PSA: Regarding uncaps

As part of the new trial rules, every 5-level step will require its own uncap. Leaps will not be possible. We're making one final exemption for the upcoming Akane plan.
I feel strongly that we should rearrange Akane's pyramid this training plan, this could be our last chance to ever do so. She needs it for FOOM. It is kind of important.

"I'm sorry," Dairoku said again. "This area is secret. Your bad luck, old man." He lunged forward, thrusting with the spear. One clean thrust, ending it quickly so as not to cause more pain than needed.

And this is yet another reason why having Ino as a bride is good for our long term goals.

There's no need to kill otherwise innocent witnesses when you can trust your best blonde bride to simply wipe their brains of any security breaches. We have to get to the point where we, as a thread/hivemind, trust Ino enough with all of Hazou's inner secrets but that's what loving spouses should do anyway.

Do we know if we still need to uncap Akane's resolve? Velorien's post was ambiguous on that

There's a bit of player confusion between me and @Sir Stompy regarding diplomats in Doggos territory. He thought Panda is still in Doggos territory, I thought Panda have relocated since the Concave. Otherwise, there wouldn't be a need for Noburi to search for a toad diplomat for communication purposes, as opposed to empowerment for Zoo rush strategy.

Instead of committing false flag against Sand, why not perform a false flag against Rock, posing as Sand ninja?
  • If the ploy fails, the operation is still valuable in that it weakens our enemies. If successful, our ninja can retreat back into Wind Country to bait Rock into invading.
  • Additionally, there is less risk of turning an ally against ourselves.
Are we sure this is a good idea? I am seeing Rock noticing 'Sand-nin' attacking them and not believing that they're actually Sand-nin in the slightest.

How is a false flag operation going to survive contact? Aren't the jutsu ninja use super distinctive? Could we fake Rock movesets post-mortem?

I have serious doubt that a false flag operation as it stands will work or whether the risk is remotely a good idea. Even if we have a konoha team acting as Sand ninja to disguise themselves, we have them running back into Wind? What if they encounter Sand ninja? We would have a major diplomatic incident on our hand.

Did we do something like this in the last world wars? How did it turn out? Moreover, couldn't other ninja village use the same tactics as we did?

Rather than assume that this is something we want, maybe we should put a kibosh on the whole thing and just give 100% of our focus on the Otter mission.

[X] Kei SC SOP: Snowflake Season
  • Effective immediately:
    • Kei to reduce training by 4 blocks.
    • Snowflake gets 12 hours of continuous free time (get a job!)
  • Short term training priorities:
    • Kei and Snowflake to continue working on mental resilience (Resolve 50 -> 62), with chakra reserves in tandem to support (Chakra Reserves 27 -> 32).
    • If Snowflake is okay with waiting a little longer with 12 hours a day, a little more work (Resolve -> 68) yields long term benefits.
    • Once mental resilience is improved, training Shadow Clone and basic awareness should be productive (Alertness 31 -> 40, Shadow Clone 40 -> 50)
    • Add an extra hour of clone time (Resolve -> 63/69)
  • Effective once SC duration improved:
    • Kei to reduce training by 5 blocks.
    • Snowflake gets 16 hours of continuous free time (get a second job! or a girlfriend!)
    • (sometimes, due to pyramid reasons, Snowflake may get 15 hours of free time -- e.g. at Detour 3 when Kei is stuck at Resolve 89).
  • Long term training plan:
    • Will need to improve chakra reserves to support improved Shadow Clones (CR 32 -> 40)
    • Once alertness is improved, previous plans hold (Alertness 40 -> 60, Resolve 69 -> 72)

  • Discuss Otter/Sand strategy with war advisors.
  • Sand False Flag Operation:
    • If ploy fails, Sand might join Rock instead. Additionally, we're weakening an ally who's already weak.
    • Instead of committing false flag against Sand, try performing false flag against Rock, posing as Sand?
      • If ploy fails, operation is still valuable because it weakens our enemies. If successful, we can retreat into Wind Country to bait Rock into invading.
      • There's less risk of turning an ally against ourselves.
    • Alternatively, no false flag at all? Jutsu and clan techniques are distinctive. Other concessions could be offered to Sand instead to get their ninja deployed, better food deals or money perhaps.
How does this look?

It would be better to offer Sand the Otter scroll and strengthening our alliance with them for the long term It is something that Asuma is already thinking he wants to do.

Frankly, we're also due for a scroll alliance with Mist as well, but it's more urgent for us to have Sand be on our side a generation from now, especially with our summon path trade network that no Great Power has access to other than us. And our Zoo Rush strategy.
