I'm not going to weigh in on the logic of either side's arguments, but I will ask that everyone read over what they write and really consider if the words they used are polite and won't be inflammatory intentionally or not. You cant account for people's tolerances perfectly but at least try to say your piece without saying things that can be easily construed as overly dismissive of the other side of the argument, thank you.

Here's some more detail: The dwarf tradition of tattooing started in Zorn where it was used to mark the events and experiences of one's life. As well as Clan relations, profession and rank, deeds and so forth. A way of signaling important social information as well as acting as a tool of social control - Ranger tattoos in Zorn were used as essentially marks of exile from the Hold. The Zornish style of art and decoration, which I believe extends to tattoos, is fond of pyramidal and distinctly angular geometric lines and shapes.

From there the tradition has remained strong but evolved as it spread across the Karaz Ankor. Tattoos have not been mentioned much in the Far North outside of the Plumbeards of Dorden who use the Zornish style, but non-Zornish tattoo styles likely exist up here. If non-Zornish tattoo styles do exist, I assume they would have to be heavily influenced by the knotwork art style of Kraka Drakk which has influenced art throughout the Far North, mixed with influences from Zhufbar, Kadrin, and elsewhere.
 
I'd like to think that, even with pride and stubborness would prevent Snorri from seeking payment from providing hospitality to Khazagar's visitors, students and teachers, that same pride and stubborness will drive those same visitors to repay that freely given hospitality.
 
So, question, but is the Waywalking addition to Way to the Stones something that needs to be paid upfront or an option that gets locked in if Snorri doesn't commit at this time the two retainer actions it requires?

It's just adds additional actions that can be completed on later turns. If there's a deadline, then it'd have to be done by that date but way to the stones doesn't have a deadline. The Dorden request is 3 retainer actions that once taken need to be done by t58 but can be done over time until that point.
 
And besides, even if we don't know the amount of progress from Way To The Stones and Waywalking, it's progress towards Monolith Mastery. Every little bit there helps, what with 20 progress remaining.

    Alright. That's awesome.

    Really makes me want to see Kragg and the other canon runesmiths visit the north in the Potential path series, or Snorri visit the south in general. Even if there's a good chance he never constructed it in that timeline.
