That Flaps in the Day: Figure out Negaduck's plan before it occurs.

Reward: New action unlocked.

Interesting, if nothing else...but since we don´t really know how close ND is to springing that thing, we might not be able to cram him into our timetable as well unfortunately.

Nightshade: Find out what Solanaceae wanted with the LUMINES system.

Reward: Someone's Identity.

*Shrugs*

Yesterday's Dream: Find the Box.

Reward: Begin The Realist.

Sounds like either an Interlude or Adventure...ominous...

Take What You Can Get: Invade Drusselstein.

Reward: No.

Penalty: Risk of annexing Drusselstein.

Yeah no, not really interested in Drusselstein at all right now.

Sic Semper Oligarchus: Intentionally take a King off the board.

Reward: Your King gains +2 in a stat of your choice.

Well, that means we have to double down on garotting Doom *hard* before we luck into his demise as well and don´t get that bonus either.

Somebody's Watching Me: Roll a 1 or a 100 on your Random Event Roll.

Reward: Hints.

...You sure we didn´t get a 1 there before? I faintly remember that, I think...

Catch a Falling Star: Find Star Butterfly.

Reward: Tom, Marco and Janna gain +10 Loyalty.

Since Starr seems critical to Toffees plans going forward, definitely something we should tackle sooner rather than later

Amateur Sleuth: Establish all possible spy networks.

Reward: DI7 bonus increases by 1.

Spymaster: Have rank 2 infiltration in at least 5 factions at the same time.

Reward: Your King gains 2 Intrigue.

Corporate Overlord: Gain 50 Income per turn from your Industries.

Reward: Gain trait Rich As a Duck: +5 penalty to all corporate action DCs made by other factions in industries you are Established or better in.

...Ok, those three are *clear* "victory lap"-tier goals for now at least.

We can try getting them alongside more important stuff, but I am not seeing us focussing on them as DEI is standing now.

Street Samurai: Get a hero unit with 35 or more Martial to 75 opinion.

Reward: Unit gains 3 Martial.

Where is Khan sitting again atm? After all, he seems like our best shot at grabbing that Objective rn.

Brave New World: Activate the Other-Dimensionator for the first time.

Reward: Assigned Learning hero unit gains +3 Loyalty.

On it - especially if we insist on making Doofania reality without majorly pissing off the Feds in the process and therefore ruining our chances at that other goal, you know?

Midsummer's Worst Nightmare: Meet the Dream Queen yourself.

Reward: Learn her identity.

*Shrugs again*

King vs. Kat: Insist on getting revenge on Kat.

Reward: Is it?

Meeeh...He *kinda is* a loose end for a possible future Secrecy Breach (still would prefer "Masquerade" btw, but I am not dying on that hill either) admittedly, but I am not really feeling going after him rn since he managed to slip into protection from Paps all the way over in Paris (which makes dealing with him just far too much of a hassle)

Khagan: Eliminate Genghis Khan's maluses.

Reward: Temujin gains +1 to all stats.

Khanpletionist: Remove all of Ghenghis Khan's maluses and reach Maximum Khan.

Reward: Ghenghis Khan gains +10 Opinion.

Definitely would be a way to build towards that "35+ Martail Operative with minimum 75 Loyalty" goal, you know?

Truly Incredible: Have a world class, A-Lister Super or Cape under your command.

Reward: Prestige.

...You think we could use Khan for that as well? I mean, officially he *is* a Cape with a "Mongolian Warlord" theme, so it would be a road we could take here.

D.E.I.Y.: Create a homegrown hero unit.

Reward: Unit gains +5 Loyalty.

Ducktrails: Find Donald Duck.

Reward: Donald Duck may become a Hero Unit. Permanent loyalty boost for Dennis.

An Empty House in Mouseton: Find out what happened to Mickey Mouse.

Reward: Some questions answered.

Closer to Bragging Rights imho, but not a bad idea

Chan's the Man: Obtain all Chan Talismans.

Reward: New card unlocked.

*Are* we "gotta catch´em all", though?

DoofQuest International: Break into an international market.

Reward: Gain 2 Income.

Could anyone run by me what that means exactly? Not wanting to make assumptions, you know?

Midnight: Cause the collapse of the U.S. Government and the subsequent deaths of millions.

Reward: Immediate independence.

Yeeeeeaaaaahhhh...

NO

Look, I am as invested into the Doofainian Dream as the next guy, but going about it as "I-don´t-give-a-fuck-about-anything-else" as THAT would be beyond callous and idiotic. Not only would it paint a GIANT bullseye on our back, it also would leave us utterly alone.

Not worth it AT ALL.

