-[] Give her the offer of providing free grief seed cleansings to her and her group, in return for...lets just say favours. Give her time to consult with her group. Don't rush her to a decision.

I'm not sure I like how this is worded. It pretty much means we're putting an unnamed price tag on our cleansing. I'd rather we offer the cleansing as a means of building relations with other groups. If other groups would like to offer favors for it, that's just a neat little bonus.

I'd rather stress that in spite of what happened here in Sendai, our intent is to build relations. Not get favors.

Reading the last update, did anyone get the feeling that Akiko was trying to achieve something... vital to her? And that bad things could happen if we don't find out? I really don't want to fight some Noelle-like abomination Akiko's kept stashed away. Hopefully those are just crazed ramblings from her personal hangups.
Per Oriko, we have time.

Now to go discover for ourselves why the Doctor prefers to leave once the action is over.

I'd like to say that I have been coerced into this vote and I have an image of the perpetrator. Look at those tiny soulless eyes!

What I find the worst aspect of this whole mess is that noone really gained anything from the fighting.
It was absolutely pointless.

We know have to deal with cleaning up this mess, which is way more complicated than before the fighting. More resentment for everyone involved.
Fukushima got seriously trashed and probably won't get their payment and is at our mercy.
Sendai is more or less done for and Akiko seems to have lost what little of her sanity remained in the last two updates.
The only ones who are arguably in a better position are the University girls, since they can now negotiate from a stronger position, but we will probably veto any drastic punishments they may think of.

Tokyo girl is terrified of us at the moment, but if we can convince her of our noble intentions, she may be the only real winner of this whole thing, since she might get free grief cleansing out of this.

Brings up alll of the points that I can think of that are an immediate concern.
I'll just assume bringing along Kuvira is covered by the bring all bodies part.

Muramasa has a point.
Maybe just say we can clean grief seeds and gems and we are open for any proposals or talks, once this is over?

What we're offering here is, to all intents and purposes, weapons, and we cannot effectively vet or monitor clients 300km away.
I'm open to the possibility that in-kind services aren't what we should be trading them for, but the offer being no-strings-attached should be completely out of the question. The clusterfuck when one (or more) side in a war has unconditional access to limitless magic would be hilarious(-ly messy).

The main issue is that if we give them basically carte blanche infinite magic no strings attached, that could cause some major problems down the line if they start abusing that. I know we would cut off infinite cleansings the moment word reaches us of what they've done, but I'd rather not enable them to do so in the first place. The line preceding that already establishes our motive, and the favours bit is to drive home the point that the services that we offer won't be entirely without strings.

What about just limiting the amount of free cleansing to an amount which will reasonably allow survival (and a reasonable rate of killing familiars etc - remember, a big part of our reasoning is to reduce the incentive to leave familiars alive in order to get more grief seeds, so just restricting it to minimum survival levels won't accomplish that) without allowing them to stockpile grief seeds for force projection purposes.

Ideally we should also have something that will encourage them to give grief seeds to us (for science purposes / to prevent them from giving them to Kyubey) so, how about allowing them to trade three full grief seeds for two empty ones, independent of the basic quota?

I'd think we'd notice them requiring excessively frequent cleansing, or building a stockpile of grief seeds, before they have a chance to do much damage

As mentioned in the post before this, Singlish is not a fictional language.

@Random832:

Hm. Consider me corrected on Singlish, though I'd imagine Lebonese would be similar - in any case AuraTwilight knows more than me who only saw it today.

We're not even gonna get home before we find out about the next "thing" at this rate. :p

Next time, Godzilla Sane Witch of questionable sanity attacks Tokyo! Can the Black, Blue, Red, Pink, Green and Yellow Magical girls stop her from stealing everyone's soul? Is Tokyo doomed to become a zombie wasteland, with despair in the air?

I'm in favor of letting her go home with nothing. Now that we know her we can make offers later by telepathy. Once the current mess is secured properly.

We are just asking to butterfly in another war by offering free cleansing to one group alone. Let's do so under more controlled circumstances.
