But will it cause mass Henge breaking, which would result in the DQs we wanted? Or are we just going for the "who's a ninja" plan? So, I talked to Jackercracks, a fitness and exercise expert, and he claims that setting the temperature to 45°C should be sufficient to force sweating and people to evacuate in general without causing increased risk of heart conditions, etc. Conveniently it's much cheapter on chakra that way too.
Doesn't really matter if it gets them DQed or not; if everyone knows who's a ninja and who's a civilian, that works for us nearly as well. And since henge material doesn't leave their bodies, their clothes won't be soaked with sweat, so they'll be easy to pick out. But isn't our identity compromised, meaning that we'd lose more points due to people taking points from knowing our name/village/team name?Doesn't really matter if it gets them DQed or not; if everyone knows who's a ninja and who's a civilian, that works for us nearly as well. How would we lose any more points than the rest of them? But isn't our identity compromised, meaning that we'd lose more points due to people taking points from knowing our name/village/team name?
*checks updated Event rules*
No, I mean, how do we "lose" at all? If everyone knows everyone else, then everyone gets the same number of points, plus or minus secret partner shenanigans.*checks updated Event rules*

Fuck me, never mind. The original rules had us losing points if other people guessed those things, but the updated rules did not. I was under the impression that them knowing who Kurosawa Hazou would make us lose more points, but it just gives them more points.
So I guess we're not completely fucked, we just "lose" in the sense that we get less points than other contestants.
Except for the top teams which we are assuming will do well in this Event as well as the previous ones. Then that isn't too bad. We are still one of the top teams no small thanks to the performance in our previous tests. So people will just be catching up with this test.
Still think we should go with the mass DQ plan.
It is worth noting that, by design, there is no complete overlap between the winning strategies for the different events. For example, the presently flourishing infiltration and social manipulation experts are likely to have struggled in the Swamp of Mild Inconvenience. Your team enjoys an unusual combination of good skill balance, effective strategising and successful cheating, which is why you haven't been tripped up in any of the events until now despite the best efforts of both your rivals and the proctors.Except for the top teams which we are assuming will do well in this Event as well as the previous ones.

Right, but um...top teams. There's no way they aren't doing well, like top 95% well.It is worth noting that, by design, there is no complete overlap between the winning strategies for the different events. I'm not. I'm presuming they simply have more XP to dump into all their skills, making them Chunin-level across the board. Why would you presume the top team are as well as balanced as us?
That's way too high of a standard. We are currently underground, which means that if we want to get Keiko's advice we have to have an update. Which means that we pretty much have to "waste" an update talking to her in a 5 minute conversation.I am skeptical of any mass DQ plan. Show me if it can work(and approved by Keiko), then I'll vote for it.

Then we can make a second plan to default to if Keiko thinks it's a bad idea? It's not a hard problem to solve. So? We wasted five minutes conversation and sanity check for updates before.

Because it's a safer assumption that "everyone's better than us" than "everyone's worse than us", in this case. We're not losing out on anything by assuming the teams that're ahead will stay ahead. Why are you assuming this? Maybe they're just doing well because the prior events fit the skills they put XP into, but this event is giving them problems.