People Die When They Are Killed: Figure out what Kitsune meant.

Reward: +5 Kitsune Opinion.

Would be nice to have if we want/need to collab with Xanatos via her on some Occult stuff, if nothing else.

Thirty-Six: Get inducted into a secret society.

Reward: Learn of the splinter.

...David letting us in on the Magical Auction didn´t count? Bummer, but good to know that there would be that stuff waiting for us as well.

A Loooot of Counseling: Repair the Dickens' marriage.

Reward: The Dickens become a permanent Contractor.

Oh boy, that´ll be a tough nut to crack...

Doof In the House: Flagrantly abuse legal loopholes to ???

Reward: Gain access to the ???.

It's Going to Get Worse: Survive ???

Reward: ???

It's My World and You're All Living in it: Encounter ??? in the heart of Doofania.

Reward: ???

Don´t know about those, so not giving my thoughts on them.

Did He Want You to Do That?: Succeed on an Intrigue National Action opposed by Xanatos' Infiltration DC.

Reward: +1 to your King's Intrigue.

Impossible: Succeed on a Martial National Action opposed by Shego's Defense DC.

Reward: +1 to Doof Martial.

Yeeeeaaaah, those two are clear "Bragging Rights/Victory Lap" Objectives - not planning on actively pursuing them because of cost/benefit discrepancy

Hound of Orion: Fail to stop something.

Reward: It begins.

...The Kataklysm *Doesn´t* count??? Ok, now I am confused and seriously lacking in good judgement...

It Can't Happen Again!: Hold a gala.

Reward: Opinion boosts with various Kings.

*chuckles*

You guys are really gonna hold us to our ramblings earlier on that topic, huh? I mean, Opinion boosts with *multiple* Kings would be really valuable for our Corporate Court idea, but what even should we make the Gala be about in the first place?

I mean, I wouldn´t be against it, but there are many moving parts to consider still.

Caffeine: Inaugurate SPLIT/SECOND.

Reward: Meet the best racers in the world. A certain RER completes automatically.

Yeah, we got that one on our platter as well...Now we just need to *Fit it in* into our timetable first...

The Sprite and the Firewall: Uncover the purpose of LEGACY.

Reward: ???

Hello Neighbor: Meet all interdimensional factions.

Reward: ???

Well, *technically* this goal is just flat-out IMPOSSIBLE to achieve considering that alternative timelines are different dimensions as well and any event of us meeting one of them would automaticelly create a timeline where the contact *didn´t* happen because "Multiple-Worlds-Interpretation" (therefore creating another "interdimensional faction" to meet and so on...) and all, but I know what you mean - there is a finite amount of interdimensional factions in this Quest and once we met those, we are golden.

Not against it, just pointing out metaphysical caveats.

Like A Real Capitalist: Sic the Government on someone.

Reward: +1 Government Opinion.

...Could we do that one during the DoI Adventure maybe? Killing two birds with one stone and all, you know?

Would be for it.

Rogue States Have To Stick Together: Become friends with Thembria.

Reward: Access to cheap sinks and ???

Naaaah, not feeling dealing with them and probably pissing off DC in the process without serious impetus.

The Good News: Uncover the truth of the cult in San Fransokyo

Reward: ???

*sighs heavily*

Don´t want to deal with ANYTHING Bill-related, but we HAVE to if we don´t wanna have unspeakable things done to us and everyone we love, so there we go, I guess?

Life of Alan: Have Alan Bradley 'achieve' three critical failures in total (1/3)

Reward: Alan gains a trait that reduces the chance of crit failure.

Not hot on "achieving" that Objective given that it would entail tormenting poor Alan some more, but at least things would get easier for both him and us afterwards, so there´s that.

Everything Is Under Control: Give a normal person superpowers.

Reward: +1 spontaneously generated funds from the ether.

And now I wish our previous "hunches" of what the Seeds Interlude was about had been correct...Oh well, there is always next time, I guess?

He's a Quack: Help humiliate Ludwig von Drake.

Reward: Ludivine gains +10 opinion.

Maybe if we got the spare time.

A New Man: Complete the New Men Project OR resolve Janus Lee's issues.

Reward: ??? or ???

Preferring the Issue-Resolving, personally - but I am open for both.

Empty Nest: Increase child count by 1.

Reward: Depends on the child.

I mean, we are kinda-closer on achieving that with Norm than we are with CJ, but there are still some psychological issues to resolve first.

Maybe There's a Lesson in All This: Halt 3 Critical Failures with Mr. Moesby.

Reward: Doofenshmirtz gains +1 Stewardship.

