The UG took care of her.

Also, turns out she isn't actually within the metal Katamari itself, so all those plans about charging in directly into that mass and cutting were, well, doomed to failure from the get go.

Man, we were seriously lucky we decided on letting the UG handle it on their own while we take on Ramiel, otherwise we probably would've ended up trapped in that mass of metal getting slowly taken apart by both the KKVs and Ramiel

I'm pretty sure such plans would have been preceded by: [] Grief sense: Is she actually inside there?

I know I mentioned it once, at least.

Heal injured nonmegucas in car crashes. There must not be dyings!
Paramedics and emergency services should be on their way... Though that doesn't really deter us from saving some trapped people, won't it?

Could meguca sense if a girl just got contracted neaby? Do we have an SOP for any newly minted megucas we meet?

Also, think we can ask Ueda what's the mgaical climate in Tokyo? Maybe confirm if the Tokyo six is a thing in this timeline?

The Tokyo Six are original characters made by Moid and me, though our respective contributions depend on the girl- Haruko is almost entirely my OC, and most of the rest were created by Moid with me helping flesh out their backstories. They really have no reason at all to appear here, especially as Firn already has Tokyo OCs.

Not sure what to do on helping normal people. Kuvira was trying to avoid casualties but I don't know successful it was. Maybe ask Kyubey if he's around on how many dead and critically wounded? He has to be here if only to stop the masquerade from collapsing. Help the mortally wounded by using Rin? Or does KB deal with it? We won't have much time before first responders arrive.

Recent contractees is a good point, but I hope we can deal with it after the surrender. Girls might contract some time after the disaster as the effects spread instead of immediately, or I hope so.

I don't think the Tokyo 6 are a thing in PMAS. They were only referenced in one omake. I don't like when things are directly copied. I think the Tokyo groups could be like amoral gangs but we can deal with them openly. I also want to know what the hell Mami did that made her so renowned, or is that going to remain a noodle incident?

Your vote looks legit, but I will note that yours and Ugo's both suffer from Micro again. You can probably condense some of your points into single lines, and I'm not sure that "keep Akiko unconscious" is necessary. I don't think anyone would interpret leaving that out as "Well clearly time to wake her back up!".

@defenestrator: My vote to a plan that does it, until I write one anyway.

Recent contractees...Well, they'll keep. So kind of lower priority than picking up disconnected bodies, really.

And to think one of the reasons I made that rehash of a vote is to reduce micro...

Well, it's been reduced further, to the best of my abilities. Tell me if it holds up.

Still has the redundant 'keep Akiko unconcious' line.

Ueda's already plenty intimidated of us:
She pauses, and then adds, "I... don't think we'll be taking her up on it."

"What did she offer, anyway?" you ask.

Noa presses her lips together. "We owe her a favour, and she was offering Grief Seeds, too. Not enough," she adds hastily.
So I don't think we need to make a counter-offer to ensure their non-interference. She knows Akiko's a lost cause. Unless that favor they owe is the life-debt kind.

I would suggest to ask Chouko "How bad is it?" to see if there were a lot of casualties even with how 'careful' Kuvira was. Not to mention Ramiel's freaking light show would have blinded some drivers down in the highway. We should at least know if emergency services could use a hand ... Maybe prevent some girls from contracting the way Mami did.

I don't think QB will deal with the wounded for us, but he might tell us about them if we ask. How about this:

[x] Update Chouko. Ask them to meet up at the radio tower and pick up any bodies she finds along the way.
[x] Ask Ueda for her side of her story. Explain after done.
-[x] Give her the offer of providing free grief seed cleansings to her and her group, in return for their non-interference. Give her time to consult and discuss. Don't rush her to a decision.
[x] Ask Kyubey about civilian injuries
[x] Telepathy Rin. Ask for her location, provide quick summary, ask if she needs help.
[x] Once the University group gets here:
- [x] Consult with everyone on our next course of action
- [x] Point: We want to heal any civilians
- [x] Point: We want to gather the incapacitated girl's bodies
-[x] Bring up the idea of letting Sakura go to help out.
-[x] Go ahead and execute once we've got a definite plan.

I also want to know what the hell Mami did that made her so renowned, or is that going to remain a noodle incident?
I'm think it was just general badassery, not any single event.

Strongly disagree with phrasing an open-ended deal with Tokyo in terms of short-term noninterference, rather than (at least a symbolic) alliance. You don't hand out something as destabilizing as infinite magical power (to unknowns with poor taste in friends, at that) and not retain some say in how it's used. That's somewhere between criminally irresponsible and terminally stupid.

Mostly just irresponsible, but good catch. That's in all the votes isn't it? Maybe reword to:

-[] Give her the offer of providing free grief seed cleansings to her and her group, in return for certain concessions. Give her time to consult and discuss, we can hash something out later.

...Interesting. You can add Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Kannada as well. I can also communicate (general stuff like "how are you" and knowing general words like "do", "give" ) for Thai, Korean and a bunch of other Indian languages.

[x] Update Chouko. Ask them to meet up at the radio tower and pick up any bodies she finds along the way.
-[x] Ask her how bad the damage is.
[x] Ask Ueda for her side of her story. Fill in the holes in her knowledge after she's done.
-[x] Give her the offer of providing free grief seed cleansings to her and her group, in return for...lets just say favours. Give her time to consult with her group. Don't rush her to a decision.
[x] Telepathy Rin. Ask for her location, provide quick summary, ask if she needs help.
[x] Once the University group gets here:

- [x] Point: We want to heal any civilians.
- [x] Point: We want to gather the incapacitated girl's bodies
- [x] Bring up the idea of letting Sakura go to help out, but don't force the issue if they seem reluctant.
- [x] Go ahead and execute once we've got a definite plan.

At this point, we might as well just put it down as ALL of them. It's not really that far from the truth, all things considered.

Much better. The consult vote is a nice addition too. Should help curb whatever Leeroy Jenkins attitude we have

Though... Look, I can see the point about offering free cleanses in exchage for favors. Call it shadowruns if you must, but I have this thought of several desperate, meguca factions and independents making a beeline for Mitakihara to ask/bribe/convince/coerce the witch seed dispenser grief-controlling girl to help them win the war/save their friend/rescue hostages/takeover territory/unseat a tyrant and/or fund magical SCIENCE!!!

On a board this size, you'll be able to find someone who speaks pretty much any language of significant size fairly easily. Tracking them all as if they are important is a silly waste of time.

Yeah, we've probably opened a hell of a pandora's box by doing this, but reason does pandora's box exist, if not to be opened? Anyway, we're saving lives.

We knew that this would happen the moment we choose to get involved in this whole mess. it's the whole reason we didn't just open with befriending all combatants into submission, because we don't want the rumour that spreads around to be that of a bloodthirsty conqueror.

It kinda got drowned out once Akiko began acting like a shit, though.

Favours are good, I do not want anything like an even symbolic alliance (heard it mentioned) just yet. Don't want to get drawn into Tokyo affairs. Its also a good idea to fix the damage first before setting a peace.

Reading the last update, did anyone get the feeling that Akiko was trying to achieve something... vital to her? And that bad things could happen if we don't find out? I really don't want to fight some Noelle-like abomination Akiko's kept stashed away. Hopefully those are just crazed ramblings from her personal hangups.
