His focus had slipped, costing him more chakra, but he returned to the water's surface just in time to hear the splash of a body hitting the water behind him.

"Tenten!" Kei cried out.

Of course. He and Kei had the mental and spiritual fortitude to resist the chakravores' drain, and Noburi had too much chakra for the beasts to take him out of commission, but Tenten had neither the reserves nor the Gōketsu special training to resist the drain of a dozen chakravores.

All the adult chakravores had emerged from the pool and floated away from the walls, doing nothing… or rather, trying to drain the team's chakra as hard as they could. The team had cut down the beasts' numbers down to less than a dozen, but Yuno looked weakened.

Hazō ate his words an instant later as Yuno leaped across the cistern to slash a particularly large otter in half, as Kei and Tenten continued to snipe the chakravores down. There were only four more adult ones that he could see.
Continuity error, I think. Tenten falls into the water, then seen again fighting alongside Kei.

Does immediate treatment take the full three hours?
No, but it would take at least ten minutes.

How secure is the area we are currently in?
HDK, but he guesses 'not very'.

If we do a reckless dash to the Kagome perimeter, does Noburi think he will have time to do an immediate treatment on Yuno (including any time it takes to set up Vampiric Attunement)?
Yes.

Has chakdar been triggering in the cave? We're discussing if it would prevent an ambush by the burrowing predators Yubo spotted.
No.

If we ask Yuno, is tremorsense is universal or highly common among chakra beast burrowers? And would skywalkers therefore render us invisible to such beasts, what does she say?
Yuno doesn't know how common it is. She says that by default, she treats them as having tremorsense (and thus managing her movement carefully is important).

If we ask Noburi, can Yuno use skywalkers in her injured state without damaging herself more, what does he say?
Probably minimal risk of damage, compared to boosting or jutsu.

Oi. Don't make me draw the Radiant Herring of Told You So

The aftermath last time was cataclysmic... is trying to get one over on your fellow player truly worth mass evacuation and 1600 square miles of flaming devastation?
I wouldn't do so after the chapter if bad shit happens as a result but I maintain the degree of pettyness and confidence and my own position to do so beforehand!

@eaglejarl so we didn't vote this in (and we didn't not vote this in), but -- it occurs to me that with Rocket Boots having a duration we could just fire them the whole way out and blast our way out of the cavern semi-iron man style. Which I thought you might enjoy writing, and so wish to bring it to your attention.

Lol

But seriously, telling people "I told you so" is not behavior we should encourage, which is why I condemn it every time. It does nothing but make the community feel more hostile IMO, and is honestly just kind of annoying. If people want to say "you were right" to someone else, perfectly fine and commendable behavior. But trying to 'beat' other players in some kind of performative social contest outside of the voting process, so to speak? Nah, get that shit out of here, we're here to have fun and work together, not do this schoolyard nonsense.

In this particular case I'm doing it because I have noticed a tendency of Sir Stompy to ignore my suggestions. (There are reasons for this, yes; not all of my suggestions are well-thought out. But frequently the response is just "Nah")

Do you think saying "I told you so" is going to make someone more inclined to listen to you, rather than something like, "Hey it seems like you tend to ignore my ideas. Here's an example of it and how it could've hurt us, would you be more willing to hear me out?"

I know which one I would find more persuasive :V

But idk maybe @Sir Stompy really respects being told "I told you so"🗿

So -- you're not wrong here. But I also like Sir Stompy enough and respect him enough to think that if it bothered him he'd tell me (I've had people tell me that things I do bother them before, in this community). And -- to some extent, phrasing it as "I told you so" gives him the warrant to not take it super seriously, as it's such a childish thing to say, while still bringing to mind the fact that I have been right on things like combat implications of X or Y in the future to adjust his assessments. Whereas going at it as you suggest would have made it a more meta-level conversation than I was intending.

This took me a while to put together my thoughts on because I realized a lot of this, uh, social simulation happens below the level of conscious thought.