Since I THINK that Mosebys anti-CritFail trait only proccs within the rather narrow window of it having to be lobby-adjacent in some form, that´s a rather high risk to tackle for a rather meager reward imho.

Self-Improvement: Complete all of Doof's training personal actions at least once.

Reward: +1 to Doof's lowest stat.

Which stat would that be right now again?

But yeah, self-improvement ftw!

And some you have missed the opportunity to complete:

Breadbasket: Dominate the food industry.

...We still can do that one, though? Sure, with all that stiff resistance having sprung up by now it´d be a TOUGH FIGHT, but it´s still perfectly possible in my mind.

Golden Lion: Break someone out of Impel Duck.
Did Glomgold already shove all the expies in jail? Would acting out his fanfics reduce their sentences?
Caffeine: Inaugurate SPLIT/SECOND.

Reward: Meet the best racers in the world. A certain RER completes automatically.
Go-Go?
It's My World and You're All Living in it: Encounter ??? in the heart of Doofania.
Probability ions don't work in the current physics engine but the Murphy's knows a thing or two about quality control.
A New Man: Complete the New Men Project OR resolve Janus Lee's issues.
We need to show Lee that no matter how many bells and whistles are slapped into one's genome, they can still be an idiot.

Breadbasket was missed because it involved dominating food early into the famine and possibly sawing the legs off of other factions' efforts to become independent from your food supplies. You can be big in the food industry but you can no longer pull a "do what I say or you starve" move.

We seem to be having different definitions of what "Dominating the food market" means, then - but it´s honestly not that big either way.

...We still can do that one, though? Sure, with all that stiff resistance having sprung up by now it´d be a TOUGH FIGHT, but it´s still perfectly possible in my mind.
Even if we spent several turns focused on it doing stuff like crop genetics, artificial meat, automatic farms, hydroponics, robotic chefs, Soylent, cooking shows etc We probably still wouldn't be able to compete with Seth supplies / Toffee's massive slave plantations.

If we get rid of Toffee then dominating the food industry is probably beneath our concern.

...The Kataklysm *Doesn´t* count??? Ok, now I am confused and seriously lacking in good judgement...
I don't think it means "fail to prevent something important", it means "fail to prevent a specific thing".

Since I THINK that Mosebys anti-CritFail trait only proccs within the rather narrow window of it having to be lobby-adjacent in some form, that´s a rather high risk to tackle for a rather meager reward imho.
Nah. It's not that specific. It has to be an action that, narratively, takes place within DEI headquarters.

I don't think it means "fail to prevent something important", it means "fail to prevent a specific thing".

I´d consider an invasion of our turf by super-power cats backed by bonafide ALIENS with the possibility of a SEcrecy Breach pretty important, though.

Nah. It's not that specific. It has to be an action that, narratively, takes place within DEI headquarters.

Huh...that´s far better, if still a bit narrow.

But otherwise that trait would probably be overpowered, so that caveat tracks.

I´d consider an invasion of our turf by super-power cats backed by bonafide ALIENS with the possibility of a SEcrecy Breach pretty important, though.
It's refering to a specific event though, possibly Yokai's rampage or Wierdamaggedon, not "a breach of a masquarade" besides the breaches were blocked, everyone just thinks it was cats with superpowers not aliens.

Drugs available:
highly addictive nootropic drug that has been flooding the streets.
Trade impulse control for cognitive enhancement.
other drugs are being distributed as well, such as an injection that can supercharge or flat-out grant superpowers, even removing limits on previously existing ones, though it comes with a slew of nasty side effects such as power incontinence, mental degradation, or flat-out death.
The initial batch of super drugs that gets user from zero to hero to below zero.
new product called 'Upper' has been making the rounds, granting its users a sense of euphoria and temporary flight. There are surprisingly very few downsides, with most of the injuries coming as a result of the flight running out midair.
V2, safe if user has a witness they'll listen to while on cloud 9.
The substance, deemed 'Primal' on the street, is an extremely pure purple crystalline substance that causes lowered inhibitions and increased aggression, making it a favorite of gangs in the region.
Angry juice.
Word on the street is that a dangerous new street drug called 'Smile Dip' is making the rounds. Users report intense hallucinations and pupil dilation followed by a horrific crash.
Hallucinate in a corner and for an hour then feel like garbage.
Sycorax is proud to announce that the United States military has wholeheartedly embraced their new line of superpower-granting drugs in the new 'Minutemen Program', intended as a simultaneous projection of power and homage to the days of Nimble Jack.
No side effects or at least none that will spring up until Di is ready.

Several stimulants, an accidental hallucinogen, & no depressants. If we get into the market the last two are the way to go.

Concrete goals?! HALLE-FRICKING-LUJAH!!!!! Oh, I am so happy right now. Several of these seem really cool or essential, others are definite no-nos (ex. Invade Drusselstein. No. If we were to do something like that, I would only support it if we were destroying the country for good. However, that might just cause a Drusselstein Diaspora, and then we'd never be rid of it. Ugh) Kinda bummed about some of those missed opportunities, but I'm honestly glad it turned out like this.
Yesterday's Dream: Find the Box.

Reward: Begin The Realist.
Uhhh... can someone explain this one to me? I do not understand.
Golden Lion: Break someone out of Impel Duck.

Reward: New hero unit.
Ugh, are you giving us Shiki for this? Why?! He's an asshole! Actually, this is him:
((Doorenshmirtz's Quirkiness)/3)+((Xanatos' Tactical Mind)/2)+((Doom's Sadism)-((Shego's Sadism)/4))+((Toffee's Delusions of Grandeur)*3) = Shiki

Yeah, if we´re getting an OP Expy, why not Katakuri, Z or even Baron Omatsuri (as *horrifying* as that movie was, it was AWESOME that way)?

Golden Lion: Break someone out of Impel Duck.

.... what are the chances its Scrouge McDuck?
Yesterday's Dream: Find the Box.

A Loooot of Counseling: Repair the Dickens' marriage.

The Good News: Uncover the truth of the cult in San Fransokyo

Reward: Now you get to know the bad news, in a safe way! :V

Can someone tell me when this happened?
The Huntsmaster was crippled after Twelfth Night. We see Thorn take his place, and they opened up low-level recruiting to people without the mark.

You've noticed some odd theories during your weekly perusal of So Weird. Apparently there was a hailstorm the other day in Middleton with some very unusual precipitation. In addition to the normal hail one could expect, several people reported perfectly round, perfectly clear spheres of ice the size of a fist falling onto the ground. The spheres lasted throughout the storm undisturbed, only to melt immediately after being touched. Even fewer commenters reported finding odd objects inside the hailstones, such as screws, bolts, and living cockroaches.
Huh. This is interesting. Shiv McQueen told us that the head of the Cartel used the name Hailstorm and back in March/April 2017 Middleton suffered from a strange hailstorm. It even had screws, bolts, and cockroches.

It might suggest that the Cartel is being run by a super with ice powers. Though I have no idea why they would want to cause a hailstorm that didn't do much of anything.

I would think this is a more general achievement, where we can break anyone out and get them as a hero unit.
Where is Khan sitting again atm? After all, he seems like our best shot at grabbing that Objective rn.
55 currently.
Definitely would be a way to build towards that "35+ Martial Operative with minimum 75 Loyalty" goal, you know?
...You think we could use Khan for that as well? I mean, officially he *is* a Cape with a "Mongolian Warlord" theme, so it would be a road we could take here.
Assuming Martial 60+ is the cut off for A-Class, the +4 from Khagan and Street Samurai would get him to 59 Martial, plus whatever Maximum Khan does, assuming it has any statistical benefits, would get him to A-Class.
Don´t know about those, so not giving my thoughts on them.
Doof in the House seems to be some kind of "become president, learn about conspiracy" and It's My World is a reference to Milo Murphy's Law's theme song, so probably we find Milo.

Well, obvious option would be to brag about our AI work, and maybe cash in on the publicity to fuel the Sparks of whichever AI we put in focus.

I think it means every faction that's doing stuff across multiple dimensions, which is a significantly smaller number than every faction in other dimensions. Also, you quoted The Sprite and the Firewall but didn't actually comment on it.

Not hot on "achieving" that Objective given that it would entail tormenting poor Alan some more, but at least things would get easier for both him and us afterwards, so there´s that.
Both of these are honestly more consolation prizes we'll earn by accident over time. Although I wonder if Alan's will progress if Moseby Halts the actual ramifications.
Which stat would that be right now again?
Occult by a mile.
Probability ions don't work in the current physics engine but the Murphy's knows a thing or two about quality control.
Which seems kinda weird considering the Stinkelkrampen-Inator and Probability-Inator.

...

It's probably just wordplay.

It is certainly a reference to Shiki, but no chance we are getting Best Mob Pirate here.

After the thing with demona I believe.

The huntsclan helped to beat her and got a crit giving them good publicity from it.

Leadership was passed to thorn and they opened up recruiting and absorbed a anti-gargoyle media group or something to that effect.

The Canmores are an anti-Demona trio of siblings, last heirs of a family line of Demona hunters that goes back a bunch of centuries.

The most concerning part there may be that the Canmores are supposed to have some manner of Illuminati backing.
